Security teams can use the application to generate security audit trails and export them in CSV files to monitor compliance across SOC2 or ISO regulations. ## Reviews

### "Great physical office access tool, but requires user training" — 4.0/5

> **Lance** | *26 July 2026* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Mobile door locking and unlocking functionality. Integration with physical access cards, useful if people do not always have their phone on them.
>
> **Cons**: Potential security concerns as you can unlock a door without physically being near the door. Mobile access link for visitors is nice but not user-friendly.
>
> Great overall, nice that it allows guests to unlock doors with their phones, but can cause issues if the guest is not tech-savvy.

### "Once impressive, not disappointing." — 4.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *16 August 2022* | Financial Services | Recommendation rating: 0.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Allows for cloud management of access and using arbitrary NFC tokens.
>
> **Cons**: Support is basically non existent, SSO costs extra, automated user enrolment via Google is poorly implemented, new login interface isn't user friendly especially on mobile.
Mobile apps only recently stopped being web wrappers, admin interface still is.
>
> When we rolled it out around 4y ago they've been only "good" provider will fully cloud features so we've signed up for 5y regardless of them shipping everything from USA.
Since then market vastly changed and I can no longer recommend them.

### "Keyless Door Access Review" — 4.0/5

> **Liz** | *20 November 2018* | Entertainment | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: I loved that this app allowed me to access my work location by simply using force touch to open up the doors. It was way easy than having to fumble around with keys.
>
> **Cons**: I did not like that with this software when the power would go out, it wouldn't work properly and then you would have to switch to using normal key. This was a little bit of an inconvenience.

### "The KISI software provides both easy access and dependable security\!" — 5.0/5

> **Tara** | *6 February 2020* | Public Relations & Communications | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The KISI software is incredibly easy to use and my team loves that we use an app to enter our suite. I also really like having the ability to grant temporary access to visitors.
>
> **Cons**: The system is connected to Wifi and when it goes down (not KISI's fault) the KISI system is affected. Not a huge issue because this hardly ever happens and my regular key still works\!
>
> Security and transparency\!

### "Simple Access Control You Can Rely On" — 5.0/5

> **Ryan** | *18 February 2020* | Real Estate | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: As and admin, the service makes it super simple to configure all aspects to your entire access control solution. Configuring users, permissions and settings like scheduled unlocks takes seconds to configure.

For users every aspect of the system has been rock solid. The app is straightforward and just works and is lightyears ahead of having to keep track of access cards/keys.
>
> **Cons**: I wish gSuite Directory sync was more developed. It is a useful tool for being able to import your users, but you can not sync more than one-level deep into your organizational structure and that is very limiting. Also wish it was a two way sync or SSO. As it is, when a user leaves our company, we have to remove them from gSuite then login and remove them from Kisi.
>
> We're very happy with the Kisi platform. It is an access control solution that truly just works with enough options that it is applicable to most situations. We use Kisi for after-hours access control to one of our largest offices. We have over 100 end users setup to use the app and we've had zero complaints or trouble with operation from a user perspective.
