MPulse is very user friendly and makes work manageable by being able to keep track of all...
Pros
The software is very easy to use and has allowed us to schedule, track, and report within the organization. The training is very user friendly and loading information is easy.
Cons
Some of the reporting options can be upgraded to export information but other than that we love the software for our organization.

Mpulse pros and cons
Stepped into current role (AM) using Mpulse. Worked with rep on site to set up new database; this went as smoothly as could be imagined and rep was extremely helpful and has went above and beyond. Setting up some reports has been painful. Both to correct existing report from previous database and to have new report/widget created.
Pros
Ability to set up PMs/repeating work orders. Ability to track history and usage.
Cons
1- Inability to look up data based on time of day (individual shifts).
2- The key stroke timer that will auto load/refresh is a constant gripe from techs.
3- AX inputting

Mpulse review
I would rate my experience so far, a 3/10. I did not purchase this software; this was already in the department when I took over as supervisor so knowing the previous supervisor, i blame him for some of the software functions being so confusing but like stated earlier, not having support when i need them can become frustrating sometimes.
Pros
Mpulse is a good tool for my maintenance technicians. When a machine breaks it is very easy to track down what piece of equipment needs servicing.
Cons
Mpulse on an administrator standpoint is very difficult to use. I often have trouble navigating the behind the scenes because of how confusing the software is. With how much work I have running a maintenance department, it really puts a wrench in the works not having good support readily available to me.

Long-time satisfied user
For our campus, it made getting requests from users easier, plus the users were able to receive e-mail notifications depending on the status of the work order. The building users appreciate it's ease of use for getting requests to Physical Plant. Maintenance staff can be held accountable for performance and with the Preventative Maintenance procedures getting scheduled and completed, the downtime of critical equipment has dropped.
Pros
Ease to set up, service and trouble-shooting skills of staff at MPulse top rate! Have been using the various platforms of Mpulse since June 2000.
Cons
Since We did in house loading of assets and setting up of preventative maintenance procedures, it would have been nice to have some pre-populated PM procedures that could have been available for generic pieces of equipment that everyone has. The inventory process, part/materials was a bit cumbersome as well the key management tab.

Estee Lauder R&D Maintenance and Repair
Mostly satisfied, but there are some improvements that can be made. Customer service is very good and responds right away.
Pros
Ease of managing records and creation of new using copy paste feature. Scheduled Maintenance records keep work orders on track.
Cons
The Audit Trail function being limited to 15 days and on as request basis should be extended to continuous.
Date formatting cannot be customized. Being a GMP facility there are compliant date formats that must be used, which we cannot change.
Using search at the top of columns in list view is slow and when term being searched cannot be found the system locks up temporarily.
There used to be a search field at the top of the Asset Assigned to Task. That was very useful but removed in V9.
When large quantities of assets are assigned to task in work orders, applying labor to each is very time consuming. Perhaps there could be a split labor across all assigned assets would work.
The view Media dialogue is slow to load when multiple pages are within an attachment.
The "reset" function workflow within the search field at the top of list columns takes too many steps to complete. Opening the list view/settings and applying the change is too many steps.

Mpluse review
Mpluse is an OK CMMS software. It works and is cost effective but can lack innovation in areas. They are slow to release updates and seem to only work on bugs or upgrades if enough people ask for them.
Pros
It can be user friendly if you set it up properly
Cons
I can be very slow and takes a long time to load. It doesn't always accept changes that you made. It would be much better if you didn't have to blue checkmark all your changes. If it would just keep and change the fields with out having to click on pencils all the time it would be so much faster to complete your work.

MPulse pros and cons
It suits my need but if I could find something better I would chose it.
Pros
I like the flexibility and the ability to customize to the company's need and the end users' needs.
Cons
1.) The look and feel are antiquated. 2.) The work order layout, process, and printable version are just not up to par. Very difficult and antiquated. 3.) Report Wiget's are not very customizable; very limited in what you can see.

Using MPulse
We've been using MPulse for the last 4 years now, and we don't have any plans of stopping. We appreciate how it helped us in keeping track of all of our devices and not relying too much on stacks of spreadsheets updating, tracking, monitoring, etc., of our devices. MPulse does the work for us.
Pros
Easy to use and understand. There's a learning curve on how to use it but once you learn how to navigate within MPulse, you will definitely appreciate how powerful MPulse is in maintaining and managing all of your devices.
Cons
It was hard to understand at first, but as you use it more daily, you get to appreciate how powerful MPulse is.

