Drop Your Files on Dropbox
The Overall experience I would say was Good and it met all my needs from file transfer, cloud storage and sharing files between devices well.
Pros
The thing I like most about Drobox is its cloud storage which gives me extra storage which is very useful to me and also the file sharing feature is great and helps a lot while sharing files to others
Cons
The thing I like least is that it has limitations on the size of file or media you can upload and also it has high prices for cloud storage.

A Once-Revolutionary Platform Stuck in the Past
Lack of improvements, old UI, promises not kept.
Pros
Drag and Drop, and sharing. That's about it.
Cons
Dropbox felt revolutionary when it first came out. But it seemed to just stop improving or gaining any sort of upgrade several years ago. Its UI remained the same, reminiscent of the 2009 Hipster moment. Every time I would talk to a rep about what we were looking for in a tool, they would tell us it would be coming, and then it never did. There was no simple tagging of key words or metadata on files/photos to make it simple to find what we were looking for. We were using this for Digital Asset Management and it was incredibly lacking in that arena.

A Great Storage Solution for Your Business
Overall I enjoy Dropbox and their online support for any issues that I have had over the years. Their product is probably top of the class when it comes to file storage capabilities and integration.
Pros
The ability to share files with out of the organization individuals is very easy and very convenient. Requesting files from out of the organization individuals is a pretty seamless process too.
Cons
The least thing I like about Dropbox Business is not having the ability to nuke all shares. There should be a way to disable or delete all shares from a top folder level. On the same side of the coin, there should be an area as an admin to see ALL shares across the organization.

Easy to edit documents
Dropbox Business met our needs although it could be better with some small changes.
Pros
Dropbox Business has a desktop and mobile app. I prefer the desktop app.
Frequently used shortcuts are large and located in the middle of the screen.
Deleted files stay in a trash folder which can be convenient. Administrators have discretion on file sharing and commenting. Team folders are another convenience, everyone on the team can view the files. Public folders allow anyone to view it until the expiration date. Password is optional.
It is easy to edit PDF documents and add annotations such as highlighting.
Customer support options are actually plentiful, they include a help center, PDF guide, email, chat, and phone.
Data safety is high.
Cons
Dropbox Business is expensive and some services are not included or are add ons (data governance for example)
Photo editor is not as good as I expected.
Dropbox Paper is included with the subscription however it will not read files from another service which is problematic.

Dropbox business medium bussines
I had really had a good experience as a personal user but in the company when I implemented it the cost was very high so I had to reduce the users who really had access and who needed their information at hand.
Pros
I liked that we could store information from a computer and transfer it to a mobile phone without having to send emails and have the information from any computer linked to the user.
Cons
the cost of this platform per user was very expensive and if the user really used it for storage it could be profitable but if not it was too expensive to be an information channel.

Good for what it does, but too pricey to be my favorite
I like Dropbox Business as a cloud storage solution, but feel strongly that it does not hold up as an all-in-one product. You still need other products to get your work done and/or integrate them with Dropbox Business.
Pros
Dropbox Business has an ease of use for those who are low tech savvy. I find it to be an intuitive interface for navigating, uploading, and organizing files quite similar to the File Explorer within Windows computers. Thus, it was simple to figure out how to use Dropbox Business. Better than File Explorer is Dropbox Business's version history log and ability to restore deleted files - this has saved me more times than I can count. Of course, the selling point is large file storage and ability to send large files which is extremely helpful with media like videos in particular.
Cons
These days, the cloud is a very expensive place to own property. There is no beating around the bush that Dropbox Business is more costly than competitors. The price for this product is hardly comparable to a product like Google Workspace which hosts a variety of tools. Dropbox Business has some catching up to do there. The only advantage Dropbox Business has is storage size. There have also been times where the Dropbox system slows or freezes. I'd like to think that in 2024 we are past having files freeze up so this is a bit annoying.

