As a newer PT at ATI, it was really helpful to have someone outside my own clinic who I could openly talk to about patient care, clinical challenges, professional growth, and navigating my role as a PT. My mentor shared her own experiences and practical advice, which helped me look at situations from a different perspective. I also appreciated having a dedicated person to reach out to with questions. One thing I would add is an optional in-person session with the mentor. As a PT, it would be helpful to have some hands-on time to learn and practice clinical skills, techniques, or treatment approaches together.
