Easy to use. Basic functions but work well for what my company needs for time tracking...
Pros
Works well with many different jobs, job locations, and different cost codes. This software works well on both the admin side and the employee side. It is simple enough for employees to use on their own without much explanation.
Cons
The field reports section could use some work. I love the ability to write field notes, but sometimes there are errors or delayed notes. Also, if the employee doesn't "log in" to a field note correctly you cannot go back and find it once deleted from notes overall section. However, this is not a deal breaker for the product.

BIRD DOG IS AN AWESOME RECRUITING SOFTWARE
Overall we have loved the partnership with Birddog.
Pros
Bird Dog is a great software for gathering resumes and candidates that meet the criteria we are looking for. The software is very user friendly and has ease of access to the admin to create other users on that account for the different hiring departments. The postings also fully integrate with our Website Careers page.
Cons
Would love to have the software integrate with our CRM so that once a candidate is hired they can be added seamlessly to our system.

Okay system for smaller busineses
Overall, I feel Arcoro is better suited for smaller businesses. Customer support was great until COVID hit. Our main source of contact ended up leaving the company, and it didn't seem like we were able to get much support after. It was just very recent that we were provided the support that we've been needing and was lacking.
Pros
I do like the ease or simplicity of the software. Arcoro has an easy step by step job posting procedure. The system also has easy report capabilities.
Cons
Arcoro is not able to handle larger industries or companies, the system becomes bogged down with the large amount of information, which makes the system pretty tedious to use when it comes to searching for candidates or performance evaluations.
If you are looking to translate the application or job posting in a different language, you have to do it manually with Google translator and use copy and paste.
Arcoro is not the most mobile friendly when it comes to candidates being able to apply for a job through a mobile device.
Arcoro was not able to mimic our current performance evaluation process completely, so we still have to do much of the process manually.

Does the Job It's supposed to do
It seemed to do the job just fine, I felt like the overall user experience was good. I think the aesthetics of the website could have used some work, or an update at least.
Pros
Good program for managing company announcements, and personal goals
Cons
Every year when filling out my annual review, I would get automatically logged out, thus losing about an hour of work! I'm sure this is a security feature, but a warning alert would have been very nice. Because these reviews were done annually, I never remembered about the auto logout feature, so just about every year it happened. Very frustrating.

Fits the Construction Space
I think it will help us to smoothen out our recruiting and onboarding process.
Pros
I liked the organization's knowledge of the construction workspace. Construction has it's own unique challenges when it comes to managing employees.
Cons
We're not far enough into the project to know what we don't like.

Our first Mobile time system
The system was okay for the original dollar amount that we were charged. After a year, they raised the rate to 4 times what we were originally paying. They shut off the cloud and wouldn't allow us to gain access to our timecards to close out the system. So if you're with them, you might want to back up information daily. Ours ended on a Friday night after hours, and the following week when we went to gather information, it was gone.
With other programs out on the market, I went with a different company. The new company is half the cost with an extremely user-friendly platform. My service technicians love it and really appreciate how the new system saves them so much time daily inputting information.
Pros
The only thing I liked about this system was that our employees could access it from their phones to log in and the fact that it tracked their timecards and we no longer need to mess with paper time cards.
Cons
My personal experience was that this company needs to make it easier to take notes, add addresses and calls when technicians get called out from their homes on an after-hour call. Our system ( their cloud) would crash and the technicians would get frustrated with the technology. They also need to work on the customer service end of things. I felt that they just wanted the "sell" and after you sign up, you are on your own. Yes, they have videos to watch, but actual help is nice too.

Review your contract
Frustrated in support; frustrated in using the Applicant tracking service. Not as easy it was described / sold to. Candidates uploading their resume did not work for them. May be better for a higher skilled positions, but not good for lower skilled workers. Our Account manager did not follow up after product was sold. We only heard from account rep, when he tried to upsell Learning Management Software platform.
Pros
We thought that the software was going to help us on board folks.
Cons
You need to have a dedicated person to run and or take of HR. If you are a smaller company and wear many hats, it is not user friendly. You will not hear from them until after your account renews on automatic renewal. They refuse to let you out of contract; and will put you into collections, regardless that we paid for the software upfront for the entire. Required to pay for software upfront. We do not use the software. and do not recommend,

My experience with ExakTime
Overall I love ExakTime. System was easy to use and navigate on the website and mobile app. Reports generated were easy to process and read.
Pros
I liked how easy it was to navigate through the website, view daily/weekly timesheets and process time reports. Our employees who used this system on their mobile devices had nothing but good things to say about the ExakTime app. It's easy to clock in and out, find job address and leave notes in case their time needed to be edited.
Cons
I think from an office-point-of-view, is that we were charged on an annual basis, which didn't really work with us sometimes because we would occasionally have an employee or two who would only work for a few months yet we would not be able to pro-rate our bill. I loved ExakTime but that was a deal-breaker in the end unfortunately. If they had offered a month-by-month payment arrangement then we would have stayed with them. Other than that, ExakTime was great!

