Excellent Employee Reward Program
Pleasure to use, and it's great to see the complimentary and supportive messages ("Shout Outs") employees send to each other. Seems to really promote a culture of gratitude!
Pros
Our employees use it very actively, and we believe that recognition is important to job satisfaction. The fact that it's fun and easy to use helps boost use of the app.
Cons
Nothing comes to mind - can't think of any dislikes!

Innovative way to recognise and reward employees.
The he fact that it allows peer to peer recognition to play a big role in recognising employee performance is so innovative.
Pros
I love its unique feature of allowing employees to award points to peers or managers for good performance. Points are then redeemed by way of gift cards, charity donations etc.
Cons
It has more strengths than weaknesses. It’s just that rewards may take time to accumulate points for high-value items.

User-friendly way to recognize others
We have been searching for over a year for a new recognition program/software, and this really does it all for us. It not only provides the platform to recognize people, but also the rewards behind it with the giftcards.
Pros
This is a very quick, user-friendly way to recognize members of your organization without it being a burdensome process. I like the hashtag options to associate the recognition with one of our company's core values as well.
Cons
Not really a NectarHR issue, but I wish it was more visible to our company. Unless you log into NectarHR, you're not seeing what people are being recognized for, which is part of the point. I think as a company we need to see if we can live-stream this on our employee-facing monitors around the office building, put it on our company's Intranet site, etc.
Response from Nectar HR
Hi Amy! Thanks for the feedback and we are glad you are enjoying it. We have built out the capability to show the recognition feed in your intranet. We will reach out to your administrator to see if we can get that implemented.

Nectar is a Great Workplace Tool!
I routinely check Nectar, and am always happy to see anyone get recognized for their hard work and dedication. Getting recognized myself is very rewarding. I think especially in times of increased remote work, it's a great tool to have available for when you want to thank others for their efforts.
Pros
I find that Nectar encourages us all to routinely consider our coworkers and their contributions. It prompts users to think about how they've been helped by others, and allows us to grant tangible rewards to those who display good attitude, workmanship, etc.
Cons
I don't dislike anything about it--I think it's a very welcome addition to the tools we have at Avian for interacting with our coworkers.

Excellent! Very simple resource for 360 team member recognition.
The software has provided us with a digital process for recognizing and rewarding team members, both from a manager level and and peer level.
Pros
Ease of use, robust functionality, cost, flexibility and excellent support. My team loves the ability to publicly recognize and reward other team members.
Cons
I actually haven't found a lot of negatives with the software. And the few times I have, the team at Nectar has been quick to resolve the concern and even, on several occasions, update the software to incorporate my suggested improvements.

Nectar Review
Nectar has been wonderful and I am excited to use this on a daily basis. Sometimes a "thank you" just isn't enough and this is a way to award points for employees to use to purchase gift cards and who doesn't like a gift card? It makes everyone feel more appreciated and more valued at their jobs and it also makes the employees want to work hard to achieve these points. The best thing is it's so simple and doesn't take time out of an already busy day to do.
Pros
This software has been wonderful. I have been with this company for 15 years and this is the BEST award program we have ever had. It's such an easy way to recognize co workers who have gone above and beyond their normal job. It's so simple and takes literally a few minutes to award points to a fellow team member. Our old system was more cumbersome and many people wouldn't bother taking the time. Immediately I noticed people who didn't use the old system are using this one.
Cons
The only thing I don't like is that each person needs to sign up individually and I notice that some co workers don't want to take that tiny effort to do so. I want to award points to a few individuals but if they haven't signed up I can't do that. Not really a problem with software exactly but it's the only thing I don't like.

Shout It Out
The overall experience with Nectar has been positive. Seeing Nectar email notifications pop up during the week means someone has said something nice about you, and Nectar provides an opportunity for you to return the positive messaging. I think Nectar provides a forum for intentionally spreading good vibes amongst our team.
Pros
It is nice to have a forum for sending quick positive messages to colleagues that go above and beyond. It is also nice to have that colleague recognized by the company at large. Nectar's model is specific to positive recognition instead of a forum board full of random clutter. I like the specificity of Nectar's purpose. Also, it is nice to see a long chain of positive feedback being shared amongst colleagues. It reminds me why our company stands out among others - our teamwork and employee-first model. Nectar compliments that initiative.
Cons
Suggest some GUI updates. The nomenclature "Notifications" is used twice (bell icon and in personal snapshot page). Recommend blending the "Activity" tab to show the full list of posts made by other colleagues instead of just a list of who made a shoutout and how many days ago it was made. That requires a user to go to a second place to see the full content. Then, "Notifications" can be used for notification settings only.

