Efficient BI Tool
Sisense is a comprehensive BI solution that excels in data integration, transformation, and visualization. Despite minor drawbacks, it provides a scalable, user-centric platform ideal for organizations seeking advanced analytics. Its adaptability makes it particularly effective for in-depth financial reporting and dynamic dashboards
Pros
Sisense's ability to handle complex data from multiple sources and its robust visualization tools stand out. The ElastiCube offers excellent flexibility, enabling custom transformations and efficient querying for large datasets. Its integration capabilities, including Salesforce and SQL, make it a powerful tool for seamless BI operations. The BloX widget is particularly valuable for creating interactive, customizable dashboards.
Cons
The steep learning curve for new users and occasional performance lags with large datasets are downsides. Advanced features like BloX can be challenging without sufficient documentation, and the UI sometimes lacks intuitiveness. Customizations might require considerable effort

Powerful BI for Enterprise!
Pros
Sisense is powerful for visualisation and it supports a lot of different type of graphs. The caching layer is done well, reducing cost for processing on data warehouse.
Cons
Some features are buggy for large enterprise. For example, the sidebar that syncs the schema and table available will stop syncing if the data warehouse has too many tables. These data are still queryable just not searchable on the UI.

A user friendly BI tool for dashboard development
Worked with Sisense for about 1,5 years. The elasticubes were slightly difficult to manage and datasources had to be sometimes manually maintained. However, the Sisense interface for dashboard building is probably the most user-friendly among the existing BI tools, making dashboard building and exploration an easy feat.
Pros
Drag and drop interface, the way all widgets snap in place. Also, the fact that you can customize the interface with your own JavaScript and CSS code. In terms of dashboard exploration, Sisense has this easy to dive in feature, where you can zoom in in a certain area of a chart, and find more details about that specific segment.
Cons
The Elasticub manager is a bit heavy environment, where data modeling sometimes is cumbersome. One cannot get a quick preview of data mashuo output.

Sisense is just another BI tool
I liked that it promised features that were lacking in our current tool, PowerBI. However, at the end of the day, it took an extremely long time to set up and didn't end up being the perfect solution that everyone hoped it would be.
Pros
I think that there are lots of really good integrations and some really strong reporting and notification options
Cons
This product seemed to take a long time to implement, but I wasn't on the team building the reports so I cannot say what problems they encountered along the way.

Overall okay experience with Sisense compared to the previous tool we’re using.

API integrations to Zendesk which is a very nifty feature.
Cons
A bit tricky when complex dashboards are being done.

Quick to set up plug and play data visualization tool that is more on the budget friendly side
Pros
Unlike Looker or Tableau, you don't need an elaborate data model to start building dashboards. You can just plug in your data source and with some basic SQL, have decent dashboards. The verified badge on the dashboards and data alerts are also super useful.
Cons
I don't think the data import options from various sources is working very efficiently.

Good support system and proactive issue resolution especially after moving to sisense managed...
Data to market was ultra quick with no teething issues.
Pros
Intuitive data interface: Elasticube GUI is very intuitive to use, especially building calculated columns, duplicating a column, aliasing, etc.
Easy dashboard creation process: For simple dashboards, not much tech skills required. Advanced use-cases have a robust community in place where you pick up plugins that give the right solution to your problem, usually with examples which
Granular access control: with cube-level and row-level access restrictions, you can ensure that the right audience have access to the right information.
White-labeling and web integration with SSO: As an OEM, this was a primary ask and Sisense extended great support to help us achieve this.
Ability to consume huge data sets: No preaggregates and hence drill down to the most granular level.
Cons
Limitations on how and where I would like my filters to go; ability to filter by clicking on legends; no proactive version upgrades on sisense managed cloud; greater control over retinal elements of visualization.

A strong tool to build BI value fast
Sisense makes you think about BI at the next level. It removes the dependency of cumbersome IT functions and gives the power of data right into the hands of the business. The deployment speed and the ease of value delivery sets it apart. Its visuals are clear, easy to build, interactive and flexible. It can deliver BI and analytics at a fraction of the cost of its competitors. With 18 years in BI and analytics, working with most tools, this is probably the first one that understood the end game of BI: it is not about IT, it is about the business.
Pros
Sisense is super fast to deploy and roll out. It is feather light on traditional IT resources allowing focusing on analytics instead of never ending implementation meetings. Super fast and easy value delivery through dashboards on any screen. The Pulse feature with which users can pick their own selection of KPIs is superb. Meshing up live data with any data source allows for adding the platform to digital products as well as be the go to tool for the business with deployment times under a day. Sisense is the way to go if you are aiming for a flexible analytics function that is deeply embedded in every business area.
Cons
I would not really call these cons, Sisense development is fast with a huge dev community. Yes, you still need to build your semantic layer and there is room for further improvements from Sisense. Some basic formatting options are missing that makes export to PDF a pain, no option to export to PDF. Some Java related stability issues and the function set has much room for improvement.

