Service Works
We really like this program it has made a lot of things easier for our company invoicing estimates scheduling part orders customer history and being able to see what is going on with techs in the field in real time.
Pros
We really like being able to invoice and schedule from the same program
Cons
Still have a few glitches that cause daily issues, sometimes calls are lost ( or pervious calls) and this makes for angry customers

Stay far far away from ServiceWorks
This company was great for the onboarding process, but when I had issues with the mobile app nothing was addressed. The issues persisted, and when asking for a refund the company denied it. I used the app for 1.5 days, and they would not refund any of the one year subscription I paid for upfront. I did not even make it through the onboarding process, and they still refused to refund the payment.
Pros
It has potential to be good software, but the mobile app is entirely unusable due to bugs and constant crashes.
Cons
The mobile app has more bugs than the Amazon rainforest. It is literally unusable. When the issues were brought up during the onboarding process nothing was resolved, they just said to keep trying to use it. This is very subpar software that is so buggy it should not be released yet.

Highly recommend ServiceWorks
When we started with ServiceWorks in 2020, they met our needs and helped us get on track and stay there. Over the years, as our company has grown and evolved, ServiceWorks has been right there with us growning, changing and keeping up with our CRM needs.
Pros
ServiceWorks is a very high functioning CRM that helps us manage our appliance repair business very well. The reports are very diverse and give you eery type of KPI you could be looking for. The Customer data entry screen is very high functioning and helps you to track everything from basic customer information to warranty claims to advertising ROI.
Cons
The integration between the mobile app and the main system still has a few glitches especially when the techs are not near wifi signal

Service Works Audit
What most frustrates me is the scheduling, the maps and the real time gps. But for the rest it is easy
Pros
Can sign in from anywhere because all the database goes to a cloud, and the computer stations will not depend on a main server like others.
Cons
Route sheet, maps, gps does not work as it should because it does not show the location of a truck in a real time; the order of the appointments is always mixed up and can't never prioritize the order of the scheduled stops from 1st-last.

Service Works - I need help
Sadly I have to use a review to hopefully have someone look into my tickets. Unfortunately my customers have integrated with this system so I’m stuck for now
Pros
When it works it’s a great software. 80% of the time, the software works 100% of the way it should
Cons
Support. Or lack thereof. We raise tickets and they get closed without any action. We reopen them and get zero response. Waiting on an urgent ticket and all I’ve been told is “try back in 2-5 days”. Also have a ticket that’s been open for a year

Listen to your users more
Frustrating. And this survey makes it worse we choose the program because of its connection to swift link an appliance repair specific company. You don’t even have that as an option for the industry we work in.

It’s mobile friendly and works on the tablet so we can go paperless

They are constantly making updates and changes that makes the problems worse and don’t listen to what the problem actually is

Not a good tool
Miserable. Switching software to this made me consider quitting my job.
Pros
I cannot think of a single thing I like about service works.
Cons
Everything. The constant crashes on the mobile app. The loss of data, the various bugs and glitches, the lag when uploading things, and the lack of fixing bugs after pointing it out to tech support. This service is awful.

Update service and input issues and concerns
Well for now just trying to get use to it and learning how to operate they are alot of features that my office staff don't know how to implement. Need more support by just picking up the phone and talk to someone.

New system I had to changeover from another vender but need more training to use all features

Suggested implement for future release
My overall experience is positive, but with a few tweaks this program can be excellent
Pros
Once the company database is compiled and a user is trained the system is easy to use.
Cons
The inability to unenroute a technician if for whatever reason a technician has to reroute.

Worse Experience Ever
The onboarding was terrible; the communications were awful; after letting multiple people know the program was not a good fit we didn't get a call from anyone outside of the programer who documented our concerns. No follow up at all

The tool itself is a good tool and has alot of great feartures

Awful experience. Program was just simply not a good fit for our needs. We never launched and they refused to refund the $2000 for the one-year usage for the program.

How service works saved us at least one full time employee AND made our services better
Pros
The scheduling and ease of information gathering. The way it is setup we can easily navigate and find what our client wanted and we are now able to customise even more their experiences with us. It has removed a lot of non value added activities that we had to do manually. We have the opportunity to look for cost overruns and how efficient we are as a company every day and at any time we have access to progress reports.
Cons
The initial configuration is rather easy but being in Quebec, Canada has made some issues difficult for us in setting up taxes and linking up quick books. Otherwise the CRM, Dispatch, job creating software ticks all the boxes for us.

We are looking for another program to replace this one since we are very unhappy with the program.
Pros
The only thing I like about this program is the customization that we can do in the configuration.
Cons
There is a lot of redundancy in a lot of areas of the program. Also, when we migrated from Swiftlink to Service Works, a lot of our information didn't migrate properly, so I can't even use the reports feature to do billing. It is not and never has been accurate. Also, a lot of areas have too many steps that could be simplified.

being able to have calender schedule inside the program only having to enter in the original program.in the past we had to use two programs to complete these tasks..

Not functional for a retail business
We cannot get it to sync with quickbooks without multiple errors, You cannot do a paid out of your til for gas or refunds that were bought prior to switching over so balancing the til cannot be done with this program. We have contacted serviceworks rep many times and every time told they will get with someone and get back to us but we NEVER hear back unless we initiate it and then are told the same lame thing. We are currently looking for another program that is more functional and has better customer support.

good for bin cleaning
Pros
as a simple recurring service based business, it does all i need it to.
Cons
All the automations that I need as a bin cleaner are there, but they are all the basic versions. for example, auto text reminder automation is great but I cannot change what time that text goes out. I also cannot see all my customers on a map; which is key to understanding my business.

Great team, great pricing
The team is great. Onboarding wasn't as bad as we expected. Has all the features we needed that some of the others did not.
Pros
We like the ease of booking, scheduling and dispatching service calls.
Cons
Configuring wasn't as difficult as we expected but did take some time to get where we wanted. Team was super responsive though and I have no complaints.
