Reliable System, Highly expandable and Robost

We have used BM for almost 10 years, most of the issues we have has with the software, were user errors. The numbers in the system are unquestionable and reliable, we have a lot of faith in the system. and the support is often quick to address our problems.

Pros

All in One Software, SAP is rock Solid, reliable and well respected. BatchMaster running on SAP is can be customized to anything we require although out of the box it's good enough for us.

Cons

the SDS module built in Module is VERY cumbersome and need a COMPLETE over haul, it's slow it's tedious and often causes problems as the entire design of the module is archaic and needs vast improvement. It should not be using WORD.DOT and it should not accumulate in size when making more than one as the resources required can crash the computer. I know there are addon SDS modules but they can be expensive and also require a lot of time to set up. If this were streamlined I would have given the system a 5/5.

Controller

It has been very beneficial for keeping track of inventory, including labor & overhead costs & valuating on hand items. The dashboards are usually helpful but often times I have a problem reconciling transactions.

Pros

It interfaces with our accounting software.
Issuing support tickets is easy & most of the time are addressed promptly.

Cons

Ease of use/learning different features. And some features such as using warehouse location, row, aisle, bin & rack are not capable of using to setup a warehouse and assign specific areas to locate items. We had to pay additional $ for them to manipulate the program & hopefully it will work.

Response from OptiProERP

Thank you, Alecia, for taking the time to share your thoughts about BatchMaster ERP. We’re glad that our solution has helped you better manage inventory and costing and that the software's interface with your accounting system and the ease of issuing support tickets have been beneficial. We appreciate your constructive feedback regarding the warehouse setup features and the learning curve of some functionality. Enhancing ease of use is our priority, and your insights will help guide future improvements. We’ve relayed your feedback to our product team and may follow up with you for further questions. We really appreciate your and customer feedback to continuously enhance our products.

Great Value

Overall our experience has been positive. We had a very difficult and complex use case that BatchMaster was able to support for us through implementation. We required several complex/unique customizations that BatchMaster was able to perform.

Pros

Traceability of lots/raw materials is a breeze, you can track down every single unit of a given product in moments.

Cons

Sometimes the wording used in small specific menus can be a little misleading. Using synonyms for words that native English speakers might call something else.

Response from OptiProERP

Thank you, George, for your kind words and detailed feedback! We’re delighted that BatchMaster ERP’s traceability features have positively impacted your operations. We also appreciate your note about menu wording—making terminology more intuitive is something we continuously work on. Hearing how BatchMaster’s customizations supported your complex use case is wonderful. Our team is always ready to assist if you have any issues or suggestions. Thank you for choosing BatchMaster!

Very good value for the cost.

Our overall experience has been acceptable in terms of value/benefit.

Pros

BatchMaster offered a proportionally advantageous depth for our operational budget.

BatchMaster works well with our company since we are Paint Manufacturer, we bought the financial module in year 2018 and get rid of Sage. now we only need to maintain one ERP system instead of two.

BatchMaster Review

The BatchMaster team is professional, attentive to our needs, and responds promptly and positively.

Pros

BatchMaster listens to our business needs and then they implement their solution accordingly.

Cons

The system works great. The only thing I would recommend is to have their support team push back when the client asks for customizations and discourage and encourage them to try the out of the box solution first

Response from OptiProERP

Thank you, Patrick, for your positive review and highlighting our team’s commitment to listening and implementing solutions tailored to your business needs. We appreciate your suggestion to encourage clients to explore out-of-the-box solution first before considering customizations—it’s a valuable perspective we’ll take into account. We’re thrilled to know that your experience with our professional and attentive team has been so positive. Thank you again for your feedback and partnership!

BatchMaster gets easier!

Using batchmaster overall has been a positive experience. It calculates all the ingredients properly and very seldom makes mistakes on batch quantity.

Pros

The pros about the software is that mistakes are caught early on in the process. If a mistake is made you are more than likely to find it during the initial process.

Cons

Learning the software is difficult and not user friendly. The layout of the modules are not as easy as I would like them to be. Understanding each module and it’s fuctions does take time.

Absolute dream for any pharma company

Pros

This is the best hand down for any pharmaceutical manufaturing business. Amazingly easy to use, will streamline your biz while keeping you in line with FDA reg's. This has it all, does not matter if you do your own med's or no this will help you with your:
R&D, product development, production, quality, inventory, FDA traceability, FDA compliance, scheduling, and warehousing.

Cons

When it comes to getting it right.. There is nothing missing here. Made for larger pharm corps. but all in all this is the best thing to have for your pharma buniness.

Pros

Very easy to use and the integration between our financial software and the manufacturing software work great.

Sometimes, the programming can be a little bit clunky, but it is not too bad at its worst. There are a lot worse software systems out there.

Batchmaster Is a Big Help to our Company

Pros

I think Batchmaster is a great, easy to use ERP system. Their customer support team seems to be very knowledgeable and they are very quick to respond when you are having issues or need a quick tip. The best part is the user friendly interface, it doesn't take much practice before you start feeling like you really know your way around the system.

Cons

It's hard to say. I think it would be nice if there was the ability to interface with more than one financial database. We have company's in the US and Canada so we have to use different versions of financial software but we cannot interface both with the same instance of Batchmaster. Whether this is something Batchmaster can change or not I'm not sure, maybe we need to look at different finance software options.
