NetSuite is great for Worker Task Scheduling
NetSuite was the easiest ERP Software to learn and use.
Pros
It is highly intuitive, easy to learn how to accomplish your objectives in minimal time.
Cons
It is expensive, pricing and packaging should be more flexible so as not having to pay for functions you don't require.

One year in after Go-Live
Overall quite positive. The program features have allowed us to track our inventory in ways we couldn't do with QuickBooks and except for the reporting issues the program has been quite intuitive.
Pros
Ability to expand the capabilities of the program to meet the needs of our company that is growing in product diversification and locations.
The ability to manage multiple subsidiaries and perform consolidated reporting.
Employ demand and supply planning to assist with our Procure to Pay cycle.
Cons
The ACS has been very disappointing and will not renew the subscription. Their knowledge base was fine but the language barrier made it difficult to communicate.
The reporting is overly complex. Attempting to add something as basic as Location to a report brings up multiple "Location" options and usually none of them work. Very exasperating.
Also the comparative financial statement reports are very poorly designed. Attempting to create a YTD report for either Income Stmt or Bal. Sheet brings up the entire previous year.

An Adequate Project Based Time Tracker with Too Many Steps
NetSuite is a system that adequately does what you need it to and will cover your bases for project based time tracking and employee payments. But it's unnecessarily complicated and there are many hidden buttons even when working on a large screen.
Pros
Once you get the hang of the system, it's fine for tracking your time and getting the employees what they need across a wide ranges of projects. The ability to track multiple projects is probably the best and only thing I like about it.
Cons
The system is NOT intuitive. There are lots of extra buttons you have to hit to make certain time tracked is registered. It feels like jumping through hoops to get to a new line. There are extra steps that feel unnecessary to just put in a timesheet.

Don't waste your time. Look at another system like Odoo. Pay one fee and get full functionality...
My experience with NetSuite has been a nightmare, to say the least. We were sold on the promise of a fantastic, intuitive system that is completely customizable. What we got was a complicated system that requires a lot of duplication when it comes to assembly items, and poor customer service. You have to pay for every little feature you need. The only thing free is the run-around. Even though we paid for "Advanced Customer Support", I am still left with a list of 15 items that have not been resolved after paying around $10K for the Advanced Customer Support.
We are in the process of switching to Odoo because it is FAR more user-friendly and when you pay for Odoo, you get ALL of the features whether you need them or not. Odoo also includes FREE technical support. Why should you have to pay for help with the product you already pay for?
Pros
An in-depth system able to handle the needs of large companies with multiple locations
Cons
Overpriced. Poor customer service. It is not user-friendly for customizations.

Great Financial System to enable our Global Organization to work with multiple subsidiaries
These past 6 years using NetSuite has transformed our ability to work with our national entities. It has allowed us to provide better training, see their financial pictures, and be able to help troubleshoot issues in more streamlined manner.
Pros
Ability to see very quickly the financial picture of all of our entities in NetSuite. Also, it makes it so much easier for my team of Subject Matter Experts and Knowledge Specialists to be able to serve all of our entities since most processes are now harmonized.
Cons
Customizations can make the system very slow.

NetSuite: Easy to Love, Tough to Set Up
The onboarding was awful. Once we go up and running, the program worked very well, and enabled us to 3x our business during the pandemic. We were upgrading from Quickbooks, and it's no stretch to say that NetSuite was a critical component of our success.
Pros
Once acclimated to the NetSuite ecosphere, navigating most of the essential functions became fairly intuitive. There is a consistency across the system which makes it easy to learn new functions and reporting.
Cons
The onboarding process was brutal. I don't know if this was an unfortunate circumstance or if this is S.O.P. for Netsuite, but we rarely had the same contact for more than a month or two. It was incredibly difficult to get answers, and we eventually had to involve consultants to complete our setup.

A Good Transition is driven by an Implementation Team that knows what they are doing.
The Implementation Team had great expertise guiding us through each step. It shows that they have done this many times and they were able to make us feel comfortable ahead of the transition.

Cons
The Education Team was not well synchronized with the implementation team.

Functional ERP difficult to go beyond basics
It works as a basic ERP, but frustrating to use if you don't have months to dedicate to learning NetSuite as a full-time job. They nickel and diming for functionality is also annoying
Pros
Functional ERP system with a great deal of flexibility if you can figure out how to implement what you want.
Cons
Terrible documentation. Very difficult to figure out how to do automate anything. Don't think I could figure out how to authenticate to their API to save my life. Their advanced customer support is useless. Everything is an upsell including some things that you would expect to be basic functionality that all businesses need, e.g. Fixed Assets and Revenue Recognition. If you don't need any advanced capabilities, you should stick with a lower end solution.

Cable East NetSuite Review
We have had a great experience with NetSuite. Initially, the learning curve was steep, but as we familiarized ourselves with the system and spent time with the LCS pass and the support team learning the intricacies of the platform, we are able to self-direct most new initiatives on the platform and have better visibility into our project profitability and company performance than we have ever had before.
Pros
NetSuite allowed our business to reevaluate process and streamline existing ones, while serving as a single location to house our financial, banking, and CRM data.
Cons
Our implementation process was messy, but we got on the right track early and have worked with our ACS optimize team to make the product the best it can be.

