We use AA to create bots for multiple departments in a business-to-business industry. The bots have helped out multiple departments streamline their day-to-day operations. We have reduced the time taken to perform mundane tasks and we can perform these tasks at any time of the day, which was not possible before. The best part is that we can schedule the bots to run at any time of the day and they can run multiple times a day, making them a very useful tool. Automation Anywhere is the best software I've used recently to help me automate my workflow, saving me thousands of hours, I've used it for automating many processes like customer support, lead generation, CRM, HR processes, and more, and I've been able to remove 60% of my workload from my plate, I recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy and affordable way to help their business grow.

Cons

An additional OCR mode is something that would be welcome as the ability to enter text in a precise way. A thin client interface can always be improved, and other tasks could also be automated using panels and task editors. There isn't much to criticize concerning AA right now, the new UI in Automation anywhere's cloud version looks big though - like a word processing software. The debugger has too few options and it would have been better if it made the code more readable. Because of how large the text editor is, when used on bigger monitors, it was difficult to browse through longer pieces of code. Using another kind of file manager for saving projects could also have helped here.

With the help of a new technology called Automation Anywhere, I can avoid doing the same actions repeatedly by simply adhering to a set of rules for getting things done. Its system of automated procedures is first-rate. I like the high-tech automated processes it provides. It offers a variety of resources that may be used to build Bots quickly and effectively. Because of Automation Anywhere, it is now straightforward to handle [a large] work. I now have to do this on a daily basis, and I've delegated some of the jobs to Automation Anywhere's IQ Bot, so at least I'm not doing it all by myself. Just a single copy of the information is kept. Both my accounting and sales teams have benefited from it. Automation Anywhere couldn't be easier for the average user when it comes to setting up. The most exciting part of this tool is the opportunity to order all Bots by showing the vital material we intend to transmit.

Out-of-the-box artificial intelligence and machine learning features like image classification and NLP are not yet available in Automation Anywhere. Automation Anywhere 360, the newest release, is not stable. More frequent updates are being received. Control room integration problems with bot agents are a rare occurrence in Automation Anywhere 360.

Automation Anywhere provides powerful tools for automating tasks, but I think many of the commands that AA implements are complicating life like string manipulations, however I do like the Web Data Extraction
because it gives a great experience while automating web applications and extracting data from web pages.

Cons

Making things easy enough to allow non developers to make dev tasks and automations is not a good idea : these non developers will make low quality and bad coded solutions thatw will make the developer's task more complex.

As much as I like the pre-built user interfaces and modules, with the drag-and-drop for bringing the Low/No code experience to users, I believe it's still not even near the no-code as they mentioned, it's a low-code with basic programming knowledge required to achieve the great results, that's why they need to consider rebuilding the documentation or at least the onboarding journey to make sure everyone is capable of achieving the great results they promise. many of our juniors struggle in the beginning and our assistance is always required until they get used to it.

The limitations to how much processes can be automated with Automation Anywhere RPA is infinite.

Running process discoveries with Automation Anywhere is an uphill task.

Version AA 360 does no send updates frequently unlike its stable predecessors.

I love every capabilities of Automation 360 and the way it simplifies the automation and process management, I like the intelligent AI/ML technologies involved into it for making it easy to discover, approve, and improve workflows before making decisions. In particular, some important positive points emerged, including automating business processes to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve accuracy, workflows can be tracked, managed, and optimized, integration of powerful backend apps and APIs is available, and incorporate AI into business operations to eliminate manual chores, I believe that businesses that do not comprehend the performance of their processes are unlikely to succeed.

We noticed some of the following problems: the subscription cost is quite hefty for some of our clients, there are no mobile apps yet, and all functionalities have not been fully documented by the vendor.

There are plenty of features which Automation Anywhere team is adding in their new version of AA360 starting from Variable data types, number of excel operations, Package creation, Python integration, AI/ML integration of Microsoft & AWS & lot more.

Cons

Currently facing difficulty in migrating bots from v11 to AA360 as some features are not working on new version. Currently Automation Anywhere team is working on maturing the migration utility and will get it in coming releases.

Automation Anywhere features are easy to adapt on how they function and its interface is not that complex to understand, but it can take some time.

It has a nice interface that is easy to understand for a non-technical person. Provides ease of integration without the need to disrupt legacy systems. The most common features can be accessed through shortcuts. It has a good set of tools to automate various marketing, accounting, ERP and other processes.

The only thing that I consider that can be improved so far is the parameter management, which needs to be faster and more intuitive.

I love the way the drag and drop features are incorporated so the developer can focus more on semantics rather than the syntax. The ease of variable declaration, default variables and clipboard functionality does make it easier to develop as well as manage various elements of the program. Not to mention the various interfaces it can interact with that widens your automation scope beating off the limitations set by competitors.

Cons

You can launch the in-built Mainframe Emulator only when an automation is running. You need to run the automation and use pause after the desired steps if you want to capture or analyse the next steps. this some times make the development hectic.

Pros

The drag and drop feature of commands in Automation Anywhere makes coding quite easy. The lastest version 11.3.3 has the updated Bot Insight Dashboard where you can publish your data and can configure the data as per your requirement. Also for SAP related automation there is a new command SAP GUI which helps in automating SAP quite easily and quickly than using VB scripts or Metabots.

There are problems with the Control room of this software. Many a times the tasks uploaded in the control room cannot be deleted shows dependencies where in there are no dependencies. You have to get help of AA support team to get them deleted even if you have the roles and accesses to delete the tasks.

I have been working with Automation anywhere tool to automate multiple use cases ranging from handwritten docs to call centre scenarios . It's been an exiting journey and now it's discovery bot to AI enabled bot that we are looking forward to .

Have been using Automation Anywhere from 8th Version. I like the mass migration that the tool is having today, kicking from User Interface to extreme security concerns. Especially glad to have Metabot and IQBots implementation with Automation Anywhere and very special thanks to the Automation Anywhere support team helping us on critical scenarios.

Very rarely the common functions like Object cloning, Loop while *** exists fail and this kind of issues happen 2 times out of 300 times. If tool find any other options for RCA it would be more helpful on these rare scenarios.

There were few commands which needs improvement in behavior to solve problems like "selecting from drop-down", "Checking/Unchecking fields" etc. The available commands of AA can be improved to solve varying problems.

I can't see any cons in AA though I'd like to see the expand and collapse (+) feature for the Loop and If-Else condition. It will help to easily identify where the loop is getting started and where it is getting closed.

Interface would been more intuitive if it's flow based(something like one of the key competition in market) and also better to have this over web instead of local installation which is a pain sometime considering complex client environments.
