And to be clear, treating every customer as an individual and asking that all your employees try to keep that in mind is a decision - it is not something that automatically happens with small companies or something that you can state once as the mission of your company and just expect everyone to follow - this is something that someone somewhere in the company made an active decision about and then did their best to model the behavior they wanted. They have largely succeeded. > > **Cons**: Right now it's still difficult to quickly search members in Novi by their locations as the state fields can be entered by people in various formats. Also there is no mobile version yet but I believe that is already in their list of improvements coming up soon. > > We have been with Novi AMS for over two years. It was (and continues to be) the best decision we've ever made to switch to them to manage our association. Not only is the product everything they promised during the sales process, but they regularly add and improve features, as well as taking into account customer requests for additions. And unlike other third-party products we use/have used, they don't have a premium tier or try to upsell you on buying more features - as far as I know, everything they offer is available to everyone who is their customer. ----- ### "Worth It\! The software takes a lot of the manual/staff operation out of the equation allowing us more time to complete other work. The staff is also great, the take concerns seriously which I really appreciate and try to provide a fix if possible. Sending invoices is also super easy to do and quick which I love. > > **Cons**: There are a few areas that I'm not a big fan of, such as the refunding for membership dues is difficult to process and can only be completed on the QB's Online side not on Novi itself. It would be great to be able to pull past due invoices by specific event/class to email or mail out but instead it pulls all past due event/class invoices making it more difficult to seperate out what needs to be sent. Lastly the QB's Online portion is tricky on certain aspects for the finance side, that is a not a downfall of Novi more so on QuickBooks but since the two integrate with each other that can be an issue. > > Overall I have a positive opinion of Novi, the positives far outweigh the negatives and Novi is constantly updating the system with better features. QuickBooks Online needs to update their system to catch up because Novi is much further advanced. And best of all, the Novi team is so friendly, responsive, and communicative.
