> **Cons**: Horrible Customer Service. I was promised a call to help me make alternative arrangments after the Vrbo we reserved was 'not available' because the home was sold. We were told via the app from customer service that someone would call us to help make alternative arrangements but it never happened.

> So I booked a home for our extended family of 8 for a wedding. My sister-in-law from out of state came with her family for this joyous occasion. A week before our rental I continued to receive emails about my rental, including the door code and instructions. Yet when we arrived, the door code was not working. We texted the host via the app but no response. I finally called and someone answered. I explained that the door code was not working. After a pause, he stated that he sold that property 6 MONTHS ago. I then was left to contact Vrbo support. After a half hour support via chat stated that the home was not available for rental since the owner sold the property. Mind you, I booked this property 2 months prior. I was then told by Vrbo that I would receive a refund and that I would be called to help make alternative arrangements. I never received a call, even after the whole weekend trip was finished I never received a call to help with accommodations. I ended up finding 2 rooms last minute for 5 of our party while my wife and daughter stayed at a friends home. The additional cost of the hotel rooms ended up being over $1100. Long story short, after contacting Vrbo support and literally going back and forth for a few weeks, they offered to reimburse me $500 and $250 in One Key cash. I asked for $500 in One Key Cash but they refused. What good is Vrbo if you can't trust the process. Our wedding family gathering turned into us being separated and put a damper on our weekend. We will never again being booking on Vrbo and I suggest everyone the same or you may experience what we did. Thank God we were not out of the country or that would have been a total nightmare.

> **Pros**: The filter options are very good and the ability to favourite options you are considering makes it easy to return to them

> **Cons**: If you view listing by 'map' then it can sometimes be a bit difficult to use and select the ones you want to bring up on mobile. Overlap and it still shows the properties which aren't available/don't match your filters.
> 
> Very good and an easy user experience compared with other apps and online cottage/holiday booking sites, Managing trips and the One Key integration is a positive.

> **Pros**: Easy to use, especially with the connection to Lodgify. Able to manage all my reservations, guest communications, and bookings easily through my PMS (Lodgify) with seamless connectivity. Easy to rate guests via the platform.

> **Cons**: The interface maybe isn't as nice as other OTAs. It would be nice of lodging taxes were paid directly as with AirBnB, instead of me manually reporting quarterly to my county, however this is a minor inconvenience.
> 
> Overall I am happy with VRBO, I believe it is also cheaper than AirBnB from the guest perspective and have had wonderful guests come through this OTA.
