The solution I've been searching for
I have found the customer support to be more than excellent and that it is included within the 30-day trial period.
Special mention to my customer support agent, [sensitive content hidden]. His knowledge of the system and platford is very good, as is his attitude and patience.
Pros
The user interface, the dashboard and ease of the settings.
Cons
Can't think of any. Keep up the great work

ShiptheoryReasons for Choosing ShipStation
I trialled both Ship Theory and Ship Station together at the same time. For me Ship Station wins hands-down...Switched From
ShiptheoryReasons for Switching to ShipStation
ShipStation's dashboard, user interface, nagigation settings are so much better. I also like how so much better the automated rules are to setup and configure. ShipStation also has build-in and pre-intregrated carriers that give you live rate pricing.- Industry: Retail

Great product, other than the shipping rates
We've used Shipstation to purchase and print labels from both the API and web portal. Both the API and web portal are quite good, with the web portal being best in class.
Pros
Shipstation has by far the best UX/UI of any of the shipping softwares we've used (Shippo, Easypost, Pirate Ship). It also has far more frontend features. If you're primarily using the web portal for shipping management, this is your best bet. You'll get things done much faster than with alternative options.
Cons
The biggest downside of Shipstations is their carrier rates. USPS rates are quite bad as they force you to provision your own USPS account. Other platforms allow you to use their rates for USPS, which gets you much better discounts (unless you ship 50,000+ pieces a month on your own account, you won't match the discounts on Shippo or similar).
Reasons for Switching to ShipStation
We use both Shippo and Shipstation. Any USPS parcels go Shippo because the rates are so much better- Industry: Retail

Never trust customer service
Pros
Integrates very well with other sites and plugins. Setup was not terrible to do. Fulfillment is much easier then other companies we have used in the past.
Cons
Customer service was horrible! They are hard to get a hold of and when you do they cannot solve the issue most of the time. When you do get a hold of them, they give you a run around with no actual help. Constant issues with address and labels.

Shipstation for your needs big or small
Shipstation has been there for our company from the very beginning. It has grown to be able to assist us in shipping thousands of shipments per day.
Pros
Shipstation offers everything one needs to operate a compact, medium or large fulfillment business.
Cons
There are so many features that we don't use, I wonder if it might be better to have the option to build a subscription level rather than use a subscription tier that's centered only around volume.
Reasons for Switching to ShipStation
Shpistation has an amazing user interface that is thoroughly customizable and has API that allows our devs to do amazing things, things which would have been extremely difficult to emulate over at another company.- Industry: Cosmetics

ShipStation productivity vs price
My company used ShipStation for 7 years for the most part it was a positive experience. If they price did not increase we likely would still be using this platform
Pros
It was easy to use and typically very fast to print labels. The batch shipping is also a useful feature.
Cons
The cost recently increased by a lot but there was no additional benefits to the price increase.

ShipStation is Necessary but Annoying
It's acceptable for what we use it for and I've been unable to find a replacement for it in our day-to-day operations but it leaves a lot to be desired. The price keeps going up but the service gets worse.
Pros
ShipStation is the tool we use for fulfilling orders every day at Curl Warehouse. It allows us to bring in our carrier rates, save our regular package sizes, etc. It is great having everything in one place.
Cons
There are few alternatives to ShipStation within this price range, and I think ShipStation knows that we don't have a lot of options. Customer service is practically non-existent and several features don't really work as well as they should, such as order filters, updating product information when it is updated in Shopify even though the tools are connected, printing product vendor on the packing slips isn't possible (WHY?! This seems like something so many of us would find beneficial), and there are several other things that seem like they should be part of the tool that aren't and would be really helpful for merchants.

My Experience with Ship Station
Superb! My experience is great every time I use Ship Station. I personally have not had any problems using it.
Pros
I like everything about Ship Station. It's easy to use. It's easy to select the shipping method you want to ship your package. It's not that expensive and it's convenient to print and ship right from your own home.
Cons

Necessary to get ship done!
Totally necessary for our small business to ship our cosmetic products with ShipStation. Couldn't have run our business without it.
Pros
I loved how easily it integrated with our Squarespace shop. We used Shipstation to print labels and to manage which orders we shipped. The label-making was flexible enough for us and let us be a little custom with a brand logo. Was also great how it worked with UPS, FedEx, and all the other shipping types. Customer service was always quite helpful and easy to access.
Cons
I remember going back a forth a lot between Shipstation and Squarespace and wishing more was integrated into Shipstation so that I could just stay on that platform.

Use it Everyday!
ShipStation is crucial to the success of this business.
Pros
ShipStation is extremely easy to use, I like that you can assign weights to products to where you don't have to manually type them in each time. I also like the Bulk Updates option so I can print many things at once, which is especially useful for efficiency and large order days.
Cons
Customer Service via phone usually has a long wait time; however, the chat option typically responds quicker.

Aweful scam Stay away.
Horrible
Pros
Nothing except international shipping less
Cons
Horrible customer service. They don’t answer phone. Website terribly confusing and difficult to use on IPhone The free trial is a lure as you must give a credit card .Sales rep didn’t mention you must cancel on their website which is difficult and requires multiple steps. Canceling by email or message to rep or customer service WONT get you cancelled and your credit card charged. There notifications go to spam . They quoted the wrong charges and didn’t mention u don’t get a tracking number so if you do business on EBay you’ll be dinged. They lie to avoid responsibility for their shortcomings ie 90 day free cancel period… they didn’t honor claiming I used their service after the 90 days.. bold faced lie. STAY AWAY

Great product, but room for impreovement
Pros
I love that ShipStation is fully integrated with PayPal, no extra steps required. Also have the option to purchase flats envelope pricing, which isn't offered through most platforms. This can be a downside for inexperienced users who select this shipping class not realizing it does not include tracking and should not be used for packages.
Cons
The user interface could use some improvement. Compared to competitors, shipstation is much more cumbersome to view the status of all outgoing shipments at a glance. Instead, I have to click on each shipment individually to view delivery information. Would also like the option to generate a qr code for those times when I do not have access to a printer.

Room for Improvement on what could be a great product
Pros
It has a fairly easy operating face that makes training simple. Easy and simple shipments rarely if ever, have issues.
Cons
There is nowhere to be able to input a weight of a shipping carton itself to help with calculations of when something will be too heavy to go via a certain shipping services which has led to some overcharging later down the road. There are several features that have been requested through the threads that devs neither respond to, nor seem inclined to implement. To use all the possible features, you have to switch back and forth between the old layout and new layout, and this is not a simple toggle feature.

An Excellent Shipping Partner
Overall it's very good. I'm always able to get customer support when I need it and they are very knowledgable.
Pros
I like that we can use all our carriers and easily monitor which things have shipped and what hasn't.We are able to split orders if needed and put things on hold.
Cons
One thing I would like to see is to be able to see when a shipment has not delivered. You can't filter shipments by "undelivered" so it's hard to spot carrier issues that come up. You just have to search through the whole list.
