The Byte25 solution comprises a deep packet inspection engine for detailed application-layer performance monitoring as well as an integrated intrusion detection engine for identification of threats as they occur across your infrastructure.


Byte25 has a range of appliances suitable for deployment, from very small organizations to large distributed enterprise networks.  The deployment process involves installing an appliance on-site which continuously collects performance statistics and detects potential threats. The onsite appliance reports to either the Byte25 cloud-based server or a dedicated on-premise server for data analysis and reporting.


Byte25 is available on either a subscription model or on a one-time license basis. The subscription model allows for quick and easy deployment with performance and security data stored on Byte25 cloud servers billed on a monthly cycle. In contrast, the upfront license option is suitable for organizations that wish to retain their data fully on site.