MPulse user
has been great! I was with another CMMS before them and this is so much better
Pros
the customer service is great! if you have a question they are so helpful about getting back to you and answering your questions or helping you if you have an issue.
Cons
I wish the mobile was a little more user friendly and showed all open work orders no matter how old. we have to monthly change the due date on some work orders so now the due date is not looked at in anything.

Maintenance management with Mpulse
Its a big help with mechanical maintenance. It acts as a great reminder for preventative maintenance on equipment.
Pros
Its capacity to store a lot of details per each piece of equipment that we service
Cons
It takes a lot of training to get proficient at using the system. It would be best suited for a company that had someone dedicated to the system.

MPULSE from overall perspective
It has been a good software overall. We have managed our assets pretty well using this software. The good side of it is that it is customizable however the bad side of it is that it is not very customizable.

Mpulse
Pros
We really like this program. It has many features that we take advantage of. It is our companies primary ticket management software and it is used to manage all of our inventory and maintenance tracking.
Cons
The only problem we encountered was a very unique billing issue specific to our company but the tech support was very helpful and assisted us in coming up with a creative solution.

Covering Maintenance Needs
I give this program at least a 9.5 and up. the reason behind such a high recommendation is because of employees, training and overall program orgainization. I am able to open many pages and still go back to "home" at any given time. If i should need some quick help or a tuitorial i can even go online and watch step by step guides that take me through. This is why i believe it deserves a high recommendation.
Pros
Is a great course/program all over, MPulse takes many different ideas and combines them. Not only is the program great to get to learn and set up, the people who offer guidance and assistance seem to love their jobs which makes me feel good about asking questions about things i may not know. All over this course and program have been a great experience for me, i am still learning. Although something about entering hundreds of peices of equipment into a system sounds teideous to me, once it is their it goes no where and everyone else can find it. If i am away for the day it is easy for someone else to get on and get emergency work orders, and the employees love it because they can follow up on the ones they have already submitted.
Cons
I will get back to you :)

Mpulse has been one of the most useful software tools we have purchased over the past decade.
The Town of Friday Harbor has been using Mpulse maintenance software for over a decade. Prior to Mpulse we tried using software from as simple as calendar (outlook type) reminder software to a couple other companies claiming user friendly, reliable software packages. We failed to fully implement those programs mostly due to lack of software support or training from the companies. When we switched to Mpulse, we received excellent implantation and training support, and have been successfully utilizing this powerful tool for maintenance scheduling, tracking, and state required reporting ever since.
As technology has changed over the past decade, Mpulse has been able to adapt and offer relevant products that keep up with the ever transforming world of computer based information management, and reporting. When they made the leap to a web browser based CMMS software package, they continued to support their older version users as well as committing to an intense webinar training program to support their customers making the transition to their new platform with greater functionality.
Mpulse continues to meet our maintenance tracking needs with excellent customer support and training.

Pros
Besides the ease of working with the software, the initial training and support as well as the "Tips and Tricks" monthly webinars have proven invaluable to help me learn and use best practices in making a smooth transition for my staff both in inputing and responding to work orders.
Cons
The only thing that I don't like it that the program kicks me out every once in a while.

CBC/CTS Machine & Facilities CMMS
Pros
Private Customer and Government organizations recognize Mpulse and accept the performance during all of the audits a Blood/Tissue bank is required. We use it at multiple locations over the United States.
Cons
The web-based system speed is not as fast as I would like to have or as fast as a computer based system. We must have web based.

Mpulse Recommendation
I have enjoyed building our CMMS program with the Mpulse program. It has served us well and I believe that even though we have grown to a point where we are requiring a little more of the program than it is typically used for; V7 will help us to implement the newer and larger uses that we are now considering.
Pros
Wonderful and Helpful Support Center
Cons
Could use more flexibility with list views; however, believe that V7 will remedy this.

MPulse 7 launches VPS Maintenance/Transportation to a higher level of service
For any business in the work order arena, MPulse has all the elements for reporting and tracking. Our organization is viewing data for multiple areas, in one system, that used to require several departments. An excellent, fully customizeable system that I highly recommend.
Pros
Superb reporting capabilities
Tracking all aspects of business(labor,parts,hours,fuel, mileage,work orders,equipment,vehicles,tasks,etc.)
Automated Advisor with widgets that provide graphs, charts, readings of important customized information.
Ease of flow linking parts, labor, equipment, tasks, to work orders.
Ability to export reports to PDF or Excel to further customize data reports.
Tremendous customer service.
MPulse willingness to custom suit customers needs.
Cons
No cons to speak of, training of the program is key.
