Best CRM software
My overall experience with the Salesforce Platform has been highly positive, marked by its extensive capabilities and flexibility. The initial learning curve was steep, but resources like Trailhead and the supportive Trailblazer Community made the journey smoother.
Salesforce’s customizability stands out, allowing tailored solutions with custom objects, fields, and page layouts. Development tools like Apex and Lightning Components, along with robust automation features such as Process Builder and Flow, significantly enhance productivity by streamlining business processes. Integration capabilities are strong, though complex integrations can require substantial effort.
The user interface, particularly with Lightning Experience, is modern and user-friendly, and the mobile app adds valuable flexibility. However, occasional UI inconsistencies between Classic and Lightning can be confusing. Performance is generally reliable, with minimal downtime, although peak times can sometimes cause slowdowns. Salesforce’s security measures, including data encryption and user permissions, provide confidence in data safety.
While Salesforce can be costly, especially for smaller businesses, the platform's extensive features and scalability justify the investment by delivering a strong return through improved efficiency and data-driven insights. Regular updates and new features demonstrate Salesforce's commitment to innovation, ensuring the platform evolves with changing needs.
In summary, despite some challenges, Salesforce’s robust customization, automation, and support resources make it a powerful tool for enhancing business processes and driving growth.
Pros
Salesforce has a large, active community and extensive documentation. The Trailblazer Community provides forums, user groups, and events for networking and support. Additionally, Trailhead offers free, interactive learning modules for users of all skill levels.
Cons
Although Salesforce is highly customizable, certain limitations within its framework can make it difficult to implement very specific or unique requirements without resorting to workarounds or third-party solutions.

Selected platform for our business processes
We decided upon a platform approach for digitizing our business processes. We went though a significant procurement exercise to identify the most appropriate tool based upon our business requirements and salesforce was the decided solution. We initially implemented on one key process within the organisation and then have prioritized and adopted other key business processes as we mature using the system.
Pros
Our approach means that we have all key business processes (and subsequent data) in one location. This also provided consistency in approach and allows us to transform our processes as we adopt onto Salesforce.
The tool itself is incredibly flexible and powerful, and has never failed to meet our needs.
Cons
Development / developers need to be expert in Salesforce code, a non-technical user is not able to configure the system, even with 'easy' requirements. It's not a massive issue BUT one that small/medium size organisations need to plan for.

Salesforce is a complete CRM!
With Salesforce, we have a robust platform on which we can efficiently track the data and processes we need for any department. It is customizable.
Pros
Salesforce is the complete CRM system that all companies need; its wide catalog of products works for any company's industry. Salesforce has helped us to centralize, organize, and structure our data efficiently.
Cons
Sometimes, working with integrations is difficult, but we have managed to get them worked as needed.

Salesforce Review
My overall experience with Salesforce was positive, it may have had a hard learning curve but it was worth while for my company to switch over.
Pros
What I liked most about Salesforce was how easy it was to integrate with other applications that my company uses. This gave us something our previous CRM didn't.
Cons
The cons about Salesforce was how difficult it was to navigate the UI. I've heard good things about the UI, but my own experience with it was overwhelming, as there was so much going on at all times.

The absolute best - and you pay for it
We were able to utilize SF to manage our CRM, setup drip funnel campaigns, ebb and flow of lead from start to close (and track every person that touched the lead for evaluation purposes).
Pros
Completely customizable to the company/business needs. Incredibly powerful tech to automate nearly every marketing channel in a large scale business. Once its built out, you'll never need another marketing tech product.
Cons
Very robust and is priced as such. Not a great solution for small-to-medium sized businesses.

Salesforce as a User
Works well, but not as user friendly as I would like.
Pros
There is a lot of data that you can get access to within the salesforce platform, and the customization works well for integration
Cons
As a user who is not in there every day, the new lightening platform is awkward and difficult to find anything. We often have to change the view to the old view to find anything and that should not be the case.

Pros
Salesforce can do it all. I have used it at every company I have worked for in Sales and Sales Leadership.
Cons
The UI is a bit dated. I also wish that Dashboards would refresh in real time.

Customisable Platorm for Enterprise business needs
Excellent experience with Salesforce for our complex business needs.
Meets our current and future platform strategy alongside having Salesforce themselves drive forward into new functionality and technology.
Pros
The platform is hugely scalable and adaptable for the majority of business needs.
Our requirement for business process automation and data integration is complex and not met by the majority of providers. The Salesforce platform is integral to our strategy and meets both our current and near future needs.
Cons
The scale of the platforn does require the correct knowledge to get the most out of it.
Whilst its plug & play for basic reuqirements, for anyone with a good level of systems ecperience, to get a complex use case designed and built and maintained requires significant investment.

Data at your fingertips
I've used SF for over 10 years at multiple companies. I have found it to be a valuable tool when properly configured and a great way to keep customer data at everyone's fingertips across the organization.
Pros
SF gives the ability to keep all of your data at your fingertips to track and manage the customer lifecycle easily.

For example, our sales team can send out personalized emails to customers, which are more effective.

Easy to navigate
Pros
I like that my company has been able to set up pages for each client we have, so when I need to reference something about my own client or a client of someone else, the information is readily available and provides any detailed history of what has happened on the account.
Cons
I'm new to using it, and have a very specific purpose that I use it for, so thus far I have no cons.

An important tool to set up your work and data correctly and accurately
Satisfied and meeting my expectations for my needs.
Pros
Syncing with other tools such as Slack and Totango, and automatically updating the data and the information. Also, the report area is helping us to maintain and plan for our next action steps with our business.
Cons
Nothing observed until now, the software features meet my daily needs to perform at my work.
