Exceeded Expectations – A Versatile and Reliable Solution
A pleasant surprise. During our evaluation process (and we tested a lot of systems), Connecteam checked most, but not all, of our boxes. From experience, I expected some unforeseen hurdles or missing features within the first few months—this tends to happen with off-the-shelf software. However, Connecteam defied those expectations and delivered more than anticipated.
Pros
Connecteam is the software that keeps on giving. I’m constantly discovering new ways to integrate it into our business operations. The support team is also a standout feature—always available via chat and ready to assist with any query.
Cons
Honestly, not much to complain about. The only thing I’d love to see is billing in our local currency to avoid high bank fees, especially with a team of over 130 workers.

Connecteam brought us together as a team.
Being an admin I have had an overall great experience with Connecteam. I feel as though it brought us together as a team
Pros
I like that all the features we use at work are all connected on one app. It is easier to find it all on one platform.
Cons
I did not like the scheduler that connect team offered because it was not visual enough for our team to use. Now we continue to make it on a spreadsheet but we post it in connect team as an update.

Communicate efficiently woth different groups of employees and coworkers - but sometimes with...
Largely positive, and an efficient way to communicate, but delays for mobile users can be frustrating and have a negative impact on the ability of users to preform their jobs.
Pros
The ability to create multiple different groups and channels, and to add and remove users from those groups quickly, helps to keep communication organized and streamlined.
Cons
There is frequently lag time for notifications of new chats to show up on user devices (specifically mobile devices), which can cause delay of disseminating vital information in a fast paced environment.

Connecteam review after 8 months in operation.
We have liked it so far. We have not had much technical issues and the platform is easy to train new hires to understand.
Pros
I can monitor my employees time on site and can communicate with them.
Cons
Pay Walls, I like some features from both the HR suites and the Communication suites but not all of them are needed for our operations, so the cost does not make sense to us. To be able to hide employees contact information is an extra cost (pay more to have privacy within a large company) and have a limit for time off is also an extra cost but the features that are included with both of these options are not needed for us.

Connecteam Review
Overall it's a great app that offers a lot of avenues to communicate with team members.
Pros
It's so much more than just a messaging app to communicate with colleagues. I love the knowledge base that allows us to access important documents on a moment's notice. I love the ability to "recognize" staff for achievements for all staff to see. It's great to be able to create courses for educating our staff on important information. Updates are a great way to get information to our team that ensures they see the message directly rather than getting lost in the midst of all the messages. We love that it is HIPAA compliant!
Cons
Connecteam can be slow and that is frustrating. It's not always slow, but definitely can be. I don't like the way notifications are set up as it makes it look like you have a message when you really don't. I often miss personal messages because of the way the notifications are set up, which is definitely frustrating. The mobile app is convenient for general staff, but it is not great for administrators to use. Our company runs 24 hours a day but administrators are not at their desk to use the desktop version for 24 hours a day.

Great service for tracking work done by data reveiewers
Positive. I think it's a great tool and the app works well. It helps track that people are working hours and can match up with their time sheets.
Pros
Easy to keep track of different employees. We have remote workers (data reviewers) on a consultancy basis so they don't have line managers. This makes it easy to align everyone together.
Cons
The amount of emails and notifications I get from the service. I had to switch them off. Also, the website can be a little counter-intuitive at times.

Great tool to boost efficiency + streamline
We've been using it for over 2 years, we're quite satisfied with it overall. They constantly update the features and functionality, a lot has improved in the last years. Support has always been great. There are a bunch of further features in larger packages but we're happy with our current setup.
Pros
Very useful for various aspects of the business including scheduling, communication.
Cons
While the task management module is great to have, its functionality isn't ideal and not on par with other software I previously used for such tasks, but overall we're still sticking to it to reduce the number of platforms we're using within our team.

