Healthcare providers using ReferralMD can review faxes that are related to patient referrals, medical records and spam faxes, which can be separated into referral queues, automatically added to EMRs or removed from the queue and archived according to requirements. The task management module enables supervisors to track the status of faxes, assign custom categories to each fax and receive notifications to ensure faxes are reviewed in a timely manner. Additionally, institutions can send automated weekly status updates to referral partners, ensuring improved customer service and engagement. 

ReferralMD allows call centers to port over existing numbers into the system or purchase new numbers to send and receive faxes. Support is extended via FAQs, email, phone and chat and integration with various radiology information systems (RIS), practice management systems (PMS) and electronic health records (EHR) systems is offered via APIs.
