> Vividcortex is a great tool that provides a lot of nice and useful information. Many of my customers are using it and enjoy it. It help me (as dba consultant) to point the problem much quickly. 
There is also a great feature that display warnings (stalls) that neither the application of the customer sees already but that can indicate a future problem.

Just a word, about the customer service: it's great and Vivid is listening to the requests you make to improve it even more.

2. DBA's can understand their databases better with VC, something happened in the middle of the might, you come back in the morning looking for the answers and VC almost all the times has an answer to why it happened.
3. you can compare database/query usage pre and post deployment.
4. last but not the least, they have an awesome support team\!\!\!
