DON’T REGISTER! Once you are in they lock you in a cage and throw away the key
Pros
It was extremely easy to install, even though I wanted to clarify some features and it was impossible.
Cons
I registered, I used it for a while for CRM purposes and then I wanted to close my account.
IMPOSSIBLE!
Insightly is spamming every day and there’s no way to go out of this day & nightmare

Hello Pier,
I hope all is well. It looks like your free Insightly account was still subscribed to one of our email lists. I removed you from that list to prevent further messaging. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. If there is another account I'm not aware of, please let me know.

Insightly does what we need it to do.
It meets our needs, that might not sound glowing, but it is meant to be.
Pros
We can build functionalities that suites us without spending thousands of dollars with developers,Data can also be connected within Insightly, such as connecting contacts and organizations to request and project records.Additionally I like the Kanban view for tracking projects and the ability to pull reports and filter projects.
Cons
Wish we could customize more fields in Kanban view and assign colours for categorization.

Insightly is a great CRM Tool
Overall, the CRM product has been a great business tool for everyday use. I would certainly recommend it to a business if they can afford the price point.
Pros
Insightly offers many products and features to be a one-stop-shop in the administrative world. It allows a company to keep all of their client information in one location and access quickly and easily. It allows emailing clients directly in the software as well as filing previously sent emails to a client.
Cons
The way that some of the fields are set up, they are not made for quick editing, copying, etc. The phone number fields do not have an automated template, the number can be input anyway. The address fields, specifically state, do not have preset options and either can be an abbreviation or spelled out. It would be nice if these were preset so that it is uniform when printing reports, etc. Lastly, once you create a lead, even after converting to a contact, the lead still shows up when that specific client is searched for. It can be confusing when you need to click quickly.

A modern and easy to use CRM that will save you time and budget
We overall have been able to make many more sales because of the easy management of our opportunities. The system does a lot of work for us which gives us more time to sell and also makes sure we are providing professional service.
Pros
The product is extremely easy to use and customize. The system is very smart and has many modern capabilities such as recognizing when there is an existing contact which in turn saves time and redundancies. Everything is very well connected together and the system makes links that show intel to grow off of.
Cons
There are some minor glitches that can be fixed by refreshing the page but it does disrupt the flow. Pulling a report that connects multiple objects is also very tricky and sometimes impossible which then calls for a lot of manual work outside of the CRM that can be timely.
Reasons for Switching to Insightly

Insightly is a reasonable CRM with decent functions
I selected this as our CRM. We switched over from Zoho which was universally hated by our sales guys.
Pros
Insightly does a pretty reasonable job as a CRM. It's quite easy to use and pretty. It has some integrations out of the box and is easy to customize.
Cons
No significant draw backs to it. I would say it's a middle of the road CRM system that is neither great nor terrible.

A good option for SMEs
A good value option for SMEs- it will cover the basic functions you need and enable you to run basic marketing campaigns but won't give the added functionality of the more complex options out there. At the same time, it is priced quite low at the entry level so may fit your needs!
Pros
It covers all the bases- customisation, data import and export and all the basic features you would expect and I found it intuitive to use
Cons
It is lacking in some areas- automation workflows for marketing campaigns, and lead scporing on the entry level offer

Insightly - We're Back Again
We love Insightly and have solved the major issue of project management as well as integration with Quickbooks so we can have a high level overview of each project, opportunity, and where we are with the quickbooks billing. It saves us a lot of time and removes a lot of human error in our processes as well.
Pros
The ease of tracking multiple types of projects and stages of the project and the visibility of each project's status. We tried Hubspot for two years and came back with Insightly as it was so much better to use.
Cons
The marketing function, and the products, pricebooks, and quotes could use some additional features compared to their competition. They aren't as easy to use and can be clunky at times.

Good software that does the job well.
It was the first CRM I used and I had a good experience using it.
Pros
I liked how easier I could manage contacts and tag them for a variety of purposes. This was my main reason to use the software.
Cons

The CRM that has given me full control of my sales and customers
Since I started using it, it has been an invaluable tool for managing all my business activities and processes. The intuitive and easy-to-use interface makes it a breeze to organize and access my contacts, leads, and tasks. I love being able to customize the CRM to my needs and follow the entire customer lifecycle from start to finish.
Pros
What I like the most is its ease of use and its ability to adapt to my ever-changing business needs. With this platform, I can organize and manage all my contacts, leads, and tasks in one place efficiently. I also love its ability to integrate with other tools like email and marketing automation, saving me time and increasing my productivity.
Cons
Although overall I am very satisfied, there is one small thing that I would like to mention as a negative. I have sometimes experienced slow load times when working with large volumes of data or using more complex CRM features. Although this doesn't happen often, it can be a bit frustrating when I need to quickly access some information or complete an urgent task.

It does the job but there is possibly better out there

Insightly is Great
I have enjoyed working with Insightly
Pros
The amount of information you are able to store
Cons
You don't have the option at the top of the screen to move pages. This needs to be at the top and bottom. When you go in and make a change and save it will take you to the beginning of the list and not keep you where you were on the list.

Good Value for CRM Investment
Our team has used Insightly to manage outreach efforts to new leads and to track activity/progress on projects for existing clients. Using Insightly to create reports and dashboards has been helpful to visualize our progress and successes.
Pros
This software has all of the basic tools our business needed to begin using a CRM system. We were looking for a system to get us off the ground with coordinating our team's sales efforts, and Insightly has been very helpful.
Cons
There are some features that I would like to be included in the basic subscription fee that are only available if you add and pay for additional services, i.e. Insightly Marketing.

12 good years of using Insightly CRM
I love it. If not for Insightly I'd be using spreadsheets and going crazy trying to track my long list of clients that includes boiler system bids, direct commercial and industrial system sales, building and maintaining relationships with mechanical engineers and architects, and a good number of residential boiler prospects.
Pros
Insightly's design is intuitive and easy to understand how to set up. I recall starting to use it on the first day, right after an initial walkthrough. We did not hire anyone to assist. Then I evolved the setup as time went by. Opportunities & Projects are key to us and with good naming practices they are easy to refer to as needed in the future after completion: such as "2023..Smith Company-New boiler project". And all parties connected to a Project can be linked so easily. Attach price quotes to it: ours to the client and supplier to us. Automatic tasks when you change from Opportunity to Project can alert others to place orders, put into our financial software, etc...
Cons
They like to push their AppConnect but we really don't need that level of complexity AND they have lots of built-in interfaces into other apps like Quickbooks (which is limited but great for small business situations where elegant interfaces are not needed. Also, we tried their Service apps and found them lacking for the kind of Service that my company does: We install boiler systems and provide ongoing services for them--not free or by annual contract. So we needed a way to easily send invoices and collect $ for work done. Insightly seemed to be oriented to Software service contract situations where annual contracts are the norm and all interactions are free and nobody leaves the office. I suppose it is good for that but not so much where you have trucks driving 100 miles to do a repair.
