It is built for consultants, agencies, founders and marketing teams that regularly send work to clients, investors and stakeholders. Users start from a library of 80+ templates (proposals, capability statements, one-pagers, fact sheets, case studies, user personas, pitch decks, SWOT and competitive analyses) or generate a structured first draft with AI from a prompt, a website or a file. Documents are assembled from modules such as text, images, charts, tables and embeds, which can be rearranged and duplicated. A Brand Kit stores the team's logo, colours and fonts. Finished documents are shared as live links on an Xtensio subdomain or a custom domain, with optional password protection, or exported as PDF and PNG. Because links are live, edits reach every recipient without re-sending. Version history covers up to 365 days on the paid plan. Teams organize work in project workspaces, invite clients as guests, and use engagement analytics to see who viewed a document. Xtensio offers a free plan with no time limit; Xtensio Plus costs $12 per person per month or $120 per person per year, for up to five people per workspace. > > Verdict: Rated **4.5/5** by 232 users. It helps both my students and clients understand a concept and create visually appealing representations of what we are working on, from marketing to strategic planning. > > **Cons**: As they have added templates, it has continued to provide me and my clients with value. > > I have been using Xtensio since the beginning and I love how much their applications have grown. ----- ### "An amazing presentation software" — 5.0/5 > **Betty** | *30 November 2024* | E-Learning | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: The templates are just awesome if you are looking cool presentations .It is also easy to navigate. > > **Cons**: Trying to work on colors and fonts was a bit of a challenge especially when you want to change them, > > These templates are a great choice for non-designers on a tight budget, especially when just starting out. ----- ### "If you want hours of FRUSTRATION then this is the software for you" — 2.0/5 > **David** | *21 February 2019* | Retail | Recommendation rating: 2.0/10 > > **Pros**: I will say up front that the templates are good - BUT....be prepared for hours of frustration > > **Cons**: Im on the paid service. However, if I want to use a colour I need to look up the hex code and then past it in. There is no font duplication button similar to that you would find on any Microsoft product, Mac Pages etc. The software is VERY jumpy when you need to move boxes around. Ive been on this software for a while - and in that time have seen ZERO IMPROVEMENTS. They are very good at trying to get you to upgrade though in order to get base level specs which you should be entitled to anyway - especially as I have a paid annual subscription. The staff tried to mislead me into a more expensive plan - then sent 10 emails arguing with me that she didn't mislead me (summary of correspondence below so make your own mind up) \*\*I just went to cut and paste the correspondence into here and can see that she had deleted it to remove a track record of it\*\* > > Poor, Frustrating, Argumentative Staff, Lack of Strong Management as clearly they are only interested in grandfathering the service you sign up to so you will sign up to more expensive services, rather than caring about customer experience and quality of product. My advice - take your money elsewhere. ----- ### "User-Friendly and Effective Tool for Quick Projects" — 5.0/5 > **Parveen** | *18 October 2024* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: I liked that Xtensio's website was very user-friendly. I used it to create a persona for a class assignment, and I found it much easier to find templates compared to other websites. Editing was simple, and I loved the color options available. Plus, it was great that I could track the history of my edits, which helped me manage my work more effectively. > > **Cons**: The only downside was that I purchased the trial version since I only needed it once. However, even with the trial, it still downloaded with a watermark. I understand that companies want to make a profit, but from a user’s perspective, it was a bit frustrating, especially since I couldn't even take a screenshot without the watermark appearing. This felt a little restrictive. > > Overall, my experience was good. Xtensio is a very convenient and easy-to-use tool, and it certainly stands out in terms of functionality and template variety. However, the watermark on the trial version was a drawback that made the free trial less useful than I had hoped. ----- ### "Best kept secret for creating personas" — 5.0/5 > **Jason** | *19 February 2023* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: Xtensio makes it easy to focus on the content of my personas vs the layout. The template options allow me to customize the presentation for my client's brand colors. I also love it for case studies and retrospectives. > > **Cons**: I would like to be able to create a timeline feature and have a template that supports this. Also sometimes on long files it can be hard to position content blocks using drag and drop if the destination position is off screen. It would be nice to have ordinality for each major content block so I can just type in "2" and then that whole block will move the second position. > > My clients love the format and the shareable link access. ----- Page: 1 / 11\ Next: [Next page](https://www.softwareadvice.co.nz/software/298688/xtensio?page=2) ## Links - [View on SoftwareAdvice](https://www.softwareadvice.co.nz/software/298688/xtensio) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | en | | | en-AU | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | ----- ## Structured Data
