ManageEngine does it's job, but could do it better
Overall, it was just OK. Our price got increased nearly 14% which combined with poor support and not great UI, was enough to get us to look elsewhere. The patching and endpoint management piece of the software was more than adequate though.
Pros
ManageEngine Endpoint Central did it's job. It patched our systems.
Cons
The UI is incredibly frustrating to get used to. Very cluttered and not sure where the things I need are at.

The cost compared to the features is outstanding. You get many tools to help support the organisation and the remote desktop support is amazing and easy to use for both the admin and the end user.
Pros
Great patch management and software deployment.
Cons
Although generally cost-effective, some features are only accessible in higher-tier plans, which may not be ideal for smaller organizations with limited budgets. Additionally, the licensing structure can be challenging to understand.

Manage Engine Endpoint Central - like having another employee.
Overall, this trial has been a good experience. We have successfully installed many patches and updates across our network within just three weeks' time. However, there are many left unpatched, and more time and troubleshooting will be needed to continue working through the reasons why failures are happening. This may be due to our network restrictions, and not fully the fault of ManageEngine EPC. This is a product we wish to fully implement in our organization to improve our security and make a part of our cybersecurity initiative.
Pros
The ability to quickly gather data, inventory, as well as vulnerabilities and security concerns present on the network is invaluable. The remote access features are so handy and the time saved is amazing. It's like having another employee. Installation on our server was straightforward. We are still exploring all the things ManageEngine Endpoint Central can do, and we look forward to implementing it in our organization once we get approval.
Cons
Some of the patching processes are not intuitive. There is a learning curve to the entire program (which is expected), and it takes time and configuring to get some things working. While most failures point you to a solution to fix the issue, some error messages are vague, and solutions are not readily apparent. Sometimes failures to install a patch are left unexplained.

Very Impressed by the feature set of this product compared to competitors
I am very pleased with the platform thus far and am awaiting the launch of the new machine Quarantine feature later this year which be of great value in enforcing compliance policies on our machines.
Pros
The number of capabilities baked into this platform is unmatched.
Ease of use in adding applications to the Prohibit Software list and have them get auto uninstalled in such a time saver and great help for maintaining compliance.
Automate Patch Deployment and its detailed statuses make tracking down and remediating issues a breeze while ensuring that all third-party applications and OS patches are always applied to systems.
One-click compliance configuration templates take the time-consuming work out of figuring out what best practice configurations should be applied to machines.
Device Control allows us to more securely manage external devices by allowing users to request just-in-time temporary access to use specific devices on specific machines.
App Control enhances our administrative capabilities by configuring Privilege application lists that can allow users to run apps with elevation permissions which was not possible with our existing tools.
Can go on but the Pros of this platform will be too long with so much value.
Cons
Custom reports can only be generated in a table format and don't allow graphs or charts to be added which is a bummer.
Threat & Patches dashboards cannot be customized (e.g., change order of blocks, add new blocks, filter by groups, etc.)

Cheap, Easy, and Incredibly Powerful Tool
Overall it has been pleasantly good. There are some things that they could improve on, but you can say that about anyone. In my opinion, Endpoint Central gives you the most for your dollar.
Pros
The main pro is the cost point. You're able to implement a lot of features and control a lot of things for very cheap. If you're a small company and trying to achieve compliancy with NIST 800-171 or anything else, I think this tool is a really amazing starting point.
Cons
In terms of the actual product, there isn't many cons. The biggest con is that interacting with people from support or ManageEngine can be a little weird. Just the other day someone from support called my cell phone for a meeting. I didn't mind it too much, but my phone was at 2%.

Heading in the correct Direction
Manage Engine is a product that is heading toward the correct direction, useful for those with full access. Agent can be installed via GPO, and manually.
Pros
Centralize control, flexible with deployment, management, and vulnerabilities. Have a lot of powerful tools to use, if used correctly.
Cons
Managing the Threats by Software Vulnerabilities, hard to filter and organize devices in this view. Software deployment seems to need silent parameters, softwares would show up with a black box missing the GUI or just fails. Need a Reinstall GPO to perfectly make sure devices have working agent, this is still soemthing I'm struggling with as 300+ devices are showing more than 2 months of inactive.

All in one package
This product offers excellent value for the cost. Its ease of use is another key reason to choose it.
Pros
What I appreciate most about Manage Engine is the complete control it offers over all our devices from a single platform. I particularly value the ability to remotely access these devices as needed. The capability to test and deploy weekly patches and block applications in real-time has been a significant advantage for our company. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, and implementing upgrades has been straightforward. Additionally, the customer support forum has been instrumental in resolving any issues we encounter.
Cons
At times, the interface can be a bit unintuitive, but by using the guides on the ManageEngine portal or contacting technical support, we always manage to accomplish our tasks.