dropbox overall experience
Using Dropbox is like having a digital filing cabinet that you can access from anywhere. It's great for keeping all your important files in one place and sharing them with others. The platform is user-friendly, making it easy to upload, organize, and find your documents.
One of the best things about Dropbox is that it syncs your files across all your devices, so you always have the latest version. It's like magic – update a document on your computer, and it automatically updates on your phone or tablet. This real-time synchronization is a lifesaver for collaboration and team projects.
Sharing files with others is a breeze. Whether it's photos, documents, or videos, you can send a link to anyone, and they can access the file without needing a Dropbox account. The flexibility in adjusting access permissions ensures your files are secure.
However, there are a few things to watch out for. The free version comes with limited space, so if you have a ton of files, you might need to upgrade to a paid plan. And while the security features are robust, you might still worry about storing super sensitive stuff on the cloud.
Overall, Dropbox is like a reliable virtual assistant for your files. It has some quirks, but it gets the job done – helping you stay organized, collaborate seamlessly, and access your files anytime, anywhere.
Pros
Dropbox, as a cloud-based file storage and collaboration platform, offers several advantages that make it a popular choice for individuals and businesses:
One of the primary benefits of Dropbox is its user-friendly interface and ease of use. The platform allows users to seamlessly upload, organize, and share files, fostering collaboration and enhancing productivity. Its intuitive design makes it accessible to individuals with varying levels of technical expertise.
Cons
The free version of Dropbox comes with limited storage space. For users with extensive storage requirements, the free plan may not be sufficient, and upgrading to a paid plan can become necessary, leading to increased expenses.

Dropbox Business Review
Our overall experience with Dropbox has been superb. We definitely got the return for investing in the platform and we got that back in a short period of time. The collaboration between the team has been seamless since we all work remotely, we can easily manage our files and documents, we can manage our storage without too many problems and we can now deliver to our clients in time and efficiently. The pricing is fair and it's easy to use as compared to other platforms in the same space and has been an industry leader in this space for years as well.
Pros
Dropbox has made my life and my team's life a lot easier when it comes to managing and sharing files within the team. Having a central repository where we can share and interact with the different files we use as a team has been really smooth for our business processes. As a Sales team that is working remotely, Dropbox solved a problem that we never thought we would have, until we all started working remotely because of covid and the lockdowns. The cloud storage offering from Dropbox has been critical in ensuring our efficiency as a team, and having the ability to operate on different operating systems was a plus to the team. It has definitely made collaboration smoother, you have multiple ways of sharing files and documents, and the fact that it integrates with other major platforms that you might already be using as an organization is a relief. One feature we love as a team as well is the seamless sync option from different devices, which makes collaboration a lot easier as everything we do is updated in real-time and syncs across all devices.
Cons
The major issue for us was that sometimes it takes longer to load large files and if you are on a deadline, it can mess with you. In most cases, it takes way longer to load larger files than it should normally do. That is my main challenge with Dropbox at the moment

The main player in its field
A solid and very well-known and estabilished file sharing service, with thousands of 3rd party integrations and solid features to store and sync your files and share or collaborate as needed. A first-class player in the field, and for good reasons.
Pros
Huge space available, with a nice UI to manage your files in an intuitive way, and a desktop and mobile app to access, sync and backup you stuff.
Cons

Review of dropbox buinsess
My overall experience with dropbox business has been great. The fact that I am still with them is a tell tale sign that the product offers everything I need at a reasonable price.
Pros
Dropbox business enables easy sharing and synchronization of files across many devices which is great; it also integrates with popular tools like Microsoft Office 365 and Zoom amongst others.
I'm not a techy person but the security measures are supposedly top notch.
They use advanced encryption which is essential these days.
In case of device loss or theft, you can remotely delete Dropbox data from anywhere.
They offer flexible storage plans based on your specific ussage.
You can access all files without taking up local storage space, as files are stored in the cloud until needed
24/7 Support!
Cons

The inventor of cloud service is still the best but has not evolved that much
Just the best file cloud service around. It could be more (mail missing, paper not really a solution, passwords not always working with many browsers)
Pros
The best for bandwidth management. A robust cloud mirror management.
An effective filetransfer solution.
Cons
Sometimes not the best integration with MacOs finder (icons and mouse menu disappearing). Still the cache management could improve (especially when you're freeing up space). Not the all the add-one were really needed or are well working. For a cloud service that aims to become a digital workplace, I miss an integrated mail service (like gmail or zoom mail)