Using BirdDogHR as our primary ATS resource has saved us time and money!
Pros
It's easy to navigate throughout the site and it's well organized. The tools are very useful and user friendly.
Cons
We've had a problem with applicants that apply through Indeed Mobile; their resumes and attachments are not always coming through. If it wasn't a known fact, then some applicants would be overlooked because they "didn't" attach their resume. However, I contact each applicant that has experience for the position they're applying for and ask them to email it to me. Then, once I get their email, I upload it for them. Doing this takes too much time; I've reported it to our account managers and they tell me its a Indeed thing.
Response from Arcoro
Thanks for your comments. As you mentioned this is an "Indeed thing" so unfortunately we don't have control over it but we will continue to work with Indeed to get a resolution.

Exaktime Review 2022
Exaktime allows employees at different sites to clock in and out, which allows us to track cost codes connected to each of our jobs, thus saving us time on the accounting dept.
Pros
I like how easy it is to set up new employees with Exaktime. I like that Exaktime is user-friendly and their customer service responds quickly.
Cons
My least favorite feature is that it will allow you to move to the next screen without pushing save, which allows you to lose what you entered.

A time-keeping company that cannot keep time
Pros
It was easy to use. My employees liked it. Nobody likes keeping track of hours
Cons
I used this application for several years. GET THIS. IT PRODUCES DUPLICATE TIME ENTRIES ON A REGULAR BASIS!! This has created several very tense and embarrassing situations with my hourly customers. They said the error was on our end. We must have double synced the records to Quickbooks. To that I say why would you create code that allows that action to take place? What possible benefit is that? And when I called them to request the time records that were created when I was paying for the program, (so I could sort out the mess they had created with my customers-plural) they demanded $140 for those records.
I switched to Tsheets which is much more reasonably priced and bonus--It actually produces accurate time records.
Bottom line, if your selling accuracy and accounting programs, make sure they actually work.

From the moment we started using this software, we were saving money.
Saves time and money from start to finish.
Pros
The GPS locator showed when an employee was not at the location. When they attempted to punch in for work before they even left their house, the system would flag it red and the employee would have to be truthful. This was an important aspect to saving our company money. When you have 40 employees and several of them are making upwards or more and they are punching in for an extra 15-30 minutes daily, it makes a large difference. It also made job costing a breeze. Instead of spending several hours job costing a big job weekly, a few selections in the report screen and there is a complete breakdown within just a couple of minutes. This was an excellent money and time saver aspect of the program. Also, being able to just hit a few buttons and transfer all the time records to my accounting software for payroll is a miraculous thing for me. Instead of spending hours on time records for payroll, a couple of minutes and there it is, ready to go. On the accounting side of the program, just the money saved in time alone, paid for the program in all actuality.
Cons
If the employee turns off the GPS locator on their mobile device, they can beat the system. It is overall a great program.

Not intuitive. Recent design changes are like putting lipstick on a pig.
We've been able to pay our employees. We use their online onboarding and open enrollment portals.
Pros
Aesthetically, it's a little more pleasing with their last update.
Cons
We use the CBIZ/EMS version of InfinityHR's services. Recent design changes did not improve it's poor functionality. Too many "work arounds" to achieve sub-par results. Roll outs of new functions have been consistently poorly planned and communicated. Simple functions like updating an emergency contact or changing tax elections have so many unnecessary steps it causes frustration for employees. Are report writing capabilities or metrics important to your role? Well, run far away. Simple reports are not easily accessed and the pre-loaded reports are a joke.
We had a great customer service rep at one point, she got so frustrated with the company that she left. Now, we (payroll and HR) email our customer service person so often (at least 5 times a week) that we have a standing, bi-weekly phone call with our rep to resolve any outstanding issues.

ExakTime Review
Absolutely love that I can communicate with the employees and not have to rely on the supervisor to submit their time sheets anymore. Everyone's time clock is accessible instantly.
Pros
I like that this software is compatible anywhere and anyone can use it. Once set up is complete it is easy to use and is a great tool for time tracking your employees.
Cons
The representative that did my initial setup was not familiar with our accounting software and our business deals with intricate details and categories for payroll so as the administrator, I had to teach myself how to set up some features in the Exaktime module. And I still am not using it to its full capacity due to I am not familiar with the programming.

