## Reviews

### "Security mandated switch from google" — 1.0/5

> **Elizabeth** | *7 April 2026* | Government Relations | Recommendation rating: 2.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The security features are why we had to switch to Microsoft. It is CMMC compliant for DOW contracts.
>
> **Cons**: It is stated and not as user-friendly to manage your inbox or use as Google Gmail docs, etc. feels like a legacy 1980s product
>
> Still resending that we had to switch to this because of security requirements. Inbox management is terrible and nothing is as intuitive as gmail

### "Power and Versatility, but it Comes at a Cost" — 4.0/5

> **Danielle** | *31 March 2026* | Publishing | Recommendation rating: 6.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Microsoft 365 stands out for its seamless integration of powerful tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, all accessible across devices through the cloud. One of the best features that I appreciate is real-time collaboration, allowing multiple users to work on the same document simultaneously with automatic saving via OneDrive. It also offers strong security and regular updates, ensuring files and data stay protected. Additionally, its user-friendly interface and deep functionality, like advanced Excel analytics or AI-powered suggestions in Word, make it suitable for both personal and professional use.
>
> **Cons**: What I like least about Microsoft 365 is its pricing. Compared to other programs that can be accessed for free, the price can be a bit expensive for this suite of programs, especially for individuals or small teams who may not need all of its features. While the tools are powerful, the subscription model can feel like a commitment, and costs can add up over time. Additionally, some users may find certain features overly complex if they only need basic functionality, making it feel like more than what’s necessary for simple tasks.
>
> My overall experience with Microsoft 365 has been a mix of strong functionality and some practical drawbacks. On the positive side, it stands out for its seamless integration of tools which are all accessible across devices through the cloud. The real-time collaboration feature is especially valuable, allowing teams to work on the same document simultaneously with automatic saving via OneDrive. Security and regular updates provide peace of mind for its users. The user-friendly interface, along with advanced capabilities, making it a versatile option for both personal and professional use.

On the other hand, there are some drawbacks to consider. The cost and commitment to subscriptions and licenses can be quite expensive, especially for individuals or small teams who may not require the full range of features. These expenses can accumulate over time, putting this program at a disadvantage compared to alternatives that offer similar features for free. Moreover, while the tools are powerful, some features can be unnecessarily complex for basic tasks, potentially making the platform less accessible to users with simpler needs.

### "Best Online File Collaboration" — 5.0/5

> **Orlando** | *18 February 2026* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: That I can collaborate with fellow colleagues on Excel, Word and PowerPoint documents in real-time from different locations and devices, without having to save my work and send a file as attachment.
>
> **Cons**: At this stage I can't think of anything that I dislike with the product, I am still trying to figure out Co-Pilot.

-----

### "Universal Office Suite" — 4.0/5

> **Giovanni** | *26 January 2026* | Hospitality | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It is the most used Office Suite, and it can also handle the majority of formats from other Office Suites. Most of our users feel very comfortable using this software.
>
> **Cons**: Updates are sometimes painful. I would like to choose which apps to install instead of having the all-in-one combo, and even when uninstalling manually specific apps, they are reinstalled with updates

### "Their AutoSave Feature is a Must" — 4.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *25 February 2026* | Real Estate | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: I like the different programs that Microsoft 365 offers. It's great for work, especially when it comes to their autosave feature. I don't know how many times their autosave feature has saved me honestly. Additionally, they are pretty great on storage.
>
> **Cons**: What I like least about Microsoft 365 is how limited the access can be, especially because it's a paid software so it tends to get very pricey and sometimes formats converted to other formats tend to get weird.
>
> I have used Microsoft 365 for school and for work, and thankfully both work and school has paid for the software so it was one less thing for me to worry about. Overall, it has been positive and I'm continuing to use all their different programs for work and my university classes.