The Best ConnecTeam Review
Overall I enjoy the experience with Connecteam, it is easy to understand and simple to teach to new people. It is pleasing to look at and has many filters and colors to keep things organized.
Pros
The organization is my favorite part, including all the color options allowing for a clean, neat, and organized schedule.
Cons
What I like the least is there is no clear warning when a scheduled shift overlaps with a new shift I try to add so it leaves room for error of accidentally scheduling someone for one department when they are already scheduled in another. This makes me spend more time triple checking the final schedule.

Time Management Mastered!
Between the webinars, helpful emails and insights, the usability of the program and the professional support team, it's been a worthy annual investment we make for our team.
Pros
We appreciate the functions of the service, particularly for project management and the search functions and filtering through the program. We've been able to track data over this last year we never would've dreamed of effectively capturing before. It has allowed us to systemize our time tracking so effectively and the data has taught us so much about changes we intend to make in the coming year.
Cons
Theres price point adjustments for everything, as a business spending over a thousand dollars a year, these minute limitations that jump up each service type to a separate level for one feature is challenging to nagivate, and more expensive than we'd like.

Connecteam is working pretty good!
Pretty good! I would tell others to try it, it is not a pretty good tool!
Pros
I like the ease of one click to log on, I used it every day all day so I am pretty aware of it's function and features offered. I do with I could unclick when I go to log out and and decided to do one more thing..... you can not back out of your log off! That is annoying.
Cons
Finding the "role" you need to log in as can be annoying. I want to use a role I pick every day but i listed my role way down the list instead of under frequently used list.
Response from Connecteam
Thanks for your feedback!
You have mentioned a couple of things that we'd like to address:
1) Can't go back to your shift once you've clocked out: Sure you can! Just go to your timesheets and edit the shift, it's as simple as that! You can do it from any device :)
2) If you have many jobs listed for you but don't use all of them, simply unqualify yourself from them: Log in to your dashboard and ensure you and your team are only assigned to jobs relevant to each of you. It's very easy to do and will downsize the list of jobs you see when you clock in. By the way, you can even use Geofence to control the jobs shown in each location. Give it a go!
Do you think that these solutions will help? Will you consider changing your review to a higher rating? If you want someone to walk you through it personally, please contact me at [email protected] and I'll be happy to help!
Thanks again!

Connecteam experience
Overall, the experience has been a positive one. I've learned how to create reports the way that make the most sense for me, which I love.
Pros
For the most part, it is user friendly. I can run reports the way I want to see them.
Cons
What I dislike the most about Connecteam is that I have to click the last name column to sort it by last name. In our business, we refer to our officers using their last name. This is annoying to have to click this every time I go into anything. I've discussed this on chat with the support team and they have told me there are no future plans to fix this.

Connectteam is worth a look if you need better communication!
Overall, I would have to say that Connectteam has help our company be on the same page better.
Pros
Connecting my team via the updates and using chat has really helped work more efficiently and smoothly. Started using the timeclock which is not too shabby. The Job Scheduling is decent but complicated.
Cons
The layers of complexity of settings within settings and admin rights to this or that is hard to sort out and set. You have to spend many hours watching videos and trying settings to figure out what works for you. So much trial and error. You can really tell different teams developed different parts. Also wish Connectteam would understand that most employees will not/do not have a desktop (and that includes managers), so when you say "the magic happens at the desktop level" that means little to nothing to most of my team. They use the app only.. myself, and a backup admin, use the desktop mostly. Just remember that when constructing features. Overall it is pricey. And they hide that one final perk to a section behind the next upgrade which means more cost.

Love this for our small business
very good - we like that it has been able to grow with us (Starting with ~30 employees - now to ~50).
Pros
Very user friendly + accessible for whole team. Like that we connect our whole team in messages and everyone has access to contacts. It really helps when we work in new locations (as caterers) to ensure everyone is in correct area.
Cons
I do wish that there was an option on the lower level tiers ( I think we use mid level) that there were more "time off" options. we currently only have access to paid sick or non-paid vacation. Maybe could create smaller add on options instead of having to fully upgrade to next tier

