Blink : An easy collaborative tool to share information inside the teams !
This tool is very useful, and I'm using it every day - even every minute - to share information with my team, or other people of my company. The global feed and the "history" allow also to don't miss information.
Pros
The product is easy to use. The possibility to create group is very interesting, as group can be done with the right persons to talk a specific subject. The global feed allows to share general information about the company.
Cons
The copy / paste option is working only in the blink feed. No possibility to copy directly to a Google Mail by example.

Cheap and unnecessary
Moving from Slack to Blink was a huge downgrade.
Pros
It attempts to play in the space of Slack.
Cons
It does everything other chat apps do in a worse manner or is poorly implemented.
I sent multiple bugs back to the company and none were interpreted correctly or I was told the issue I was facing in one platform was fixed in another platform.

Alternative Intranet
We're still playing around with the features but so far after less than a month we are happy with what we are working with.
Pros
- free for up to 20 users
- great alternative to a company intranet / communication portal for the micro businesses who want to share their management system documentation with field staff and don't want to fork out expensive licences with Microsoft for similar products like yammer / SharePoint.
- if you are IT savvy and know how to build microapps feature will draw your attention.
- Can download on android and iOS devices
- Has a desktop app for windows and iOS devices
Cons
- you have to purchase the premier package at a monthly cost per user to do branding. It would be good if there was a fixed fee per month for up to 10 users for the small companies e.g. £20 plus VAT.
Reasons for Switching to Blink
- Cost - No clutter - Simply and easy to setup and run with- Industry: Hospital & Health Care

Refreshingly intuitive way to communicate with colleagues
Pros
It is very intuitive and easy to use. The workflows are generated easily and it allows you to effectively communicate with your team members and even with contacts outside of your organization. I like that we can also have private conversations so it makes it simpler and better to use than conventional tools like emails.
Cons
Something to improve would be to find a way to reduce the crowd on the feed. It might become a lot to see at first and sometimes depending on the kind of messages you see, it may be negative too.

Since Blink ...
Overall I have found Blink to be a really good tool. It is the first thing I look at in the morning. I spend my first 15 minutes in the morning checking Blink for any new Policies, information on new Covid rules or just nice posts from our services celebrating a customer's birthday or a day out at the seaside for the individuals we support - working in shared services it is so nice to see the people we support out and about and enjoying their lives - something we would probably have seen in a quarterly newsletter prior to Blink.
Pros
Since Blink was introduced into our company it has changed the way we communicate. Prior to it's introduction we had no central communication hub. We have over 100 care homes, very many staff and customers all over the UK, so we are very remote from each other.
Since Blink was introduced, we can now see posts from other services showing their activities and milestone celebrations. It connects central services to our homes and each home with each other making us feel part of the wider company rather than just a lone care home. This has been particularly important during the isolation of Covid in the past year and a half.
We also have all of our policies and procedures in one place on the Blink Hub.
Cons
A bit like Facebook - once a post has gone down the feed it is sometimes hard to find again if you need to refer to it again, this is especially difficult if the post is important information - say new rules regarding Covid.
Sometimes it is hard to find a particular Policy or Procedure in the Hub - but that might be more about how and where it is uploaded - I am not sure?

Useful App and Resource for Corporate Communications
My overall experience so far, has been positive.
Pros
I like the Hub and quick/direct links to our firm platform portals. Blink is also been a great tool to use and publish timely announcement and feature articles. I like being able to post as either myself or part of the Communications Team and the ability to view post analytics. It would be interesting and perhaps useful to connect/align Blink posts with Slack and/or Microsoft Teams since the majority of our employees also use those tools to communicate and collaborate with each other.
Cons
I am not sure if many others within my organization use the Chats feature since there are already so many other tools and applications that provide that functionality for us.
Response from Blink
Hi NhaVinh, thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that your overall experience with Blink has been positive. Great Application, Greater Company
The company is amazing to work with! They hear you and work hard to make their product the best it can be
Pros
This app makes other apps like slack look like a joke. It channels, feeds, documents, integrations. So much more for less.
Cons
On occasion we have to refresh the app. Not the end of the world by any means and I feel confident they'll work through random bugs!

Excellent software

Cons
There is nothing to dislike about Blink :)

Team communication has improved, especially with the speed of getting things out there. Also noticed a morale boost at launch.
Pros
The product is really user friendly. Admin functions are straight forward and nothing is too many clicks away.
Cons
Occasionally when posting pics into the feed, they display as a link as opposed to the picture but with some fiddling i can usually solve this issue.

Blink Review
Love how easy and intuitive the system is. Very easy to post to different groups of people when we have so many different teams. The system is perfect for both important employee update posts and also more informal update posts!
Pros
Extremely intuitive software and makes it incredible easy to update employees instantaneously! (Especially when you have so many!)
Cons
Nothing of note - I know that some employees have had problems with sending posts to specific teams but I think admins need to update their access as opposed to it being a system fault

Exceptional…. we seen great feedback in terms of engagement and overall the front line workers now express themselves which we would never seen or shown the Leadership team. Also we can deliver first hand information direct to the phone which is instant. We have been able to create a frontline platform and generate team inclusion.
Pros
Function, user friendly and the team at Blink. They understand the business we are and what the objective was to deliver to the frontline workers.
