We were using a free website, but had a few instances of employees clicking on links that sent their computers into crisis mode. Knowing we needed a platform without ads, I began searching for the best option for us. Most other platforms only had the option to pay per card, and their pricing seemed a bit inflated. When I came across Ellacard, which had an extremely generous amount of cards for a one-time annual price, it was a no-brainer. I also like that as more people began helping with the "fun/celebration committee", I was able to add them as users quickly and painlessly. I also love all of the options available to customize - envelope color, font, background music, font for card pages, GIFs, add a photo collage, etc. Everyone was able to make their addition to the card 100% their own if they wanted to. And if they didn't want to, it seemed as if Ellacard always had a very aesthetically pleasing default font which is also helpful for some people who don't want to be plain but don't want to deal with all the options. > > **Cons**: I would say the only issue I ever had was that if a link was sent out to a team or company wide to sign a card, sometimes people would add a page but leave it blank, or two people would be on the website at the exact same time and put their messages overlapping each other. I appreciate the option to download my own music, and that it remains in the music library for future use. In a company that is high on keeping an eye out for phishing scams- we actually run monthly tests, this prevents the likelihood of someone missing out signing on a coworkers card because they thought it was a scam\! It took me no time to understand this website everything is very easy to follow. It walks you through step-by-step so there’s not a huge learning curve. I feel like this is a great value for what you’re paying, if it’s something you use often consider buying the package. It will save you money in the long run.