Unlocking Efficiency: How Connecteam Grows with Our Business
At first, I used it for basic functions like storing employee contact information, sending messages, and scheduling group events. As my company transitioned to a paperless workflow, Connecteam proved even more valuable. The forms feature became an essential tool for creating and managing digital documents, and the intuitive mobile preview made form-building seamless and user-friendly.
Pros
I love the layout and multitude of functions. It seems like I keep discover more uses as my company's needs grow. First we just started using it for employee's contact information and to be able to send messages and schedule group events. Then when we went paperless the forms became a useful way to make special documents employees could fill out on the phone or computer and the mobile preview feature while you are making or editing forms makes it feel very intuitive.
Cons
I wish there was more preloaded educational courses/interactive training videos and ESPECIALLY accredited-level courses but really anything and everything a company might need to give to employees to watch. You can build your own courses which is great for very specific stuff but things like safe-driving, ladder safety, Sexual harassment training or OSHA type courses are pretty universal and I don't want to reinvent the wheel (very time consuming) for every single common topic/thing or have to use another product somewhere else. ALSO I think an incredibly useful feature Connect Team should add is a module for making scrolling TV display programming. One way to reach employees with messages is by having them passively displayed on tv's around the business. Some things are not as important as requiring an email blast to every member but still you want to get that message out there. OR reinforce something you did email blast once by having it up on screens. Right now we are using a separate product (screenhub) but what they do seems like something feasible to add to the Connecteam platform and has a synergy to what we use Connecteam for

Connecteam: An HR's Best Friend
It has made my job as an HR easier, faster, and more efficient. You just need to have patience and explore Connecteam because it can be overwhelming at first but it will be very helpful once you've mastered it and know how to utilize its maximum capacity. Thank you so much Connecteam, every HR's Best Friend.
Pros
The scheduling, checking of timesheets with locations, and payroll totals.
Scheduling makes it even easier for the Admins and all employees. They can view it and have different options if they want to swap or need a replacement. It lessens a lot of paperwork since it is already available and recorded on the app.
Checking timesheets has been the most convenient for me because you can check everyone daily, immediately call out latecomers, and monitor their location. No more DTRs and waste of paper.
Extracting payroll from timesheets has been helpful because it saves you a lot of time from computing everyone's payroll.
Cons
What I like least about Connecteam is that there is no option to undo some actions, such as changing their time record or making changes to the schedule. Especially if you have changed it accidentally. Also, sometimes, there's a problem opening the app and detecting locations. I also hope you include an option where they can send a timestamp with the time and their location but still can use it offline because there are some instances where they don't have mobile data or the signal is bad.

Coming from a large inc. company, this was great for the transition into a small private company. It gives you the feel of your own company tools without needing the large support/design network.
Pros
Easy to use platform and access for employees. The chat system and directory is great. Job scheduler and labor tracking awesome. Very simple and practical.
Cons
There could be an easier place/way to upload and store files for the company and employees. Library was limited to what I could upload. I made a folder in knowledge base for a central location for all access files. I also would like to see more details able to be attached to jobs making a job portfolio for each scheduled job. Overall it is positive. We utilize many functions on the system and any time I have needed assistance, everyone has been extremely helpful. The amount of functions is also great and they are adding more all the time.
Pros
We use the scheduling, time clock, and chat features extensively in our business. I like the fact I can use my phone to make admin changes so I can do so when I am not in the office to fix issues.
Cons
Notifications are not consistent and so I will miss messages as they don't make the notification noise or show a symbol for a new message. I also hate the fact that sometimes the words you are typing are very delayed in the chat features. It does not seem to be related to my internet speed so maybe it is just heavy use of the system? It is one of my biggest pet peeves as I am a fast typer and do not like delays.

Pros

Connecteam is now a Core part of our operation.
Positive, light - I mean that CT does not burden the user with too much info and was easy from day one - however there is so much below the surface that we have not yet fully explored the available features. We initially intended using CT as just a Site Attendance App but it soon became apparent that is would be a whole lot more.
Pros
CT is simple to use for the guys on site to figure out from day one and has features that we have been able to add that has not reduced the use by the site team but added real value in the office. We now use is as a company-wide communication system, Work programming, Daily Time Sheets, Site diary with photographic records of daily progress and more.
Cons
Nothing - I have not found a single thing about CT that I dislike or like least.