Dropbox Business - a users approach on a daily basis
I use it on a daily basis for file collaboration with my team. Any group information is easily shared across, the data is updated in real time. It has a facility to track the file usage by different users and yes has a high security mechanism. It only allows authorised users to enter in. I also use it for progress tracking of my sprint tasks
Pros
I like its efficiency in storage management. Its go to approach. It’s fast tracking system. The retrieval is also faster and the storage. The file sync is in realtime which makes a highlight. Recommend highly
Cons
Pricing is high slightly, the initial investment in terms of teaching users is bit more. The maintenance required professional training. So overall I can say it is slightly costly

Good Value for the Cost
Overall, I had already researched alternatives and Dropbox Business has competitive pricing for the services offered. I'm not sure if you already have this b/c I haven't checked, but having a desktop app is a huge perk I've seen with box.com for other work.
Pros
Storage options are generous, folder and subfolder creation is good and user friendly.
Cons

Great for larger businesses
While Dropbox Business offers A LOT of space, I didn't need that much space personally. I enjoyed the product and can see how it would make sense for larger businesses but I ended up switching to Google Drive since Google Drive is Free and DocHub for signing and contracts. I pay much less and can still house all the files I need.
Pros
With 3TB of storage, Dropbox Business offered me a TON of space to store family photos, documents, and other products. I also loved the search function so I could easily find things. It was also incredibly easy to invite collaborators and I utilized the signature feature more than once to sign documents.
Cons
While it offered a lot of space, I think the pricing was a bit much. I ended up switching to Google Drive for storage and DocHub for signature purposes instead to save on costs.

Excellent system to store files.
Highly recommend this to anyone needing to share files and collaborate amongst various team members across the US or different cities. Ease of use and accessibility were always top notch.
Pros
This made it very easy to collaborate between home, office, and a variety of different colleagues. We used Dropbox to house all of our working files for creative work. It doubled as a server to store and archive all of our social media marketing, creative files, and marketing needs. It made team cross collaboration very smooth and easy when people were working in different areas of the city.

Reliable and Scalable Cloud Storage Solution for Teams
My overall experience with Dropbox Business has been positive. It’s a dependable solution for secure file storage and collaboration. The platform has enhanced team productivity by ensuring everyone has access to the latest files regardless of location. Dropbox’s integration capabilities with other tools in our tech stack further streamline our workflows.
Pros
The most appealing aspects of Dropbox Business for me were its dependable file synchronization across devices and its smooth collaboration tools. Even with huge teams, managing and sharing files is made simple by the user-friendly interface. The admin controls and granular permissions are great for protecting data security without sacrificing flexibility. By storing rarely used files in the cloud and making them still available from the desktop, the Smart Sync feature helps optimize storage usage.
Cons
When working with very large files, Dropbox Business occasionally experiences synchronization delays, which is what I liked least about it. Furthermore, the cost may be a little higher than with other cloud storage options, particularly for smaller teams or companies.

Dropbox is Essential to our Business
Overall we like Dropbox a LOT and use it every day. If I had the option I'd go back in time and have started using it earlier.
Pros
Dropbox for business is one of the most essential business services we use. To be honest we used the free version for many years, then upgraded several times until we got to where we are now. We are willing to pay for the cloud storage because it secures our data off site and allows us to access it out of the office. That doesn't seem like a big deal today but it wasn't always as easy as it is now.
We basically use it as a file cabinet and keep about half our active files in it and use it as an archive for all our old files. It's accessed every single day and at this point we couldn't live without it.
I highly recommend Dropbox for Businesses.
Cons
One of the main cons is that we are not able to have multiple people working on the same document at the same time like Google Drive. So we have pivoted and keep more of our PDF's and non living files in Dropbox.

Good cloud storage solution
I really like using Dropbox Business. My files are always available no matter what device I am using. They are easy to find and organize too. I use this mostly internally but occasionally I will need to send a file to a customer and I like that they have no problem opening the link.
Pros
My favorite thing about Dropbox business is that it stays up to date no matter what device I am using. When I travel I use my iPad and cell phone and when I'm in the office I am on my laptop and no matter how I access this, the files are always up to date.
Cons
It seems like I am upgrading my storage all the time. I wish there was a larger option for a cheaper price. The price just seems to keep going up.
