Instagram is good at displaying very effective ads to the specified demographic. The interface is simple enough and they've even made Reels incredibly easy and accessible to make.
Cons
The analytics and reporting options for business pages are terrible. There is no way to view a lot of the analytics beyond 90 days. You must use Meta Business Suite (still limited) or third-party tools (in most cases, multiple third-party tools).

Good for branding
I have been using Instagram as a Business page mainly to do some outreach, unlike X it still allows to DM anyone free of charge and hopefully it will stay that way. I like posting spontaneously on Instagram but for scheduling I still prefer Later and HootSuite and wish Instagram would get some inspiration to make post scheduling and calendar creation easier as on Instagram we often get confused by them menus.

The algorithm has gotten to know me to the point where all content it recommends is relevant, from the latest music release to trailers for movies. It's my secondary source of communication with friends too.

Instagram can be very addictive, especially with its reels. I find myself needing to limit my usage, as time can pass very quickly! Another dislikeable thing is the amount of sponsored content, with wildly varying quality.

Easy to use

Cons
I don’t like the AI feature on the search page. The location of the microphone in the private messenger, it’s easy to send voice messages by mistake.