SiSense Customer Survey 12-04-2018
For what is it, it strike a good balance of functionality for the price. It did not require a lot of in depth training or professional services to get the software up and running.
Pros
The ease in setting up the software and future software upgrades. The use of the software is pretty straight forward. The use of webinars and 10 day startup program made it fairly easy to get started and become successful. The user support though the use of additional plug-Ins to improve functionality is a great way to enhance the usefulness of the product without a lot of time and/or expense.
Cons
They should include a report writing feature, that will allow users to create formatted reports beyond graphical dashboards. Also I would like to see a more varied color palette for the charts beyond the basic color palette. Some competitors include both these things to which make for a more robust product.

Solid BI Platform, great client-side / customer features. Excited to see what comes next
At TRACK Hospitality Software, we are delivering Cloud based applications for the independent travel market. Our biggest problem was responding to our customer base's demands for data and analytics about their business. Sisense is allowing us to turn our existing set of table-based reports into a powerful set of dashboards that bring BI analytics to all our customers. The team at Sisense has been world class and empowering us with the deployment and development tools needed to bring our solution to our customers.
Pros
Excellent client-side dashboard design tools and capabilities.
Exhaustive support for importing of data from a huge variety of sources. Very good UI for design and manipulation of data sources.
Simple setup and deployment, really does make going from nothing to great looking data dashboards lightning fast.
Good extensibility model with world class REST API support for managing and handling deployments.
Cons
Product lacks good support for multi-organization deployments: Sisense is tailored very much to be a large enterprise type of application, so deployments involving multiple sets of customers require additional development cost.
Product can stand to improve with better support for micro-level date and time based data sets.
Needs better support for software development lifecycle models, (e.g. dashboard versioning, widget repository)

Sisense Great for Small Business
We've been able to produce dashboards that help our clients (many of whom are small businesses) reduce wasted time on repetitive reports and increase productivity, in addition to assisting them with altering their sales practices to improve performance. We've also been able to use Sisense for a number of internal projects that help our company come up with simple answers to complex questions.
Pros
One of the most impressive parts of the software has been its flexibility. With ever widening options for data sources, the ease of rapid dashboard development/design, and the fantastic Elasticube manager tool, we've found even more possibilities with the software than originally anticipated.
Cons
There's not much at all we don't like about Sisense. Initially, coming from other BI software, learning the structure and methodology behind designing Elasticubes to meet our needs was a bit difficult, however the experts assigned to our business made the process go pretty quickly, and gave me a great foundation to start developing analytical content for our clients. We've had a couple instances where we'd wished for more prompt support, but those issues were quickly resolved by getting in contact with our Customer Success Manager. All in all, it's been a great experience, much better than some of the other big players in the industry.

Easy to use, good end user experience
Prior to Sisense, we used to make charts in excel to have some kind of data visualization. This was an issue, because there are a lot of reports, and it's not easy to jump from one excel to another. Now we have dashboards that have the data updated at every hour. The top management have all that data that they need in a single application, that can also be accessed from the phone.
Pros
Easy to create a cube (basic SQL), to design a dashboard with no prior experience in dashboard design.
The visualizations are great, the dashboards are very appealing to the end user. The customer support is also great.
Cons
there are still some ideas that we couldn't implement in dashboards, but hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Robust and easy to use.
Dynamic, active feedback on current metrics. This allows our radiologists to monitor their productivity throughout the day as well as receive alerts for critical cases that are about to exceed our turnaround time commitments. We have been able to realign our schedule and shifts to better meet the actual demands of our client hospitals.
Pros
The onboarding process was especially well put together. I found the concepts easy to grasp and the product was much more powerful and much more he user-friendly than other BI solutions that I have tried. Additionally, the availability of plug-ins as well as other customizable features make this product very adaptable to my needs.
Cons
Haven't really found any serious issues.

Sisense has exceeded our expectations on the product level and most certainly with their...
Pros
Whereas our organization is working its way through the setup & implementation phase, we have so far seen how the product will not only improve upon our internal efficiencies, it will enable us to grant access to our client base/external users in a manner not easily available prior to our commitment to the product. The product itself is on the lower level of ease regarding navigation once the Elasticube is properly set up.
Just as important as the product is the Sisense team itself. From our Sales Manager (Connor) to our Customer Success Manager and Onboarding Manager, each have expressed a sincere commitment to ensuring a successful & efficient implementation of the product. They have not left us with a sense that we were just sold a product and once the deal was closed, they were ready to move on to the next deal.
Cons
From our experience, the product definitely requires someone to be well-versed in SQL to complete the Elasticube setup.

The very best BI platform that I have worked with hands down.
Sisense allowed us to implement complex analytics solutions with data acquisition from many data sources . The overall performance of the ElastiCube and out of the box data adapters gave us the tools we needed.
Pros
Having it all delivered over the web has simplified and accelerated our ability to deliver high quality solutions quickly and cost effectively. It's great no to have to have any fat client foot print on any of our workstations or mobile devices.
Cons
Always looking for more features and functionality. In particular, being able to produce columnar multi page reports on the same platform would be a killer capability.
