Even technical words come out right. And if I need a word or phrase that's out of the ordinary, I add it to my dictionary and suddenly its recognized about ninety-eight percent of the time. > > **Cons**: I initially had some problems with punctuation. Every time I dictated the word "colon" as it referred to a portion of the intestinal system, a punctuation mark - : - showed up. Talkatoo took care of the problem. Getting dates properly transcribed took a little learning on my part. But, as usual, that's been handled too. > > When Dragon stopped supporting “Microsoft Word for Mac,” Talkatoo saved my career. I am a physician, not a veterinarian for whom the program was initially developed. But trust me, it makes no difference what kind of work you do. If you use a Mac and need voice-to-transcription software, go with Talkatoo. I cannot recommend them too highly.