Applicant tracking system that saves time & money!
Great overall system. Meets all of the Government contracting requirements. BirdDog actually pushes out updates to ensure we are compliant. Great people, great product.
Customizable system is great, and allows us to use their system in different ways than initially intended.
Pros
The Customer Service at BirdDog is truly second to none. Customer Service reps are knowledgeable, friendly, and will help with whatever your needs are. They even will make enhancement recommendations on your behalf. While we were implementing the system, I made suggestions for things I wanted to see in the system as future enhancements. They implemented them very quickly! They actually ask for feedback and are always looking to improve their product. While the product isn't perfect, a company who is interested in fine tuning and keeping the customer happy is a welcome change. (We recently left a much bigger, much more expensive product that never quite worked right, and there was no desire to help us fix it.)
Cons
There very little documentation, because of how customizable the system is, however, Customer Service will gladly walk you through any issues.

InfinityHR - Could use some improvements
The software itself is conceptualized very well. However, I think the design needs to be improved to make the software more user-friendly and less intimidating.
Pros
InfinitityHR makes tracking both work hours and paychecks very easy. I work in more than one place on campus, but with the authorization of the employer, InfinityHR provided me with the option of adding more than one workplace tab so keeping a record of where I worked and how many hours I worked there is incredibly easy and efficient now than ever. Plus you can even add comments as to make the information more detailed, which is a nice side feature. The software also has a calendar built into it which really comes in handy for me when clocking in and out.
Cons
I don't like that the software isn't very user-friendly, and that's probably because it makes sense for some of the information in there to be a little hard to access. But the software itself feels a bit aversive. Softening the features and just rearranging the UI design could really help out the users a lot, I think.

This app doesn't do much -causes alot of additional work later for me and the office. No...
Not much other than it gave us something else to use besides paper of excel. Not really happy with the product or their approach to helping customers. Seems like a take it or shake it approach with them on support and product enhancements. Sales guy was all pressure and daily hammering on the phone until we bought, then crickets.
Pros
Its half a step better than paper. I like that they have mobile apps but they don't have much useful data other than punches.
Cons
No accounting or payroll integration. Data dump only. They like to do the sell and run. Never heard from the sales guy again and can't get real help from support.

pretty easy to navigate and use.
Pros
I like the ease of the system, structure and use of the options. The options to run reports are great, the capabilities this software has to accommodate working with the construction industry is very helpful and convenient.
Cons
There has been some issues with returning back to the same page and at same state with back arrow option.. it appears everything is lost and you have to start you progress all over.. from setting up a search list or even just opening up a job list and specific employee, once you hit that back arrow you return back to the starting your process over again. ugh I also would like see the option to share applications with other entities within our company.

ExakTime Reivew
We have been using the ExakTime system for a number of years. Our old way of keeping time records was having the guys write their daily times on timecards. At the end of our two week payroll, I would have to add up all the hours, which was very time consuming. Besides that, I felt like most of the guys were rounding their times to the next 15 minutes each way in their favor. By using the new system of ExakTime, we have reduced the amount of "fluff" time on each of our employees times. Another huge aspect of this system that we benefit from is for our Time and Material jobs. Its very easy to run a report at the end of the job and tally the exact time we spent on that particular job. I love the new upgrade with having our own website to log onto from any computer, tablet or mobile device. I'd recommend, and have, this software to anyone in the construction field!
Pros
Easy to use
Cons
The old system was slow running on my computer.

No Tracking
I do not like the fact that I have to manually input all of the information, including where I am where I was and when. I wanted an app that would track my whereabouts all day long.
Pros
Sends hours direct to the office for easy input
Cons
I have to type in all of the information addresses every time I get to a new site. This app does not track all of your movements. I might as well just type everything up that I do in a day and send it in.

I love ExakTime, it takes a bit off of my work load!
Not having to change hours to decimals by myself!
Pros
I love viewing the reports, and how each paycheck is already set to our pay period. I also like the field notes area, I wish we could save the field notes, and when they are accidently deleted, to be able to retrieve them some how.
Cons
When I am creating a location and need to add a cost code that's not already in the system, it is a pain to have to back out of the location and go in to the cost code page, I wish I could add a cost code on the fly while creating a new job location! I would also like to delete and clean up old cost codes I wont use again, instead of just making them inactive.

Pros
I haven't had any issues and all of the features work without trouble. The ExakTime team was helpful and quick with implementation.

Pros

Cons
some managers don't have time to filter thru the candidates on a daily basis and requires HR/recruiters to do the heavy lifting in filtering for experienced candidates.
