Brilliant for startups
Product Fruits was recommended to me by a tech founder. This one recommendation has saved me hours, enabled us to build a much more complex but intuitive user journey, and make the product look like something that's been around for a long time. Instead of a product just out of MVP and still only supported by a very small team.
Pros
I am a tech startup founder and our product is changing on a daily, sometimes hourly basis. Product Fruits allows me to quickly test different content, hints, tours, etc without needing to involve the development team. I can test things quickly, iterate, and continually improve the customer journey almost real time.
Cons
We have quite a complex site with dynamic pages and content, sometimes it's a little difficult to ensure I have chosen the right trigger, but it's easy to save and view live on the web app in seconds so not a major issue.

Great product, great value!
From sales to customer support to product management, the entire Product Fruits team has been great to work with so far. I enjoy receiving product tips via email, the team is very responsive when I have questions, and the product itself is pretty awesome.
Pros
I don't believe you'll find a product on the market that is easier to use, more full-featured, or at a better price point than Product Fruits. We previously used a leading competitor, but their pricing structure was not only hard to understand but also prohibitively expensive. This really limited us. In contrast, Product Fruits offers all their features at a single, reasonable cost, making it an exceptional value. Switching to Product Fruits has been a game-changer for us, providing us with a comprehensive solution without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!
Cons
Product Fruits is still in its early stages, so naturally, there are some deficiencies in the product. This requires a bit of patience and a willingness to support their ongoing development efforts. However, I actually appreciate having a voice in those improvements, so it's not really a negative for me. Being able to contribute feedback and see it shape the product is a unique and rewarding experience.

Overall I really like the product. Looking forward to future updates to better enhance the platform.
Pros
How easy it is to use. Most of the features are pretty straightforward.
Cons
Hit or miss if something actually publishes to our site. Additionally not having a just a preview environment that you can publish too without setting up segmentations etc. Its a bit tricky to understand and causes unwanted post to be public. Additionally not being able to link an already existing knowledge base to the account which then requires us to keep duplicate documentation in two places.

The BEST Onboarding Platform, Hands Down!
Product fruits really takes the best parts about so many other product onboarding tools and puts it all into one easy to use platform with MUCH more customization. The product walkthroughs are by far our favorite feature, but the banners and popups and hints are amazing as well. I've tried a lot of customer onboarding platforms, and Product Fruits takes the cake by far.
The ability to add custom CSS has been one of my favorite features, as it's allowed to take large tooltip/hints and make them into discreet tips that fit our user interface. So many other products won't let you add this level of customization. It's really perfect.
Pros
The product walkthroughs are by far our favorite feature.
Cons
My only negative experience has been that sometimes the product walkthroughs and tagging users with certain triggers takes a bit, which can lead to a glitchier experience for the end user. For instance, I'll finish a micro walkthrough which should trigger another walkthrough, but it takes 15 seconds or so before the next one starts up.

This was a cheaper alternative, but more importantly the product walkthroughs were so much more customizable and powerful compared to intercoms. Intercom's frequently broke when our users would go through them. This has been a big improvement.Switched From

Perfect tool for small businesses
Overall we are really happy with our choice of Product Fruits. We initially purchased a monthly subscription but recently felt confident enough to move to an annual subscription.
We look forward to growing with Product Fruits!
Pros
It doesn't track more data than you want it to (we have very strict data privacy controls).
It has the crucial elements we need at a price we are happy to pay. We aren't forced to over-purchase for our current needs. We looked at competitors like Pendo, which cost way too much because they are trying to include everything.
Their employees, especially the support staff, are quick and extremely nice when helping you. 10 out of 10 for the people. Its one of the biggest reasons I felt comfortable going with Product Fruits.
I also like how transparent they are with their pricing. I hate when you have to talk to sales to understand what something will cost.
Cons
Ideally, there would be more styling controls for all elements.
I would like to integrate with Jira Service Management for support and Confluence for the knowledge base. They have a great built-in knowledge base, but we already have one. I'd like to be able to integrate with it.
This has less to do with the product and more with our situation, but we use it in an embedded app within other platforms. The fact that we're iframed in makes it complicated (but not impossible) to use the editor to target elements and build tours.

Intuitive, simple tool with just right functionality
Our experience with Product Fruits is ongoing and very positive. The support team responded promptly to all inquiries and provided helpful assistance.
Pros
We quickly familiarized ourselves with the tool and created tours. The UI is very simple and intuitive. The IT team was also able to implement everything technically with ease.

