Great for the price; Use for my online shop
I used Weebly for my online apparel business, and had switched to Weebly from Etsy. The experience has been great and I am still on Weebly’s monthly plan.
Pros
Weebly has been great for setting up an online shop in combination with my Square payments account and my website domain I purchased for cheap outside of Weebly. Weebly has a great monthly price plan that doesn’t break the bank for me and it comes with everything I need including domain transfer, easy online shopping set-up, store personalization, etc. I was able to easily hook-up my Weebly shop with Square which has low processing fees and instant deposits & transfers. I definitely suggest using Weebly with Square as they both compliment each other and both offer features that go hand-in-hand and make purchasing, shipping, bookkeeping, invoicing, etc. go by smoothly.
Cons
I didn’t have any cons. It did take me a little while to understand how to link my domain but that was due to my own fault.

It is easy and cheap and you can get a website up quickly
Overall I have been a loyal customer with now 3 websites for probably 10 years. I like them better than Go Daddy, well at least from 10 years ago. I think the Square addition should be a little less imposing, I know it is their company and I use them as my credit card processing and POS and the integration is cool but Weebly I think should be about the website first. It a quick way to get a website with a domain up and minimal knowledge cheap though so overall I do like the product.
Pros
I like how you do not have to know HTML and a whole bunch of other modern languages. It is quick and easy to launch a website and a trusted company that is not a scam which the internet is filled with. I like the shell overall and have 3 different websites with them.
Cons
When Square took over it made it much harder to navigate through the shell to build on the websites and it is not customizable enough for individual companies. Also I don't like how they try and force you into multiple expensive subscriptions such as (custom)@(your name.yourdomain) they want to try and make you think you have to pay google all this money and you do not. There are many things there where I feel like they should be honest and give you choices.

"Starter" websites: Easy to DIY, lacking in customization
Weebly makes it unbelievably easy to create simple websites with virtually no technical skill or experience. If you're a solo entrepreneur, on a modest budget, and don't care about ranking well in search results, this is a solid choice. Think of a Weebly website as a "starter" website.
If you are part of a bigger company or have more specific needs in a website, skip Weebly and consider hiring an experienced developer. You'll be glad you did.
Pros
Weebly is the easiest website building platform I've ever used. The drag-and-drop style of editing is highly visual, so you can literally see what you are creating in real time. It puts building your own website in reach for many people, saving thousands of dollars in design and development fees. You also don't have to worry about setting up third-party web hosting because Weebly keeps things under one roof.
Cons
All the ease of use comes at a cost, and that is the ability to customize. Compared to other platforms, Weebly is very limited in what it can do. Basic eCommerce is an option, which is a plus. But if you are used to an endless array of plugins, say, then you will be disappointed at the limited features offered in Weebly. If you just need a simple website and don't have your heart set on very unique layouts or effects, this is not a problem.
I also have to point out the SEO factor. Weebly offers the ability to optimize some parts of the website - and you should optimize as much as you can. However, coming from a developer who even halfway knows what they're doing, a Weebly site is going to have a hard time competing with a well-optimized website on a certain other very popular web platform.
Definitely not the least expensive hosting provider out there, either.
Reasons for Switching to Weebly
Ease of use - could complete websites faster in a very small, growing company. It was also recommended to us by a third-party online class, for the same reason. Virtually no technical knowledge at all is required.Top Weebly Alternatives

Managing a College Website through Weebly
An overall positive experience with Weebly providing great solutions and critically reducing the time needed to communicate our work to the batch.
Pros
Weebly provides an interface that is easy to use for the end user while at the same time giving enough functionality to the end user to modify it according to their standards. Another aspect of Weebly that makes it super fun to use is the ease at which you can set up your website and the subsequent management of it too.
Cons
This might be very subjective as being a college student, the price of Weebly was somewhat of a burden on the student body.

Success with Weeble
Pros
Weebly is very easy to learn, use and implement. The free version has so many features that its great to try it out before you buy it.
Cons
It can be tough to edit Weebly from the phone app but we haven't had a need to make changes on the fly, so it's been okay to not have phone editability.

