Hootsuite Review: Great for Content Management, but with Some Limitations
Hootsuite has been great for managing content and campaigns, with strong support and useful features like Amplify. However, it has limitations, such as no video thumbnails for LinkedIn and a 10-image limit for Instagram carousels.
Pros
Hootsuite has streamlined our content planning and sharing. As a Digital Marketing Manager, I’ve showcased our value on social media, while Amplify has empowered our sales team to boost website traffic and leads. The platform is easy to use, with excellent support from the Account Management team.
Cons
The reporting feature lacks drill-down options, lack of function for Instagram posting

2nd best social media management platform
Pretty solid platform with good support. There's a reason they've been around for more than a decade.
Pros
I think they're the second best social media management platform on the market outside of Buffer. You really just need a platform for scheduling, managing across multiple social accounts, and response management. They do great in all these factors.
Cons
They don't really offer any useful social listening capabilities. That being said using HootSuite + another tool like BuzzSumo will give you a way better results than just choosing an all-in-one like SproutSocial.

Great for consolidating accounts, expensive for small clients!
Hootsuite is great, however it became too expensive to justify when there were free tools we could use for our clients like Meta Business' scheduler, LinkedIn Scheduler and Databox for free reports.
However if your client's accounts are all business places and you want to schedule all in one place, Hootsuite just might be the tool for you!
Pros
Their analytics reports are awesome! Hootsuite allowed me to create and download custom analytic reports for clients (that they loved).
Cons
Over the past year, Hootsuite changed their plan structure. You no longer can create free accounts for clients. You also can only add business LinkedIn pages (I was unable to add personal accounts for clients).
Reasons for Choosing Hootsuite
At the time, Hootsuite was cheaper! We also had been using Hootsuite for 95% of our client accounts so our clients and team were familiar with the product and liked using it!Switched From
BufferReasons for Switching to Hootsuite
At the time, Hootsuite was cheaper and more familiar! We had been using free Hootsuite prior to upgrading!

Great entry-level brand management tool; at the right price
I've managed a variety of brands as agency brands using Hootsuite, especially early on in my career. I've considered it for other agency provisions however have opted for more advanced packages.
Pros
Hootsuite provides a variety of easy intuitive tools for online and social media brand management, including customer service and marketing. It's also at an excellent cost.
Cons
It's not as complex or insightful as other tools. But that's because it's cheaper and more basic.

It empowered us to have the best possible control over all of our social media posts.
Hootsuite made it easy for me to organize all of our social media accounts, the ability to schedule posts across multiple channels, and a comprehensive calendar view of all scheduled posts ensured that we were always fully coordinated.
Pros
I love Hootsuite, it’s awesome for social media management, it makes it easy and efficient for me to plan and organize my team’s content, and it’s really improved our social media presence in a professional way. I love how I can easily share content on additional channels, which helps increase website traffic and customer inquiries. It’s great that whether I’m uploading photos or videos, everything is simple and fast across all platforms, and the basic publishing options are clear and easy. I love how I can easily repeat the same post multiple times, perfect for when I need to extend the period of displaying a certain content. I love that Hootsuite has made responding to messages very simple, no need to switch between channels. Everything is in one place.
Cons
Scheduling rarely fails and when it does, it’s easy to fix. Hootsuite’s media library is amazing, it makes it easy to keep sharing and refreshing content seamless. Copying captions makes it easy to upload content instantly without any hassle.

One of the social cms to benchmark at.
It works, it is stable and has good relationships with the social media platforms so you can trust it to work. But don’t expect it to do much more than what’s expected of these tools.
Pros
It’s a standard tool we measure other social cms to. So it has all the basic functions for keeping your social media in sync.
Cons
It is staying behind the times compared to tools such as ContentStudio, predis, among others.

A Bit Clunky but Ultimately Helpful Social Network Content Planner
Overall, I enjoy Hootsuite. It is definitely a software that takes some getting used to. But once you figure it out, it's the best I have found. The price tag is high though.
Pros
Hootsuite's integration across practically all platforms makes it a great one-stop shop for companies with a wide social media network.
Cons
Hootsuite's interface is not the most easy to use/user-intuitive for new users. It requires a bit of learning to take full advantage of the features it provides.

Social networks easier to work with
I can do other activities without having to worry about the content on social networks, easy and simple to manage, managing to have satisfied customers
Pros
Hootsuite is a really useful tool that saves time and provides opportunities for better performance with strategies that have been successful when scheduling posts, it knows the most opportune moment for posts to have a greater reach and greater views to the public, achieving the achievement of goals, you can have a perfect follow-up of each post by keeping track of statistics. Its operation reduces work time at the time I do not have to be aware of the time or moment indicated to make posts on social networks with its programming I can establish the type of content to publish and Hootsuite takes care of the rest
Cons
For the moment there has never been anything that bothers me or has gone wrong

A great tool for social media management
It has been a great software and a game-changer for the marketing and analytics teams. It saves a lot of time and effort in posting content on multiple platforms. Its in-depth analysis has helped our team expand our reach and business.
Pros
It is a great and efficient scheduler for my posts across various social media platforms. It has an interactive user-interface, which helps do the work efficiently. Using its intelligence, the software also informs me the right time to post my content to enhance the user-engagement. Customer support is also good and prompt. It also offers an in-depth post analytics, for proper insights.
Cons
The pricing, in my opinion, is on the higher side, as compared to what its competitors are offering. Its posting feature on Instagram needs to be improved, otherwise it is a great tool

Overall, my experience with Hootsuite for managing a cafe's social media has been positive. The analytics feature allows tracking customer engagement, so we can adjust our social media strategies accordingly.
Pros
I liked most about Hootsuite is its ability to manage multiple social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) from one dashboard, allowing easy scheduling of posts like menu updates, promotions, or event announcements.

Best service
It saves me a lot of time when planning and publishing content on multiple platforms simultaneously. The analyzes it provides are very valuable to optimize my strategies. I highly recommend it for any business or brand that wants to improve its presence on social networks. Although the free version has certain limitations, the functions it offers are very complete. It was worth investing in a premium subscription to unlock advanced capabilities
Pros
I really like the easy-to-use interface and rich features that Hootsuite offers. It allows me to manage several social networks from a single platform and schedule content in advance. I also like the variety of analytics and metrics it provides to measure the performance of my posts. The integration with other tools and apps is very useful
Cons
What I like least is that some more advanced features are only available in paid plans. For example, the number of social profiles I can add in the free version is limited. Access to historical data is also restricted

I highly recommend
It managed to be one step ahead in my social media strategy by allowing me to easily manage and publish content on multiple social networks from a single interface. The statistical reports are also very complete. However, I missed some features exclusive to the paid version. In summary, for those who are just starting out and mainly use a network, the free version is functional, but to get the most out of it, I recommend having one of the plans that include more advanced tools.
Pros
I mainly liked the way Hootsuite makes it easy to publish content to multiple social networks on a schedule and in one place. The interface is very intuitive and allows you to create an easy-to-manage content strategy. With their calendars I can plan posts in advance, assign hashtags, and mention users. I also found the dashboard useful, which allows you to see the activity and engagement on each platform, as well as the statistical reports on reach and interaction. It is undoubtedly a great tool for those who must manage several profiles and do not want to constantly publish manually
Cons
What I liked least is that some features such as message alerts are only available on the paid plan. While I understand that it is a way for the company to earn income, for those just starting out with a small budget, those alerts could be useful. Another detail is that the programming does not allow as much flexibility when adjusting publication times when necessary. In general I feel that the free plan is somewhat limited and to get the most out of it it would be better to have the premium versions