100% worth the investment
I feel like it has evolved over the padr year
I love the ongoing upgrades and the support that comes with it. I have attwnded somw of the webinars when new features come out. It has been a game changer and a vital part of my business
Pros
Connect team has been a crucial part of our orginaization. It keeps the team unified in allowingnusnto connect with one another to share everything. Whether we are wishing someone a happy birthday or sharing a raving client review, the impact of Connect has bridged the gap between our staff. The organizational aspect for management has been improved greatly with assigned tasks and private groups. This is exactly what we needed and I contribute our success in the buiness to the communication we have achieved with this platform!
Cons
I wish the additional cost to some of thr added features could be chared a la cart. The pricing runs in tiers, however I wish you could specifically pay for a particular feature. Ie delayed scheudled messages. I have my best ideas in the middle of the night and I would love to share with my staff . However, i dont feel the need to upgrade to the next tier as I dont need all the other bells and whistles.

Great business platform
Connecteam is a great addition to our business and day to day operations. There are many features we have chosen not to utilize but I can see if being a great asset for other businesses. We mainly use the platform for communication, scheduling and reporting.
Pros
I love how customizable this platform is. You can really mold it to your business. I love that even the app can load your company logo to really feel like it's built for your business.
Cons
a lot of what I disliked about Connecteam has been fixed in updates through the years of using the platform. There isn't much I can say I don't like.

Satisfied Customer
Overall our experience with Connecteam has been outstanding. There are lots of tutorials and customer service help at the touch of a button. I haven't had to use that very often because the program is very intuitive and easy to navigate. It helps us track our employees' time and vacations as well as gives everyone ample room for comments and notes so we stay informed of any daily work changes, issues and notifications. I am able to edit the status on forms so I can keep track of the ones I have already reviewed. Overall, Connecteam has been a time saver and keeps us organized.
Pros
I like the wide variety of uses this program offers. It allows us to easily communicate with our employees, share scheduled services, edit payroll time sheets and helps tremendously with our billing by allowing our employees to fill out and submit their own forms like service reports and reimbursement expenses.
Cons
If I had to improve something, it would be the ability to add "Jobs" in more places than just the Job scheduler. I sometimes need to add a new job to the time sheets because we are constantly doing business with new customers in the service industry and it would be easier to be able to stay in the time clock to just add a job. Also, it would be nice to combine two of the same jobs that were added by different administrators but spelled differently by accident (similar the the Quickbooks function that allows you to merge customers/jobs).
Occasionally, if a job is added in the job scheduler, it is not automatically added to the time clock function so the employees can see it on the schedule but not clock in to that job. We have to go into the edit job window and manually check the time clock box. That seems a little too tedious.

Connecteam, an all in one solution
Overall has been amazing, creates way less work for us.
Pros
It’s an all in one product for our cleaning company. We were able to eliminate 3 other softwares to just Connecteam.
Cons
I wish when we schedule people we could see the projected cost of the schedule. Basically add in next to where it says how many hours the employee is working, also list their wage cost for that selected time period.

Simplifies work flow and simple to use.
Connecteam is a great platform for our company. We operate multiple venues and things like being able to see who is clocked in is vital for us. Connecteam is easy to use, and provides multiple uses for our company, simplifying our workflow. It makes my job easier, as there is less bouncing around to different software.
Pros
Ease of use and versatility. Continued improvement. Ability to use on phone and computer. Being able to do so many different things including schedule, time clocks, training, completing forms and more in one place simplifies my work life.
Cons
Would like to be able to link easily to a Gusto account that has multiple companies to be able to import timesheets easily