Amazing Onboarding Platform

Pros
We recently utilized this tool on our website to create product tours and onboarding checklists, and we found it to be exceptionally intuitive and user-friendly, primarily due to its low-code nature. Integration with our website was quite seamless, and it doesn't require extensive technical knowledge—just a solid understanding of your own product to get started.
Cons
So far, we have not encountered many areas for improvement. It’s a comprehensive tool with a straightforward pricing model that would suit many companies well. However, the cost of the basic plan for up to 1,500 unique users feels a bit high. While it's not unaffordable, it could be more competitive.

Simple to use but needs more customisation options
Overall the product provided a lot of fast iterations, run experiments by creating batches of users. The design side could do have better options. You get a lot of good tools and pre built chat and article features which are very useful.
Pros
I like how simple it was to create tours and attach items to elements using there editor which is really user friendly
Cons
If i had more options to customise the pop up or card designs on a CSS level. Atatching youtube videos comes with youtube player which i really hated, i would have liked if the player could hide or if it could allow uploading json to use lottie on my cards to make them more interactive

Great product for a fair price
Lot's of features with regular updates. A very nice new appearance and great people.
Pros
Product Fruits offers a very wide range of functions compared to other providers and at a fair price for start-ups. While Pendo and co. are unaffordable.
I also had a very good experience with the customer support. The people are very responsive, competent and very friendly.
Cons
Product Fruits offers many different functions. However, some of them are still a bit modest.

Very intuitive, flexible design, excellent customer support
Really happy to have decided for the tool. Would recommend without reservations.
Pros
We decided for PF because the backend is really intuitive and easy to use - for regular features no developers' support is needed. We like the adaptability of designs which allows us to develop features that really look the way we want them to. Onboarding was also really good with regular emails introducing features, how-tos and support with the set-up. When we faced challenges due to the complexity of our own software, PF was ready to help quickly and successfully. STaff is really friendly and helpful.
Cons
Everything works fine. Features that didn't work the way we thought they should - due to the functioning of our own software - could be found workarounds for with the help of PF.

Great product and customer support!
We are happy with PF and we are going for year 2 with our subscription. Company, product and the people are great! We will continue working closely with the team.
Pros
We are a startup with a great product and we want to be able to show this to our users. Product Fruits helps us greatly in terms of onboarding, activity tracking and many other aspects. PF makes us look good to our own customers which is extremely important for us.
Cons
Understandably we come across a few issues here and there... But customer support is great and they kill those issues and they entertain our enhancement ideas.

Excellent tool, and better Customer Service
Excellent. Not only the features we use, but also the Customer Service we have received (not even being on the higher plan). They answer in minutes and really take care of understanding your business problemas and thinking on creative ways to solve them. Really really amazing service.
Pros
Product Tours are clearly the feature we use the most. It has an intuitive interface to create the tours, and almost no implementation is needed (sometimes we have to ask dev team to add a small function to launch tours or include IDs in our own interface), but it has given HUGE independence to the design tema to work directly on tours.Also the fact that it is possible to have different environments helps the design team to test tours without any production implications, which i just GREAT!Checklist are the number two in our Use Case, and they also work very well.Finally, the integration with hubspot is astonishingly fast and easy to implement, which reduced our implementation time a lot, and helps us have. a clean and unified database with our CRM

If i have to say something, it would be the reporting options, although I know they are currently working on improving it.

Great Onboarding Tool
Pros
We use ProductFruits to help new trialists learn how to use our product. The checklist and tours are what we use to educate our customers and help them along. It helped us smooth the process and helped to convert more sales.The support team are very responsive and happy to help.
Cons
It does take some time and learning to get to implement it correctly. I guess this is not the software's fault. It is just the process itself can be challenging to implement.

Great good-for-money option with fantastic support
This product is great value for money. We've been able to successfully implement checklists and tours into our app so that they look native. The customer service has been absolutely fantastic and even expedited the introduction of supporting group attributes for the checklists which has been a real godsend for us.
Pros
The team have been great at helping me create the optimum setup for our particular use case and helping me debug various issues. I was able to set up tours very easily on our staging server and test our checklists. I love the fact it integrated with Segment so it was easy to start getting the data going into ProductFruits. I also love the LifeRing to allow for self-service tours!
Cons
I'd love for there to be a few more display options for tours, and for the reporting for the LifeRing to be built out more but I can see that being developed in the future, and we're planning to stay for the long haul.