Team Spirit - awakened
Since my first call with Nectar I've had a great experience. I've felt very taken care of each step of the way. The entire team is incredibly responsive and patient as I learn how best to tailor the usage of the platform for my company's specific needs.
Pros
Nectar is so incredibly easy to use and it shows all of the incredible actions our teammates take to live out our core values. As an admin, I really enjoy the analytic features that allow me to see a quick snapshot of recognition across team.
Cons
We are just skimming the surface on the usage of Nectar, but we'd love to see it build out with additional reporting features that make the reports to leadership more quantifiable. The dashboard for top-level analytics are great but I would like to see admin or manager panels more robust and be able to export stronger data reports.

Recognizing and Rewarding Employees
Pros
Nectar provides an easy-to-use platform for our employees to give and receive recognition for the great things they do. It is an easy way to boost morale and give praise for the day-to-day positive actions that sometimes go unrecognized. The entire organization can be involved and benefit from it, from executive leadership to the employees they oversee. Nectar also has great options to cash in the recognition points employees have received for a wide variety of rewards. The Nectar team is easy to work with and continuously innovating.
Cons
Nectar is constantly innovating and coming up with new features all the time. This is a great thing, but it also means we sometimes have to wait to roll out awesome new features that are still in development.

A simple, effect way to recognize outstanding work
Pros
Easy to use, quick and simple ways to recognize colleagues for actions outside or above their job duties. The expiring points to give away encourage me to recognize people all month.
Cons
The expiring points can lead to "dumping" all points in the last day of the month for anything remotely applicable.

Nectar: A Teamwork Booster
The overall experience with this product is great, as it helps solve the issue of establishing teamwork and appreciation for fellow staff in an easy to monitor fashion.
Pros
I like that there is a system of points that you can give and receive from others. It incentivizes participation and teamwork, especially since there is a material reward involved with the inclusion of a way to spend earned
Cons
The bright color palette is a bit hard to look at with higher contrast monitors.

Affordable and Robust Peer-to-peer recognition solution
Excellent product, easy to recognize our peers and is connection our workforce. Brings a bit of gamification as employees compete to win points.
Pros
This tool has helped to boost the moral of our employees and re-connect them even as the pandemic continues to force telework.
Cons
The ability to find the gift card rewards is harder to find because it defaults to company rewards and the button looks like a header.

Social Recognition FTW
Our company has been using it to allow employees to give kudos to recognize efforts within the company. Each employee gets an allotment of points to give away. Managers get a bigger allotment. Those points expire at the end of the month, so we're encouraged to look for peers putting in effort and to recognize that effort.
Pros
I love the social recognition feature of the app. I feel like it has boosted morale and our team spirit as there has been inter- and intra-team recognition for efforts within the company.
Cons
The biggest con for me currently is the lack of a mobile app. The website isn't very mobile friendly as of yet.

Cindy' Review
Nectar is a great way to recognize people publicly and is a sustainable option without breaking the bank with large bonuses that aren't justifiable for the action.
Pros
I like tracking my employees accolades to see who and who has not been recognized over the course of a month/quarter. Additionally, it's a forum for sharing accomplishments and services that deserve more than a simple thank you.
Cons
I don't like the leader board. It shouldn't be a competition.

Easy to use social recognition software
Overall, pretty good so far!
Pros
Self explanatory, easy to use. I like the instant notification to peers that they have helped out. Also gives social recognitions in front of others in the company. I also like the incentives to do certain tasks to get points (update resume, etc).
Cons
Somewhat confusing to use points for cookie party or higher allowance? Havent used that yet. Also confusing that gift cards are set at increments (I have enough for a $20 gift card but can only do $5 or $10 gift cards). Desktop software was easier to use than the app so far. Our corporate staff uses this often (which I was part of but just moved to be a contractor within the company a few months ago). The employees on contract are not familiar yet, so trying to motivate them to use as well.

My Nectar review
Nectar has been a positive experience so far. It has stream-lined our recognition process and made it more accessible so employees can see who is recognized and also participate in recognizing another employee.
Pros
The best thing about this program has been getting our agents to interact with eachother more and rewarding them for doing so.
Cons
There should be a way to filter or search some of the previous posts.

Pleasantly surprised at our team's adoption
Overall, quite positive. I was not expecting our team to adopt it into our culture as rapidly has they have.
Pros
Nectar HR is a great, easy to use, platform that allows our team to recognize other individuals within our organization for outstanding service and performance. It has quickly become a positive talking point amongst our associates, and has actually provided motivation for the team to go out of their way to help one another.
Cons
I haven't found really anything negative to say about the platform. The fact that points expire at the end of the month has forced some on our team to quickly dump their points to other individuals before they lose them. I would love for an alternative way to provide motivation for our team to be distributing their points throughout the month.

This has been our first official way of being able to recognize the positive that everyone is doing!
Pros
I do enjoy the ability to recognize individuals for their contributions to others and the impact it has on our company!
Cons
I wish that when someone is recognized that there were features to indicate who supervisors are and they are notified as well when someone they oversee have gone above and beyond.