An almost top dog website builder
I would say that my overall experience with Weebly has been satisfactory but a little underwhelming. When I compare with other website builders like: Squarspace, etc. They seem to look more modern and more stylish. I do not know if I am staying with them or moving on in the near future.
Pros
I was able to create my website the way I wanted it. I had been fighting to create a website until I finally did it and decided to go with Weebly because my wife has her website with them and it looked pretty cool. I chose a template and replaced everything with my pics and videos and voila I had my website.
Cons
I feel like the website can be clunky and sometimes non responsive. Sometimes while dragging and dropping the different options for photos and videos the preview would not be an accurate depiction of what it actually looked like in the website. It would freeze sometimes and you would need to get out and come back in and pray that the changes you made were saved, sometimes it was and sometimes it was not.

Easy to use, may not be as sophisticated
Great for someone who doesn't know how to code to create a website. Comes at a cost.
Pros
I liked all of the easy widgets and how it automatically makes your website work with different types of browsers. I am used to having to code by scratch so seeing how simple it is to just drag and drop divisions, paragraphs, images, and text was really handy.
Cons
The cost, it's not free! But it also isn't as sophisticated. I like with code to be able to create whatever I want (for example an animated logo image that spins). You are limited to the customization of Weebly and this case.

Overall good for beginners
It is not as much good as other website builders. Other websites builders provide you full control and variety of customization options but weebly doesn’t. If you are a beginner, you can opt for weebly for learning.
Pros
it's a very good platform for users to build websites easily providing free to paid plans. Best for the beginners who don’t know coding or find coding difficult.
Cons
It has limited phone support and very few customization options for website building. Ads are another drawback that comes with free plan unless you upgrade to a paid plan.

Great options for a self-published author
I love what I can do with Weebly. I use one of the smaller package options and it allows me to apply my logo to the menu tab, as well as knock the weebly.com off my website address. I found it easy to set up photos and link them to other websites, making my home page set-up exactly as it needed to be for an author. The package I'm using also opened up the option to create a password protected page. I haven't used that option and I doubt I will. I haven't needed it up to this point. It's nice to know it's available, though. Creating a landing page to add to my social media sites was also pretty easy to do.
Pros
Weebly was so easy to set up and use. The drag and drop features can't be beat. The free to pro features are clearly outlined to help you decide which one will work best for your needs.
Cons
It's clearly created with fast, reliable internet in mind. My internet is not so fast, since our ISP uses cell towers to bounce signals around. We're a rural area and with only one company providing internet service, if lots of people are online, I can't even use the site. The editor just refuses to open.

Easy and professional website design
I love weebly, I’ve used it for many of my businesses to create a beautiful and professional website. It is so easy to use and to integrate any type of business into a great website. I’ve used it for web stores, for appointment software, and photography. You would never know I did it myself, it looks so good.
Pros
I love that it has the WYSIWYG design and makes building and creating a multi layer website super easy. It also has the advanced features and coding for more in depth design if needed. It was also great to have so many templates to start building from.
Cons
I didn’t like that you couldn’t edit the footer on the free plan. I think there are some limitations, like being able to place and move objects, that have unnecessary restrictions. For example, trying to move a photo or block of text into white space, it sometimes doesn’t allow you to utilize the entire area.

Easy to Use Drag and Drop Website Builder
I love Weebly and currently use it for my website.
Pros
I love Weebly. I started off using Weebly, and then came back to using Weebly after trying two other website builders. What I like about Weebly is its simple interface. It's very user and beginner friendly. It's drag and drop website builder is intuitive for anyone. Now that Weebly has partnered with Square it has a lot more all-in-one functionally. You can have a blog, email marketing, Facebook posts, point of sale, appointments, eCommerce, and more.
Cons

Great alternative for Homeowner Associations
My homeowner association was in desperate need to get with the times! Trying to snail mail and go door to door is simply not practical in this modern age. Professional web development services were too costly. In looking at the numerous website builders, I decided to try Weebly since it offers a completely free option. All of our community documents, meeting information, etc. are now online. We've also been able to integrate an online process for residents to pay assessments online as well as direct realtors and title companies to an estoppel form. Our neighborhood website has now become the gold standard that other neighborhoods within my community are trying to duplicate. Overall Weebly has been a godsend!
Pros
Weebly is a very compelling service to publish professional looking content in an easy to use interface. I have found that the free option provides more than enough flexibility to meet my needs.
Cons
I would like to see some of the additional features be available as an a la carte offering rather than flat subscription fees.

