When you estimate work in The PlanMinder, you provide two numbers: one for the best-case scenario, and one you’re reasonably sure will be enough, considering all that might go wrong. The scheduler uses this uncertainty to run a Monte Carlo simulation, calculating probability distributions for when milestones will be reached, and how likely it is that you will reach deadlines on time. 

This gives you early warnings when you risk missing goals, and the tools to understand why and do something about it. No overbooking of resources is possible. > **Pros**: This software is different from all other project planning tools I've tested. It makes planning and managing projects easier since the program does most of the difficult parts for you. It gives a neat overview and makes it much easier to decide on were to put more efforts in order to finish in time.