Great value!
We ditched Jobber for Connecteam, and I've realized they had some features that were really helpful for our commercial cleaning business (and lacked many as well which prompted the switch).
For instance, the separate client files that Jobber had, that kept all of the client’s data, activity, and history in was really great for our line of work.
It would be nice to allow the ability for our team to clock into a job AFTER it's scheduled end time because our cleaners typically do not have a firm start time for their job sites, as long as they get them done that evening, so sometimes they start after the "scheduled" start times or do them in a different order. However, they still need a scheduled window of time showing them how long the job site should take, and also for me to know the scheduled time versus the actual work time.
Also, Jobber had the ability to leave notes that stay attached to a recurring job as a clear history of activity and everything that has been noted for that client job SITE, rather than just a shift. It was super helpful. Recurring jobs kept all notes that were added to any shift so that they were visible at any point in the future during a different shift.
Also, Jobber's ability to start and stop job timers for each job and still have the time clock running in the background allowed them to stay clocked in as they went between job sites, but clearly demarcated their time spent at each job site from their time spent traveling between sites. If the Connecteam 'Check-In' and 'Complete' features could be used within a Time Clock and we could add them to each job site, and it demarcated the time clock to distinguish time spent at each site, I believe that could solve this.
I think Celebrations should stay on the feed even after they end.
I think admins should be able to see 'Work Contacts' in the Directory from the app even if other users cannot.
It would be cool to be able to add 'Forms' to an onboarding pack, because you could convert certain paperwork into a form rather than filling out/scanning/uploading a PDF.
Collaborative Forms (checklists) so that multiple users can fill out the same form if they’re doing tasks at the same job site.
Printable Forms, both blank and completed.
It would be cool if you could add/insert/attach a Form within a Form. Example, our 'Job Site Inspection' form could have an attachment/shortcut to our 'Supply Request' form right in it. So when someone does a site inspection they could also note supplies needed in a way that it would funnel to the correct spot = supply requests, rather than having to fill out 2 separate forms, and also so the admin doesn't have to check 2 different forms for supplies needed (ie. ‘Job Site Inspections’ and ‘Supply Requests’).
The 'Events' could be enhanced to be similar to Calendly, where you can invite people who are NOT users to an event, and set MULTIPLE email AND text reminders in the days and hours leading up to an event. That would be amazing for our hiring funnel!
Conditional 'Tasks' would be cool.
Also, a MONTHLY Job Schedule view that toggled on for an "expanded view" so you could see everything scheduled in each day without needing to expand each condensed day separately. Currently the monthly view only shows you 3 shifts per day and you need to expand EACH DAY individually in order to see the full daily schedule. ALSO- to toggle on a MONTHLY view that only shows each job SITE scheduled rather than each user scheduled. It could show every user assigned to that job site up in the corner of the shift or something, instead of having 3 users showing up in 3 different spots on the daily schedule when they're all going to the same job site at the same time. Basically a job site view option and a user view option within the monthly view option.
I think it would be nice when a user receives a 'Request for Replacement' for a shift, they would keep being notified about the request until they accept it or reject it.
Also- if the geofences could be smaller, and be able to customize the shape around each job site/building. PLUS- AUTO CLOCK IN AND OUT GEOFENCING would be AMAZING!
Please know that these are not criticisms, rather ideas for improvement. I am thrilled overall with the switch from Jobber and think you offer a TON a value! Much appreciated, thanks, and well done.
Pros
It includes Ops, Comms, and HR. We switched from Jobber and it required a ton of other apps and integrations. Connecteam has it all.
Cons
You cannot make separate client files bc it is 'shift' based rather than 'client' based. We're making it work so far, but not being able to keep all ongoing activity recorded and documented per client is almost a deal breaker, for our industry anyway (commercial cleaning).

Significant improvement to our Everyday Business with Connecteams!
Very positive, it has streamlined our communication greatly and improved overall service and connectivity with our team significantly.
Pros
The desktop version is very user friendly, really like date and time stamps on messages and tasks to see exactly when a submission was made. TONS of options for creating all sorts of content, seems limitless really.
Cons
I wish the app would show different views for scheduling so you may look at a full week or month at a time like other Calendar platforms. Would be nice as well if a payroll schedule could be set in the platform and then it would give the times for each staff during those periods (or maybe it can but I do not know how to do so!)