Weebly one of the many choices for a website
It is a software that is easy to use and everyone with a bit of computer knowledge can set up a website.
I have used it for my trial sites and find it a good choice to try things out first before I implement it on our main website.
Pros
Weebly is easy to set up, and you are finished with a basic website in a couple of hours.
Easy to use and simple drag and drop instructions. The training videos provided are good and very useful.
Cons
You are restricted in things to do and add especially with the free version. If you do not go for the pro version you are limited on what you can do on your website. The free version comes with the Weebly extension. If you upgrade later on you are not sure you can buy the same domain without the Weebly extension.

Weebly is user friendly and cost effective if you need a web page set up quickly!
I have not had to contact Weebly support at all, so that is a positive in my book! Many times when I start out with a new software program or web program, there is a lot of communication between myself and the company support team in order to get things how I need them. This was so user-friendly that my son set up a free personal page for a class in just a single day. As a tech coordinator, this was very easy for me to set up, and our admin assistant was able to learn to add & edit content very quickly.
Pros
I like that there are many themes to choose from to customize your site on Weebly, and the interface is user friendly. You can switch back and forth from a screen that looks like a word processor (for selecting bold, italics, font size, color, etc.) OR you can switch to the coding language of HTML if you want further customizations. I have gotten along great without needing to switch to HTML, but it is nice to know I have the option. There is a nice variety of templates to choose from, and you can control who can view your page. For our organization, we only wanted our staff to have access to personnel forms, so we set this up with a password. Very easy to select that option if you need a private site.
Cons
At first it was confusing that I had to make two payments every few years. Then I realized that one payment is for Weebly to secure your preferred domain name (if it is available) and they register it for you. I have that part set up to renew every five years.
The second payment is an annual subscription fee for using the Weebly software interface and all the features that comes along with that including a nice selection of themes.

One of the best user-friendly sitebuilders on the web
Weebly is by far the best website editor I've used since I started having interest in owning a website. The editor is very user friendly and its quite easy to set up multiple webpages; although the hyperlink has a .weebly.com tag in it, Weebly can be a great start if you're looking to build a website and don't know too much HTML and coding; highly recommend! There are a couple things that may need changing though. There's a lot of white space in the side margins of the website, and this may differ depending on the monitors used; despite how much content you may have on that webpage, everything on the website is centered to the middle of the page (it would be nice to edit the side margins to remove that white space.Another thing with enabling a custom domain, and enabling SSL security for it, is that the tutorial I feel is slightly outdated; ended up contacting GoDaddy support to find out how to set it up as the tutorial for it on Weebly didn't help much.It would also be nice to edit the mobile version of the website as the difference between the desktop version and mobile is crazy; its very squished and images for some reason appear enlarged compared to the desktop version. It doesn't look very appealing on mobile. My final note is that its quite expensive to enable all features of the website. It's not too bad to remove Weebly's ads and enable a custom domain with GoDaddy (or another similar provider), but again, make sure you're able to afford the upgrade
Pros
> Easy to use> Updates new changes quickly on the website> Multiple available apps to integrate, and easy to apply or remove from the editor> Customer support is reliable> No limitations to how much content you can have on the website> Settings easy to configure> Multiple options to set up custom domains> Multiple theme options to choose from (although more options/layouts could be better)> Ability to change defaults for fonts, font colour, style and size in theme options> Easy to "clean up" the website to look appealing
Cons
> Expensive to unlock all features for the site (including ecommerce, removing Weebly's ads, custom domain, etc.)> A lot of white space on the side margins of the editor, especially if the website is slightly zoomed out.> Setting up a custom domain using GoDaddy or another provider is a slightly tedious process to finish - with another owned website and domain, it took around 3-4 days to enable SSL security.> You're not able to edit the mobile version of the website

A decent hosting service
Weebly is another hosting service which recognizes the need for users to be able to tailor their own content without the next for expensive web tools or web designers. It simplifies web creature through the use of web site creation too and plugins which add the necessary functionality for the site. I have a few clients that use Weebly hosting. The site works and the tool is ok but can be a fickle beast when its ready. Some recent outages have made me question their reliability as they are happening more frequently.
Pros
The web creation tool is simple to use and you can build some really good looking launchpad sites. Once you get accustomed to the interface then its quick and easy to use. I like the ability to drag and drop in features which allow me try stuff out rather than having to always refresh to see the changes that had been made. Little to no knowledge of web design or programming is need and their ecommerce plugins are top notch. Sites can be finished in no time. The web hosting is price to well compared to other similar services. There is a free option if you want to try out their hosting service.
Cons
There are quite a few features that you're not going to get with the free hosting. The web site creator might require you to seek some assistance for more advance features or settings. Some WordPress additions will require some amount of technical knowhow. In fact, there are many services will still require experience in web design to be able to properly streamline to match your needs. For professionals the tool may be very limiting in what it offers and the source code can be very messy to deal with. Also I feel that there are not enough free themes available given that your are already paying premium for their hosting service. Also their lowest paid tier has ads and I find it ridiculous to be paying for ads. Frankly you're better off just getting the Business package as everything else isn't worth the money but that make the service a bit more costly than the competition.

