It is also used to retain documents both in ongoing records and in records that require the latest revision to be available to all employees. We also store \& control access to our medical \& ITAR documents. One unique feature we use daily is the ability to set up print sets that allow us to automatically print out sets of documents daily (preset groups of drawings required for each day's work order packets). > > **Cons**: We are still using the older Java-based version, so we have some trouble getting the Java settings correct on each new user's computer. > > Overall I have been very satisfied with ImageSite and would love to move the new version, and use it to a fuller extent. It allows our field tech's to be able to see the drawings using an internet connection. > > **Cons**: You still need to work on the creation/development of workflows. While the current version is a major milestone of its functionality, there are limits to what you can do with it still. > > We previously did not have a very good version control standard. Our drawings could only be seen and modified directly by engineering and drafting. No at least the field can see the drawing and get a copy of it. By design they still can't modify drawings directly. But all groups now can view the drawings at the same time and discuss them which is a major improvement. Workflow has been a little frustrating to use.
