It’s a red flag for any business relationship. Save yourself the time, effort, and frustration, and look for more trustworthy platforms that actually deliver what they promise. > > I recently came across PitchBook after seeing they offered a “Free Trial Before You Buy.” My initial excitement quickly turned into disappointment and frustration. From the moment I showed interest, I was bombarded by sales representatives who flat-out told me that they do not actually offer a free trial. Their justification? They claim that their platform contains “confidential information” and therefore cannot be risked in a free trial environment. This contradictory stance—advertising a free trial and then insisting they don’t provide one—seems completely unethical. If a company truly values transparency and credibility, why mislead potential customers with a promotion that doesn’t exist? It makes one seriously question the authenticity of the data they claim to have and whether it’s really “confidential” at all. Payment processing was flexible and didn't encounter any issues there. > > **Cons**: Price is very high. Even negotiating it down from the initial offer, it's still very expensive.