As a web designer, I'm surprised at how pretty you can make Weebly sites
I had a client ask me to build her two websites in Weebly and I must say they came out pretty awesome! Keep in mind I'm a WP/Squarespace designer so this was kind of something I didn't want to do. The good thing is my clients can easily just edit their websites after I make them pretty. So great for those who don't want to worry about the tech/maintenance etc.
Pros
The drag and drop builder is super easy to use and in fact, it rivals the WordPress and Squarespace ones. It's smart enough to know if you drag and drop a photo that you want the text to wrap around the photo. Other builders can't seem to get this right. They will usually turn it into two columns and have too much white space under the photos. MORE WRAPPING please.
Cons
It's glitchy in Firefox, took me a few days of running into issues to realize it was that. It works better if you use Chrome with it.

Develop your website, without coding in a few minutes.
Weebly is a great tool when creating websites, it has helped me to speed up the creation of small and medium projects, which is where it is most useful, however when creating projects or ecommerce with a massive amount of objects, It is not the best tool since it lacks some features to be able to handle this amount more efficiently. In spite of this, it is excellent, for personal use, medium-sized companies, or start up, that need a professional web page and at a low cost.
Pros
What I like most about Weebly is how easy it is to create web pages, since it allows selecting from an acceptable variety of templates that have a great design, and are totally responsive, also allow the use of applications that integrate different functionalities to the website in a fast way, it is excellent for projects that have a large amount of information, since it has several tools that facilitate SEO, in addition it also integrates well with google analytics, with its content manager making CRUD is really easy and fast, so publishing content is an easy task, plus everything can be done without having to write code.
Cons
Although it is easy to edit web pages, you only need to drag and drop, to modify some additional functions or to edit the website more thoroughly, you need to know html and css, which maybe for users who do not know it complicates the task of personalizing their web page, does not allow to restore the website to previous versions manually, so you must contact the helpdesk, however, they are very attentive and respond quickly.

My Review of Weebly Website Builder
I have used Weebly for several years. I've had an occasion or two to contact their customer support and they have been a great help. Usually, my issue is resolved fairly quickly. I cannot recommend Weebly an higher than I already have! This is a great platform to build your website on!
Pros
I enjoy Weebly's "drop and drag" blocks to build the website. You can move things around. You can change the way they look. You can add features...the design results are truly limitless. I have used Weebly for several years in hosting a few of my websites. The customer support is terrific. I've only had to contact them a couple of times and have had very quick responses. Definitely worth the price (and their prices are VERY comparable to others out there that do not even come close to Weebly's quality)!
Cons
Every now and then, I will want to try and do something of a tweak to my website, and I do not know how to make it happen. There is almost no tutorial help. The best way of finding out "how to do something on a Weebly website" is to go to YouTube or Google and put in a search. I've found that is the fastest way to make a change I'm not sure how to accomplish on my own.

Amazing software for website building and website design - strongly recommended
Overall, I love using Weebly to create website because I feel like I'm not restricted to a template but I also have many features to help make the website look professional. Very user friendly platform, anyone can use it as long as they are willing to learn.
Pros
I have been making blogs and websites with Weebly for almost 5 years now. The website I made for my tutoring initiative and small business have been the best work of mine so far. One thing that I really like about Weebly is that the platform gives you a lot of freedom to personalize your website and give it your touch but the platform also has suggestions/features that help make whatever you produce look professional. The features such as spacers which create a space between different objects make the site look much more aesthetically pleasing as everything is not just crammed together. The features such as "contact forms" or "image galleries" are very practical features to have and help shape a well made website. Weebly is also incredibly user friendly. Anyone willing to learn would be able to figure out how to use the platform in a very short amount of time. You can choose to preview the site and test out the site to see how everything is working and make any needed changes accordingly.
Cons
I really don't have anything bad to say. Weebly has always been my go to when it comes to creating websites.
