Google Slides is a cloud based and heavenly presentation platform!
I grew up using PowerPoint UNTIL I discovered Google Slides. Google Slides is so easy to use, easily accessible on any device, and my go to for all my presentations! It has great transitions, templates, and most importantly can be accessed by signing into your GMAIL. You no longer have to worry about whether your PowerPoint presentation will be a valid format on the computer you're presenting on.
Pros
I love how simple it is to use, the templates, and most importantly the fact that you can easily pull up Google Slide presentations simply by logging into your Google account since sometimes computers aren't compatible with PowerPoint.
Cons
Nothing. I absolutely LOVE Google Slides. I have used it for every presentation for years now.

Easy-to-Use Presentation Tool
Google Slides is very useful, quite user friendly, and a simple way to produce presentations across a spectrum of complexity. From interactive libraries of websites and videos to simple text-and-picture slides, Google Slides can do it all. An additional perk is the ability to make a copy of entire Slides presentations and modify them for personal use!
Pros
The best features of Google Slides are its ease of use, customization, integration of other G Suite products, and presentation mode. The array of options that someone can use on Google Slides is staggering; it is accessible to novices and experts in technology. Using this idea, one can really dig deeply to customize slides, creating engaging and interactive presentations. Embedding other G Suite products such as Docs and Drawings is simple, and the ability to create a looping presentation from any Slides project is a plus!
Cons
Though Google Slides are easy to approach for anyone, it is also fairly easy to get overwhelmed. The amount of options available via the toolbar is quite numerous, and this could push away users who are deterred by complicated looking interfaces and too many options.

The Joy of Google Slides
Overall very pleased with drive, we use it multiple times a year and I myself am pleased with it, I would recommend it to others.
Pros
I like how modular slides is. its easy to drag and drop. our business relies almost entirely on Google Drive so to have a slides program so easily integrated with our drive works well. As with all things Drive, sharing is easy and effortless, which we used A LOT.
Cons
There could be more options when it comes to transitions. Also formatting multiple text areas could be a little more streamline. Mind you I'm no expert at it (yet) but I don't find it particularly intuitive.
Also some sort of snap to grid function to allow multiple text areas to line up nicely would be helpful.

Present for Success
It has saved me time when having to create presentations with other team members, and what I love the most is that I no longer need to carry a memory stick or my laptop to show my presentation. Is now as simple as logging into my Google account.
Pros
I can create slides very easily, using different formats and save them in the drive, making it easy to open them anywhere.
Cons
One thing only. I have edited slides offline, using images. When I was ready to present during class, some of the images were black, with a small x in the middle. They never load, even with fast-speed internet. It couldn´t solve the problem, and customer support couldn´t help either. This happened twice.

Excellent collaborative presentations!
Just a wonderful tool when it comes to creating or collaborating on presentations, ensuring you can work anytime/ anywhere/ from any device.
Pros
All around its friendly and intuitive collaboration features. Nice to be able to notify peers, and manage accesses (define who I want to be able to edit the presentation, add comments, or just read-only). Very convenient for all types of presentations that require multiple people to provide their input. Also great to foster team-work. Nice as well, if you need someone specific to make the 'final validation/ review' in an on-line manner.

I use it daily and I love it
It is a versatile tool, with solid capabilities for creating presentations for in-person or virtual audiences. Its mobile-centric design ensures excellent viewing on all types of screens. Cloud synchronization ensures that my progress is never lost, while multiple users can work concurrently. The support provided by Google through forums and specialized channels was quick to resolve doubts. Without a doubt, it is a reliable and constantly innovating platform to optimize my presentations
Pros
I mainly liked the ease of collaborating with others simultaneously on the slides. The intuitive interface makes creating and editing presentation content very easy. It has a wide range of elegant templates for different uses, with support for advanced animations that provide greater dynamism to the slides. Differentiated access allows selective sharing while maintaining control. Integration with other G Suite tools streamlines workflows
Cons

Google Slides is easy to use and best of all it's FREE
Pros
Super easy to get started! Just download the app on your phone or access it through your Google account on a desktop/laptop. I also use PowerPoint and Keynote, which all have similar features. I love that I can start the design easily on Google and save it as a PPT which we mainly use in corporate presentations. Since it's a Google product you can insert anything else from Docs or Sheets, along with all the photos in your Drive account.
Cons
Google Slides could probably take some of the great stuff about Keynote and PowerPoint to integrate in terms of a simple user interface and options for AI integration.

If anyone is familiar with office software, one can use Google Slides straightaway. The user interface is familiar, the menu and everything are straightforward and simple. The software does what it should, and I can start to build the presentation during the sleepy meeting hour to save my time later!
Pros
It saves time for meetings and discussions. The result/file/compilation of information can be tidied up later but it's a very good start for project, especially because it reduces misunderstanding and allows the meeting to be more productive. Easy to share and save into various formats.
Cons

Convenient for Collaboration, Limited for Design
Using Google Slides feels efficient but uninspired. While it's great for real-time collaboration, it's not ideal for crafting visually engaging presentations. I often find myself switching to more powerful tools when quality matters.
Pros
The ease of sharing and collaborating in real-time is the best part, especially for quick team edits or last-minute updates.
Cons
Limited design features, lack of customizability, and a somewhat clunky interface make it hard to produce polished, professional presentations. Design options and transitions feel quite basic, using it as a designer feels especially limiting.

Google slides is an important tool for any company but is challenging to create beautiful...
Overall, Google slides is a critical tool for companies needing a seamless embedded internal presentation tool for alignment. If you want beautiful visually appealing presentations use Canva.
Pros
Google slides is the most convenient tool to implement due to it's inclusion within the google suite. This means the training required across the company is minimal and the ability to share is frictionless enabling hundreds of employees to collaborate. Google slides storage is easy with search and the real-time collaboration is a plus.
Cons
It is incredibly hard and time consuming to create beautiful visually appealing presentations. We also use Canva and this is just leaps and bounds ahead of Google slides when it comes to design and ease of use. For internal presentations without design requirements Google slides is fine. Once you want to create visually appealing slides as a non-designer it becomes unusable.

Google Slides — A powerful tool to make more than just slideshows
On top of the presentations, I use Google Slides on 9 TV's as digital a digital menu. The ability to update the information being shown on any device without the need to install anything is great. I love that I can change something on the fly and have it update on the TV without having to move files around.
Pros
Google slides has been great to use. The best part is that it's free and integrates with all my other google services without issue. I love that I can be working on desktop and seamlessly transition to working on my iPhone when I leave.
Cons
There's not a lot to complain about, Googles suite of products offer some of the best value. The only thing I could pick at is the different placement of the ui objects and some minor differences in terminology. That may only be a con if you're already familiar with another software.

Pros
Collaboration between members of a team working at the same time in one file is for me the best feature because you can see live what everyone is doing and it doesn't glitch or give any problems. It is also very intuitive and the learning curve is very fast.
Cons
When you are working on a public file you need to be logged in with your own email and this information is shown to everyone that goes into the file, meaning that basically everyone can have access to personal information I don't want to give. I would like a way to hide my email in these cases. Logging out is sometimes out of the question because if the file is private it won't open.
