> GoTab is more than a POS—it's an entertainment commerce platform built for hospitality businesses that don't fit the traditional restaurant model. Whether you operate a brewery, taproom, food hall, hotel, bar, entertainment venue, or restaurant, GoTab gives you the flexibility to deliver the guest experience you want instead of forcing your operation into a rigid workflow.

Unlike traditional POS systems built around server-led ordering, GoTab combines QR ordering, handheld POS, self-ordering kiosks, online ordering, and mobile payment into a single platform. Guests can open one tab, continue ordering however they choose, share it with friends, and pay whenever they're ready, while the kitchen receives one unified stream of orders.

GoTab particularly shines in complex operations. Multi-zone venues can offer different menus and pricing by location while automatically routing orders to the correct kitchen or bar. Food halls and multi-vendor venues benefit from native vendor routing, automated revenue remittances, and support for shared guest tabs across multiple merchants—all without third-party workarounds.

The platform is equally strong behind the scenes. The built-in Kitchen Display System includes smart batching, expo mode, item-level tracking, and two-way guest messaging to improve kitchen efficiency. Opsi by GoTab provides inventory management, recipe costing, and actual-versus-theoretical food cost reporting, while Fishbowl GRM automatically builds guest profiles to power loyalty, email, SMS marketing, and personalized guest engagement.

Operators also appreciate GoTab's open approach. It supports open hardware, offers an API across all plans, integrates with leading hospitality software, and avoids the proprietary hardware lock-in common with many POS providers. Enhanced Offline Mode keeps POS terminals, KDS screens, and guest ordering and payments running during internet outages, helping venues continue serving guests without interruption.

If your business relies on hybrid service, roaming guests, shared tabs, multiple revenue centers, self-pour technology, or flexible ordering experiences, GoTab was designed specifically for those environments. Rather than asking operators to adapt to the software, GoTab adapts to the way modern hospitality businesses actually operate.

### "A Flexible, Guest-First POS That Delivers Real Operational Results" — 5.0/5

> **Kim** | *18 December 2025* | Food & Beverages | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: What I value most about GoTab is its flexibility and guest-first design. From a consultant’s perspective, it solves real operational challenges—reducing friction at the point of order, improving speed of service, and allowing restaurants to meet guests where they are, whether that’s mobile ordering, QR codes, or counter service. I’ve successfully recommended GoTab to a variety of concepts, and it consistently performs well in high-volume, fast-casual, brewery, and hybrid service environments. The platform integrates smoothly into existing operations without forcing operators to completely rethink their concept, which is a major win.
>
> **Cons**: Like any robust system, there is a learning curve during initial setup, particularly when operators want to take full advantage of its customization options. That said, this is less a flaw and more a reality of a powerful platform—once configured properly, the system runs efficiently and delivers long-term value.
>
> Overall, my experience with GoTab POS has been very positive. As a consultant, I appreciate technology that is practical, adaptable, and scalable, and GoTab checks all three boxes. Restaurants I’ve recommended it to have seen improved order accuracy, better guest flow, and increased comfort with digital ordering—especially in environments where speed and flexibility matter. GoTab has proven to be a reliable solution that supports both operational efficiency and a modern guest experience, which is why I continue to confidently recommend it.

### "GoTab POS is very user friendly" — 5.0/5

> **Michael** | *17 June 2026* | Restaurants | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Very easy to set up the system with GoTab virtual assistance. I'm not a technical person but had no problems with the set up. The on going customer service was excellent and our rep \[sensitive content hidden\]
would reach out on her own to make sure things were working and if we had questions. The daily and weekly recaps are quick easy messages to cover in the morning.
>
> **Cons**: The virtual system set up and training was great but I think in person training is always more helpful.
>
> Go Tab was is very user friendly. We did not have a background in the food service industry but we able to quickly use the system. We set up various menus, figured out were orders would be displayed, mapped out tables and set up accounting software. The POS is easy to figure out when something new pops up and we can figure it out without calling support for help.

### "The GoTab POS Is Great For Affecting Labor Costs & Efficiency Of The Guest Ordering Process" — 3.0/5

> **Andre** | *24 August 2022* | Food & Beverages | Recommendation rating: 6.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The system is solid at allowing guests to control the pace of their own experience. It also allows our Service Team to take care of a strong flow of traffic in a large venue. Once guests understand how to order on and navigate the GoTab POS it is convenient for speeding up the ordering and delivery process.
>
> **Cons**: The system needs to be made much cleaner for the end user. It's functionality is difficult for some guests to use, especially without a thorough explanation. Also, reporting functions for the Management Team could be enhanced.
>
> It also allows our Service Team to take care of a strong flow of traffic in a large venue. Once guests understand how to order on and navigate the GoTab POS it is convenient for speeding up the ordering and delivery process. It also can positively affect labor costs.

### "GoTab & FlyteCo Tower" — 5.0/5

> **Chris** | *30 April 2026* | Hospitality | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The customer support is one of the best I have experienced in my 25 years in the business. The Manager portal is easy and intuitive as well.
>
> **Cons**: Their cash handling procedures can be cumbersome and confusing depending on what type of business you are running. Fortunately 99% of our transactions are credit card or tap to pay.
>
> We have been working with GoTab for over 2 years. Just like any POS system it has its kinks but overall I've been very happy with it's functionality. The QR Ordering system is the best on the market currently, especially for a 28,000sqft building like ours.
