In a perfect world, Cubase would be the industry standard over Pro Tools. While Pro Tools was struggling to have plugin delay compensation, Cubase was introducing amazing features like VariAudio (manipulate and correct vocal pitch \& timing), Audio Quantize, Folder Tracks, Multiple Take lanes with Comping Tools, and so much more. Automation is easy to implement. Zooming in and out, vertically and horizontally both in the Edit window and MixConsole is wide open and completely customizable. Colourizing and the option to import custom track icons makes identification at-a-glance a breeze. Export Mixdown options are incredibly variable and easy to implement multiple mixdown formats (incl.