NetSuite: Analysis, features for Cost-Efficacy
NetSuite has been very evidently useful in our analysis business. You are saving your average of forty percent when it comes to risk assessment because of the automated alerts and the new scoring system.
Pros
Affiliated continuous time integrated credit risk scoring that identifies possible risks right from customers and machines using algorithms based on current financial information and past payment records, respectively. The flexibility of the dynamic financial modeling that allows using scenarios for the risk assessment procedure, including several factors simultaneously in the model.
Cons
There are few opportunities to modify parameters determining risk evaluation at the level of a concrete client. The templates appropriating financial reporting require further flexibility in computing special risk. It may be possible to organize the multiple client assessments more efficiently by doing them in batches.

It can accommodate the growth of transactions, users and data volume without requiring significant hardware upgrades through its highly scalable features. Have highly dedicated security teams and infrastructure to ensure data privacy and compliance with industry regulations.

Not set up correctly/No customer service
It was terrible. I was passed to several different people. No one spoke to each other about my issues, and no one resolved any other than offering to charge me more for a new module that would fix everything.
Pros
I like the promise that it would have good reporting and customization.
Cons
was extremely dissatisfaction with the service and support provided by NetSuite over the past year. Unfortunately, my experience has been fraught with numerous issues, ultimately leading me to decide not to renew our contract.
From the outset, the implementation of NetSuite was handled incorrectly, causing significant disruptions to our business operations. Whenever we encountered an issue, the standard resolution offered was to purchase an additional module, which felt more like a sales strategy than a genuine effort to resolve our problems.
Moreover, the pricing structure for essential features such as payroll and profit and loss by jobs was not made clear upfront, leading to unexpected costs that strained our budget. Throughout our time with NetSuite, I found that no one seemed to have the necessary expertise to fix the issues we faced. Despite numerous requests to speak with supervisors, I was consistently told that our problems could be solved by spending more money, which was both frustrating and unacceptable.
Compounding these issues was the frequent turnover of our account manager, who changed four times within the year. This lack of continuity meant that no one had a clear understanding of our account history or ongoing issues, resulting in repeated explanations and a general lack of progress in resolving our concerns.
It is evident that the primary focus was on receiving payment rather than providing effective solutions and support. This approach has left us with a system that does not meet our needs and has caused considerable disruption to our operations.

Review on NS from an admin perspective
Overall experience from 4 + years using NS compared to other experience of ERP systems is positive
Pros
Customable reporting, easy configurable custom fields and modifying forms for different records
Cons
From an admin perspective, customizing WF is not user friendly and is limited. Which forces us in some cases to use suite scripts to overcome issues. Creating suite scripts requires development knowledge, i.e. Java script and knowledge of Suite Script configuration. Since this is not accessible to all organization inhouse, this requires using a certified 3rd part vendor which is both time consuming and costly.

NetSuite - Listen To Your Customers
If it were my decision I would move to a more flexible system like Intacct of Blackline. NetSuite has been really challenging at best.
Pros
The ability to do everything in one platform.
Cons
Integration is tedious and expensive. It can be very clunky in that its not intuitive and user friendly. It appears the product was created by programmers with not the input of the needs of accountants. Some of the basic statement you would expect to see in any accounting system is not available. You need a full time consultant to be successful which is frustrating.

Netsuit for K's
So far, everything is going well. Of course except for the signal issues and database access I mentioned above. But overall, my use of the netsuite app really helps us to efficiently communicate with potential customers with ease. And makes us sure everything is logged and well documented
Pros
I like that we are able to communicate to our current and potential clients, as well as to our suppliers without hassle. All info, templates and previous conversations are in one placem If another person is going to attend to their concerns, no need for lots of instructions, just need to go through netsuite and everything is there. It also has lots of features that I didn't expect. Especially the trend and reporting analysis, it helps us see how many customers we are serving so we can better manage them. We can also get back to the last task the previous user has worked on. If any problem occurs, rhe customer service is ready to help and is very accommodating.
Cons
I just love the app. Only that i sometimes have poor signal when I'm at an remote area. The problem is that the database cannot be uploaded when theres no signal. So if I needed to go through my tasks or call a customer, I need to go to a place where the signal is good so i can do that.

I miss my QuickBooks Enterprise software.
I'm a CPA and CFO with over 40 years of experience. I've used many different software products throughout my career, and have led several different software conversions. This has definitely been the worst experience in my career. The English of the whole implementation team was horrible. It was extremely difficult to understand them, and their written communication wasn't much better. The fact that they were located on the other side of the globe also made them relatively inaccessible. Since this was a financial accounting system setup, the biggest insult of all was the fact that no one on the NetSuite team knew anything about American accounting processes. As a result, they were totally worthless when it came to providing any insight into how to setup NetSuite for it to work smoothly for an American service company. This was by far, the WORST software implementation process I have ever gone through.
Pros
We're a group of American companies with common ownership, worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and a few hundred employees. We thought this would be the best long-term option for connecting our third-party software needs, and coordinating our multiple companies efficiently. In hind-sight, I think NetSuite is better suited to a multi-national company much larger than us.
Cons
Communication was extremely poor. What is sold vs what is provided is very different. They compartmentalize everything so much, that they bleed you dry for money.
