Breaking a project into phases with separate budgets lines up with our fee proposals, so tracking effort against fee is a direct comparison instead of a reconciliation exercise. Time entry is quick enough that staff actually keep up with it, which is the whole battle. Sub-consultant tracking and the QuickBooks Online sync removed a lot of duplicate entry. Onboarding was assisted and helped us create invoices specific to our project types. There is alot too the platform that I think we are not using to the fullest as a small firm.
