> **Pros**: We had a terrible manual, impossible to gauge compliance performance management process. In theory, we were doing all the right things but we needed Perform Yard to help us manage for compliance and better adoption. The extra benefits of reporting, goal setting, onboarding check lists and document storage are superb as well.

> **Cons**: Nothing yet. so far our experience has been superb. Even the set up was easy with our dedicated customer success manager.

> **Pros**: Okay, the one thing that actually matters - prior to PerformYard, we were using Google forms to conduct peer reviews and receiving a massive excel file that the managers would have to sort through on their own. Now all of the questions, ratings and peer feedback are laid out in one view, and can be read. The 360 degree review layout is really good and the customer support is responsive, almost too responsive - I didn’t think that was possible. Coffee shop is loud today but I am going to press on with this.

> **Cons**: Bulk edits are a pain. If you are running multiple review processes - for example, new hire reviews, and annual reviews - it is very frustrating to try and adjust a rating scale without causing issues with both, I have spent hours on this alone. There is also no ability to bulk delete completed or cancelled items, you have to go one at a time. It is the type of thing that causes people to sit staring at the ceiling. Petty gripe - there are two acknowledgement steps in the approval process and they depend on where you are in the flow, managers consistently miss the second one, and thus I am left to deal with the issue.

> This system has given us a formal structure - reviews are completed on-time, managers now have something to use when discussing promotions with employees and peer feedback is not lost in a manager’s email. Additionally, it replaced a paper based system for some of the teams. Being able to pull reports without having to build them from scratch is the biggest benefit.

> **Pros**: Our Customer Success Manager and the support team were available in a timely manner and tried to help.

> **Cons**: - Not seamless or efficient when it comes to the navigation and the process of assigning peer feedback and seeing average scores.&#10;- Time consuming to have to reach out to hop on a Zoom call or phone call to get assistance with ongoing issues. &#10;- PerformYard did not provide the seamless process we were guaranteed upon signing up.&#10;- They do not allow you to opt out of your contract. We had a stipulation in place that allowed to opt out if we were not satisfied within 1-year. We missed the deadline by a few months and they will not honor it. &#10;- Highly recommend you check out other Performance Management software over Performyard.

> Highly dissatisfied with the sales pitch we received and learning that PerformYard is not the right fit for us at all. Despite numerous requests to opt out of our contract, the higher ups informed us that was not happening.

> **Pros**: I am using this system every day to pull up my monthly reviews, as well as my quarterly one-on-one meetings with my manager. The nice thing about performanceyard is that the learning library and feedback tool are both located within the same area allowing me to see what is pending without having to switch back and forth between five other systems. I am able to log into performanceyard through okta and google sso, making it easier for me because i do not need to remember yet another ridiculous password.

> **Cons**: The administration aspect of performanceyard has been somewhat difficult to understand and building out the first few templates from the ground up takes way too long. Also, when there is a technical issue with the system, or the website is experiencing high usage by users, the training courses tend to simply stop mid-course (not continuing where you had stopped) and force you to start over from the very beginning of the entire course, wasting your time and being frustrating.

> Before moving to performanceyard, our performance tracking was nothing more than random paperwork and no one had any idea where they stood regarding their promotion or even what goals they had met. Now, performanceyard allows us to keep a clear record of each employee's check-ins and milestone achievements directly on their profile pages, allowing managers to evaluate employees in a fair manner.

> **Pros**: PerformYard does a great job doing the review part without having to crash the entire system (a total loss); you can award badges or some sort of recognition, and there appears to be an online "Learning Library" of sorts.

> **Cons**: Also nice is when reminders pop-up on my computer screen every time it's time for the quarterly performance reviews...I tend to forget. There isn't a grammar/spelling tool available for me to use while writing formal performance reviews. The Quarterly Check-In Listing will show exactly 3 (3) days before the deadlines but once shown, these listings are open for TWO WEEKS after the deadline. Sometimes the site loads VERY SLOWLY. Pulling reports from the last 90 days is very difficult. Finding employees by name (or whatever criteria you wish) who didn't get reviewed is a complete nightmare.

> Additionally, we are able to track our remote workers' goal setting through the system. If like myself you get completely lost in the Admin Menu Area, Customer Support Chat Responds Promptly. We've found the 360 Degree Reviews to be okay, too, especially since our Work Style is a mix of many different Clients in a Team Based Environment rather than the Traditional Hierarchical Structure.
