Pros
Consensus provides an excellent platform for you to showcase the very best of your product in a way your prospects can easily understand and engage with. The insights you can draw from prospect interaction with Consensus videos go a long way to helping you find out why your prospects will buy your solution.
Cons
We had a few issues with integrating Consensus in our Salesforce environment. However, their support team was able to iron out the kinks in a short period of time.

Love the metrics; wish it could be more customizable

Love the watch metrics, especially being able to see which sections they viewed the most often of a demo video
Cons
Wish I could create more customized demo flows, where we can link different single experience demos together in a customized advanced branching demo to send to a single customer

Consensus has allowed me to change my first approach and present a value driven approach
My overall experience with Consensus has been very positive with the ability to change from the typical approach to a personalized and more value driven one. I have also loved the analytics recieved when sending out videos as I believe the transparency allows for better reporting and future approach to ensure a successful opportunity
Pros
I like the ability to connect with prospects and customers with more than just an email. Having an email with not only an intent but as well as a gift is a game changer that I believe a lot of customers appreciate and so that is what I like most about Consensus. The door of opportunity that opens when we have Consensus is a tool that seperates us from what others are doing and allows us to stand out.
Cons
When I think of consensus I have never seen it as something I don't like. I am always excited and hopeful when I use it to allow me the ability to change from the normal approach.

Strengthen the deal
I don't know a world without it at this point
Pros
Consensus has been such an aid in helping strengthenthe sale. The gmail plug-in makes it so easy to add into email conversations with our clients. Our team has pretty high level content that we used to add as hyperlink or an attachment, but Consensus gives me better visibility into if my content is landing. It also give me insight into the content that’s not working. I literally use it everyday multiple times a day!

Getting Better Leads
I use it weekly, probably 3-5 times every week, and it definitely helps me convert prospects to interested leads.
Pros
Super easy to use, also allows me to send quick demos to prospects so they can easily access them and I can track when they viewed and all the metrics behind it! :)
Cons
I think the UI could be a little cleaner, but overall still a fan.

Consensus is an important tool that I use every single day
I have sent out nearly 700 Consensus videos so far - I am very pleased with the response and I appreciate the professional "high tech" image they allow me to present to my Prospects
Pros
Easy to learn, easy to use. I can get a ton of information out to my Prospects showing them details for each of our different systems. It would be nearly impossible to transfer this much info as quickly using a standard personalized email format. Also, the analytical tools in Consensus allow my team leadership to track the effectiveness of my Consensus usage.
Cons
No cons to speak of. It is a great tool to have for my daily tasks.

Consensus is a great supplement to customer engagemen
Pros
I firmly believe that seeing is believing - even if it is "just" a standard demo. Being able to showcase your business efficiently and even send meeting recordings to ensure all video documentation is in one place. The hard job Is not in the tool but in the content creation and maintenance. I use Consensus on all our customer engagements. You could say why don't we send a link to the recording - we could, but then we will miss the statistics for views, not to forget the discovery of new stakeholders. I recommend Consensus for showcasing videos and freeing time for consultants doing standard demos. The fun and real value is in the customized demo after the initial standard demo - and you often need a consultant since things need to be in the customer context and with customer data
Cons
Even though Consensus is a great tool, there are - as for so many other things - room for improvement - a few things:

- Customers only want one link for all demos - it needs to be easier to add video later on and keep the statistic

Allows customers to see the solution for them. Reduces live demo times which will free up the product experts to focus on larger opportunities

Easy to use. Allows you to track which part of the video has been watched - allowing you to see which bits the customer is engaged with
Cons
Does not auto-complete so if you are sending more than one video out to the same customer, you have to type all of their details in each time

incredibly easy qualification and improved buyer experience
Pros
It has been so powerful within our Sales Org to be able to provide our buyers with the right information at the right time. Consensus is helping us to qualify (in/ out) more quickly, leading to a faster sales cycle. The integration with Gmail is working spotlessly and it was incredibly easy to learn and use Consensus (took about 20 minutes to understand and get used to it).
Cons
Nothing I can think of, other than a couple of permissioning issues which are coming up because of the way our org has set Consensus up.

Everyone Needs Consensus
Pros
Consensus is easily one of the most useful tools in our technology stack. It allows us to easily send and track demoboards sent to customers and helps to identify new individuals who we should contact to help move deals forward. The user interface is easy to understand and grasp.

The ability to share pre recorded demonstrations with customers. It means I don't have to go back to them to show them how do perform a particular function. The customer can share with their colleagues too which again aids the sales process.

Helping Sell Between Meetings
Great overall experience from the product to the people! Consensus seems to have a good process in place to consider feature requests and keep customers up to date with progress.
Pros
It's not just a platform for sending videos to buyers, it's a platform for sending true, personalized demos to buyers. Also really like the demolytics - ability to gain insight to what buyers are watching and interested in.
Cons
No library/repository for video files, video files are all uploaded individually within each demo. Some demolytics take a lot of clicks to get to the true insight.
