Onboarding and set up can be tricky but well worked out. > > **Cons**: As an accountant, I need to be able to initiate an access request to a client's file because the current email invitation system has proven unreliable for over a year. Even when a client sends an invite correctly, it doesn't reach my email inbox for the invite to to be accepted. I get email from the client outside of QBO. I get Intuit Marketing email without a problem. It is not on the accountant or client side. They shouldn't have to create another user with a different email address. My ability to serve my clients is impacted. Allowing accountants to request access would solve this recurring Quickbooks Invite failure. > > The user experience with QuickBooks shouldn't be compromised. New features shouldn't come at the cost of operational stability. I also like the integrations with the bank feeds and other apps which makes recording transactions a breeze. The step-by-step instructions which can be found with their online support is very useful and shareable with clients when they need to know how to do something in Quickbooks. I like the Accountant Tools features because it helps me to make corrections and changes much easier \& quicker. I also really like the newer Books Review page. It helps me to clean up client books and message them with questions directly out of Quickbooks. I like that it is cloud based so there is no longer fear of a clients books getting lost on a damaged computer or network. Also, it allows me to be able to provide accounting services to my clients from home no matter where they are located. > > **Cons**: There are a few quirks with some of the newer features of the software, but I am sure those will get worked out. I also have not had a great experience with the phone support team. Sometimes they are able to help, but I have been steered wrong by support in the past and ended up figuring out the fix on my own after spending a long time on a call with support. > > Overall I have had a good experience with Quickbooks Online Accountant.