Loving the connectivity this provides our staff!
Honestly, the best part has been being able to get help from staff, even if the question seems silly. We've had a great time with the app, even if only 2/3 of the staff use it regularly. We love the user friendly concept as we have staff who are technology challenged who have been able to navigate the app.
Pros
We love the ability to keep our staff connected to each other and to be able to share important company and community updates in a place where all can see it- as we have work from home and in person staff.
Cons
We wish were able to make the plan a little more customizable to what we need. We have some features we don't use and some we would love to add but it isn't enough to justify the upgrade to the next level.

Pros
The variety it provides. We are able to use it as a full HR software, payroll assistance, and communication tool for providing site staff access to documents and forms all available on their mobile phones.
Cons

Review experience
I have really enjoyed it so far, and have been happy with our choice as we had many products to choose from with a diversified group, and certainly price was always a consideration with so many user at the start of a new platform with a new system and designing has been interesting and challenging at the same time.
Pros
So far I’ve enjoyed the chat feature and able to use the mobile app for administrative and teaching as well as the kiosk mode for testing other users issues
Cons
The job scheduling and setup has been cumbersome with our unique business model and found a few technical issues with parent and sub jobs that I have diagnosed for CT and referee issues to Lior and then had them fixed from the developers group (ie never had anyone suggest that when importing jobs that the subjobs were not coming automatically checked with the parent job details to take the same attributes as the parent hence had to get design involved and update issues because of unacceptable behavior for those issues. Had to provide video of experience so they could understand the issue and help with testing, but ultimately it was as fixed, with one more template issue still under consideration of the developers team (jobs do not allow template import correctly with users and NO group can be attached to jobs but it combines the users and groups into one during import process and have to ultimately turn off each and every job (and sometimes the subjobs) while importing, and that prices can be lengthy, especially when importing hundred of jobs with 8 subjobs each.
Reasons for Choosing Connecteam
Price and to have more things within one platform, so easier communication, also we have veer changing needs being contractual with WA state and need to revise our building of plans and platform. What didn't work for me, might work for you.
The app platform is user friendly, very easy to figure out even with no training. When I discovered there was no way to GPS track my very wide and spread out sales team, I switched to another service. Printing time sheets was a little glitchy but while annoying it was manageable.
Pros
For field canvass management PROS - this app does work great ONLY IF you have immediate supervision over your field team. You can communicate via messaging and do the basic punching in and out right from this app. You can print time sheets.
Cons
FIELD CANVASS MANAGEMENT CONS
-You can NOT GPS track your team, so if you DON'T have supervisors actually out walking with your canvassers you will not know where they are and you'd have to just trust people punching in and out and actually canvassing and doing what they're supposed to be doing.
- I didn't care for the time sheets feature on the desktop, you'd have to log out and refresh any time you select the period (dates) that you want to export, which was a huge pain for me.
-If you have commission ONLY canvassers, this app would be OK, and its very cost effective, you get a lot out of the free version.
Now, if you're like me and have hourly+commission team - you want eyes on them at all times. You can't pay someone hourly without knowing what they're doing - are they at the mall shopping? are they home? Are they working?
The lack of real-time tracking was the main reason I stopped using it. Wasn't a good fit for us, but it may be a good fit for someone else.

JibbleReasons for Switching to Connecteam
I actually started with Connecteam, then switched to Jibble for all the additional very robust features. Security, and GPS tracking.Response from Connecteam
Thanks for your feedback! We're a bit confused, though. There IS real-time GPS tracking, and you can see your users' routes when they're on the clock, so if you want to make sure people don't wander around, that's definitely available. As for switching between dates in the timesheets, they DO update automatically in real-time, you don't need to refresh manually, and you definitely don't need to log out.
On top of that, we're adding the ability to clock users out automatically if they leave a certain Geofence, so with that capability, you can rest assured no one's getting paid if they're not in the workplace...
If you want to consider giving us another go, I'm willing to walk you through it myself :) Please reach out to me at [email protected] if you're interested, and I'll be more than happy to show you how things work and make sure it meets your needs. Thanks again!
