FreshBooks is a web-based accounting solution that caters to small businesses. FreshBooks serves various industries, such as marketing, legal services and business consulting, trades and home services and information technology (IT).
Key features of FreshBooks include invoicing, expense tracking, time tracking, reporting and payments management. Users can brand their invoices, accept online payments and set auto payment reminders. Expenses can be tracked by attaching receipts to invoices, creating recurring expenses and taking snapshots of receipts.
Financial statuses can be viewed through profit and loss statements, tax summaries and expense reports. FreshBooks categorizes credit card transactions fees and provides a summary of all deposits on its dashboard. Great Invoicing Tool for Time Tracking
Freshbooks does manage the following VERY well: Time tracking against projects and clients; invoice creation based on tracked time; and one-off invoices or flat rate pricing. I also like the clean and easy to navigate interface.Generating and reading historical reports is quick and easy to determine things like, how quickly specific clients are paying (and who is historically slower at paying), income by client and income by project/work type.The phone app is functional for my needs, although it's a little clunky and not nearly as full featured as the desktop software. It's not bad, but not great. I have successfully tracked time on the app, then issued an invoice from my phone to my client's email inbox.Overall, Freshbook fulfills my needs as a consultant.
Pros
I really like Freshbooks for it's easy invoicing and time tracking. I was able to integrate it with Teamwork project management software so that more complex jobs that require detailed time tracking against tasks and milestones could be tracked there and then my time could be exported to Freshbooks. Freshbooks also integrated with my Paypal gateway, allowing me to accept major credit cards.
Cons
Freshbooks collaboration with other contractors doesn't work very well. In addition, the per-client pricing has gotten pricey for those of us who have many one-off clients.The retainer payments feature was not easy to use.

FreshBooks is all that is needed to perfect financial operations.
It has been a very yielding journey getting utilize FreshBooks powerful accounting tools to sort out our financial situation. It has made it easy for us to manage our cash flow and to streamline our financial operations like budgeting and invoicing. FreshBooks gives us accurate financial reports that gives us vision about our financial situation and ways to make it better.
Pros
FreshBooks has a expenses monitoring function that gives us accurate expenditure insights to help us avoid overspending. It has very powerful data security functions that keeps our financial data very safe and confidential. FreshBooks also provides outstanding financial analytical and reporting tools that makes it easy to evaluate our financial health.
Cons
Honestly, all that could have gone right with FreshBooks has gone right leaving us with nothing to dislike about it at all.

Freshbooks great software for business owners
Pros
Freshbooks made it easy to manage accounts receivables and payables. You are able to easily create invoices and followup on any past due invoices.
Cons
Wish the price was a bit cheaper especially for business owners who are starting out, $40 a month , plus additional I believe $6 a month adds up quickly.

Managing our financial health has been so easy with FreshBooks. It allows us to track our cash flow which allows us to get useful financial insights that we need to maintain a healthy financial situation. It also makes it so easy to generate customized invoices to collect monthly payments from our clients.

FreshBooks has user-friendly invoice generator tool that allows us to create personalized invoices for clients. It has advanced cash flow analysis tools that gives us accurate financial reports to guide us on how to achieve healthy financial position. FreshBooks makes it easy to capture receipts which help us to track our expenses.
Cons
FreshBooks has not shown us anything bad. There genuinely lacks anything to like least.
